Bought this for my son's birthday. The keyboard itself is great, but the stand is unstable, the headphone's jack doesn't fit the keyboard and the packaging for both the headphones and stand looked as if they had been open, dropped and just plain old and used.

This keyboard was a Christmas gift for my adult daughter. She was very pleased with the keyboard but the stand was not very stable and had to lean it up again something to keep it stable. I wish we had purchased the stand separately.

I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. I paid less for the keyboard pack than I would have had I purchased the YPT-330 brand new. The unit arrived faster than I anticipated and in very good condition. The power supply, headset, and stand were also in good condition.

the headphones that came with the keyboard worked only the first day of use and only for less than one minute. And they look of inferior quality than the keyboard.

Nice keyboard. Lacks concise instructional book.(I guess it is lost in translation.) An experienced keyboard instructor and my musical wife spent several hours trying to figure out how to find the rhythm back round. Two keys needed to be pressed simultaneously to increase the barely perceptible sound. Nothing was in the book regarding this.

Let us first state these are $70 with Bluetooth 4.0 70 bones for bluetooth headphones can't be compared to Grados or any of the high priced stuff. So let's begin.

I bought these for daily action on a cyclocross bike that gets me to and from work, listening at work of audiobooks and spotify and then onto training(running, jogging, biking at 20mph+ for 2 hours a day).

I am an audiophile and a mad engineer... for the price I feel like I actually got value out of a purchase which is very rare for me as I like to do the whole "buy once high quality" (my things last me a long, long time) I approve on all accounts so far. I will update this as I use the heck out of them but so far they are awesome for $70.

Bass Response Yep (Beats my corded Sony Sport inner ears by 45.983 times)

Mids Yep

Highs Yep

Talking on the phone going 20mph through the forest then switching back to Bonobo Kong YEP.

Interestingly making me look even more alien YEP

The only gripe I have is they had to be adjusted when I turned my head biking and sandwiched the cord between my neck and helmet. This I am going to fix with a rubber strap and have them mounted to my helmet (Yes Tenga, you can give me free stuff for that idea... seriously)

So for 70 sheckles that sound better than those horrid i-phone headphones, have bluetooth and can withstand an athlete that bikes everyday. They are a success.

If you break stuff and your gear doesn't last long... don't buy these as I am guessing you will step on, pull the cords out or break them as they are quite small and of course you just love your bad quality i-phone ear buds anyways.

one.

(excuse my writing, I get quite excited for new gadgets and my writing isn't what's here to reviewBe accepting of others and keep your comments to yourself, we don't need it and I don't care)

We have been using one of these mixers for more than 18 months now with no problems it is a great starter mixer at a great price. It is the mixer recommended by the authors of the Podcast Solutions book one of the first books on podcasting.

You should keep in mind the limitations though while you can have a number of inputs, the USB connection is going to mix everything down into a single track when it outputs. This means that you can't do post production editing on individual tracks. If you want to do this, you should look at the firewire version of this mixer.

Otherwise, it is a great starter box and has been very reliable. Highly recommended.

It seems to work ok unless you need to put the sound through the USB. Once you do so, there's a high pitched noise and hiss that will come through on recordings. I Googled this issue, and it seems to be a common problem, especially on desktop computers. Laptops seem to have better luck. Apparently, there is a grounding issue with the USB. Aside from the high pitched noise and hiss, I couldn't get my bass to sound decent through the mixer. It sounded great on the headphones on the mixer but sounded awful after going through USB despite trying a myriad of settings. I am currently trying to return this.

This unit runs very hot, I modified mine with a PC fan and am now satisfied for a cheap mixer/interface:

Want ALESIS MultiMix 8USB Audio Mixer Discount?

I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. First I noticed over at his house a high pitched hiss when we were playing around with his setup. I thought at the time maybe this was something in his computer somewhere.

Then I got mine, and lo and behold, the same problem! This hiss only occurs through the USB interface. When I ran it through an M-Audio Mobile Pre USB, no hiss. I Googled this and there are numerous reports of people having this problem. This is not an isolated incident. I don't do many Amazon reviews. I only take the time to do this one to say "buyer beware."

So if you are looking to use the USB interface, consider another product, because you are just going to have to sink another $30-$100 on an audio interface to connect to your PC. If you don't need USB, this seems like a perfectly fine mixer. It just annoys me to buy a something only to find that one of its main features is completely broken.

Many of the jobs I play as a musician are with a two-piece or three-piece band. The main reason I bought this mixer (I bought two, actually, in case one breaks) is because I needed a very compact mixer to mount into a custom-built, half-rack PA system, yet the mixer could not skimp on features.

I needed six channels, and all six needed to have three-band EQ and a monitor send. Too many compact mixers today focus on features for two or four channels, and pretty much disregard the rest of the inputs. And some mixers use volume faders instead of knobs, which requires making the mixer needlessly larger. The Alesis MultiMix is uniquely compact because of how it uses every square inch of space.

I wouldn't call the effects top-grade, but in a live setting they do the job just fine.

I have used this mixer on a weekly basis for about seven or eight years now, and it's still working great.

I do a fair amount of video work, a lot of which is at my church. In various situations, I will need a lapel mic, and others a stereo feed from my shotgun mic (used as a boom mic) or from the board mix. This is still the only device (at least only affordable device) that I have found to be able to do all those things, most of all the stereo wireless transmission.

The audio has no latency that I can find -as one other review seemed to indicatespeaking as one who watches mouths or drums or anything else closely and listens for the sound to match up. Perhaps he is more precise in measuring it than I, but I cannot detect any latency in the sound whatsoever by my ear.

The sound quality is quite good, it sounds every bit as good as a normal 1/8" line, and very much better if there is any distance over 20'. The transmitter works over a pretty great distance without walls, probably around their claim of 100'. With walls, it seems to be much shortened, just using it walking around the house listening to music from my laptop. I don't feel this to be a problem, as I always have sight line when using it.

The battery life is at least 2-3 hours, though I haven't gone longer without charging it, as it would be a major setback for the batteries to be depleted while I needed to be using them. It does give a low battery indication on the LED flashes, but beyond that there is no way to know the amount of battery remaining that I am aware of.

One note, somehow in my skimming of information online before the purchase and the quick start guide, I had the impression that it would be set for stereo line in from the first time I turned it on. I later discovered that I had used it in the passive guitar mode instead of stereo line mode, which is why it always sounded like an ocean in the background on sound from the board or boom mic! Make sure you learn about the modes and set them properly or you won't like what you get!

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend this item!

This is the 2nd time I have purchased the WI Digital Wireless for use with a guitar. Got this one for our bass player. They both work great, but have a small amount of delay. The 2 units do not interfere with each other and up to 10 transmitters can be used without any interference. The delay is really not an issue, but if one is particular about small minor problems then you should look else where for a wireless unit.

there's a delay between the note being played and the note sounding. It's very noticeable and distracting if you try to use these as instrument wireless system. I have used them at four gigs as in-ear monitors. The latency does not bother me when I use them this way.

I also have a line 6 G50 wireless system which does not have this problem.

These are well built, easy to use, and the included cables and case are very nice.

I recently went out on a limb and ordered 2 of these systems to be used simultaneously as a way to send wireless signal from an analog mixer to two powered speakers. The speakers were within about 50 feet of the transmitters and had reasonable line of sight. My initial tests seemed ok until I tried to use them at an event. I lost signal to one of the speakers multiple times and could not seem to make any adjustments that would resolve the problem. On a positive note I went to the website, left a note on their forum and recieved a phone call within a couple days. A very polite man explained that the two transmitters need to be seperate from each other or the signals get confused. Sounded like a reasonable explanation so I ran some tests using each system independantly and had the same issues. For my puposes this is just a chance that I cannot take and decided to return the product. I want to be fair and say that the system seems like good quality equipement and does perform the task it was designed for. I am just not sure how reliable the connection will be. Too bad because I was excited about the concept. I have since discovered that the companay will be marketing a product specifically for wireless speaker systems. Maybe there is still hope!

There are heaps of positive reviews for all things Moog, so I will share the drawbacks I've found from two years of playing this synth, rather than all the things I love about it.

First of all, to the people who might not have immediately understood this: this synth only plays one one at a time. It's a monophonic analog synthesizer. No chords, nothing that involves playing more than one note at a time.

Now that we got that out of the way.

This synth excels for the same reasons that a very well made guitar or saxophone excels. The character of the notes that comes out of it is extremely high quality, meaning that it's a very round, full sound with a rich spectrum of harmonics, plenty of bass, and something indescribable that just sounds expensive, rich, and creamy about the notes you play with it. Just like the notes that emit from a multi-thousand dollar saxophone sound rich, pure and refined.

This synth, however, is not what you might call surprising. While there is an extremely wide range of tonal character and bizarre gurgly or bleepy-bloopy sounds--along with big fat bass notes or bombastic lead sounds--it's not an infinite sound machine. If you are new to synthesis, much of the Little Phatty might even sound dated or simplistic to your ears. Do you love new, aggressive dubstep? Complex sound-design genres like UK Bass, IDM, ambient, or atmospheric minimal techno? If so, you will find that the Little Phatty makes a certain type of sounds from those genres, but it will not create lush atmospherics, shockingly complex dubstep drops, otherwordly ghost sounds, or anything requiring the complex character of a digital, wavetable-based synthesizer like you might find in a software product like Native Instruments' Massive. It will not replicate physical instruments like strings or flutes very convincingly. Synthesis-wise, it's creamy but not horribly advanced. I'd go as far as to call it rudimentary: no onboard effects, no polyphony, and only a couple modulation options without adding additional hardware modules.

What is it good for? In my opinion, the better the keyboardist you are, the more excellent it becomes. If you have sharp right-hand technique, know a bit of music theory, and have rhythm, you can absolutely kill it with this synth. Listen to James Blake's remix of Destiny's Child's 'Bills' (under his alias Harmonimix). Hear those funky, almost organ-y bass riffs he throws on top of everything? THAT'S what a machine like the LPhatty can do. If you can really run your right hand while juicing around the mod wheel with your left, you'll have a blast.

If you are just looking for a machine that will make amazing sounds when you press one key and play around with some knobs and faders, you should either buy a full featured virtual analog like the Novation Ultranova, which will give you a wider sound palette (and the ability to play chords!) but won't have that creamy analog sound, or you can jump up in price dramatically to get a polyphonic analog synth with lots of modulation capabilities.

Also: I gave it four stars because it's so damn expensive. I'm thrilled to own it, but I've gotten HOURS of fun and creative joy out of tools that cost a fraction of the price. Even for the quality that is Moog, you're probably adding $200 just for the Moog pedigree alone.

This synth is a powerhouse! If you want to create sounds that are unique to the sound you are after that arent canned then this is the machine to accomplish this. I love this synth because its so intuitive. You will have a ton of fun playing with and experimenting with this Moog Synth.

This synthesizer CRANKS!! Out of all the synthesizers that I have owned, this definitely had the best bang for your buck. People say it's good for its bass tones, but it's good for everything! I bought a used one for $1100 and I have never been so happy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It's good for just messing around on but also GREAT for gigs. It has such a smooth feel to it and creates the most incredible tone. It's small and compact on the outside, but enormous on the inside.

This little synthesizer is a powerhouse! With 100 factory presets to start with and tweak even synth newbies can enjoy this equipment. The controls are very intuitive and amazing to use. If you use volume control pedals with the control voltage outs you can also control filters, volume, pitch, and modulation which makes for amazing control and even better performances. If you are looking for an analog synth that can be replicated but never equaled, do yourself a favor and buy this gear. What are you waiting for if you're looking, you know you want it!

Alright, I want to start by saying I DON'T own this. However, I have played it for a few hours at a band mates house. I have to tell you that this IS my next synthesizer.

It took me about 2 minutes to get my barrings before I was making some awesome sounds. I have not toyed with the presets, just not my style, so I can't speak to their quality. However, if you are looking for a piano keyboard, you should probably look else where. There is one thing that I took me a moment to figure out. There are only 4 knobs on the whole unit. When you hit a button, Decay for example, it shows current setting on the knob. You turn the knob and the light around the knob displays the current setting. As is standard of analog synths you can hold down the key and hear the change. The only thing that was slightly confusing was that only 1 lit button at a time will display. The other buttons and changes are active. It was just a momentary confusion.

Pros:

1. The keyboard feels quality and nice on my fingers. I prefer the non-weighted/non-hammer keys. If that is your preference, this until simply doesn't have it.

2. I am playing Industrial, Future Pop and Synth Metal music. The analog sounds I am getting from this is second to none. I will have this teamed with my vintage Yamaha DX-21 for live shows.

3. Ease of Use. I have tried many synthesizers and none have been as easy to use or understand. There is a learning curve to all of them but this is the easiest I have worked with. I have played on $3000 Nord's and Roland Fantoms. They can't reproduce THIS sound and have a much steeper learning curve than the Little Phatty.

Cons:

1. I wouldn't suggest this for a general use keyboard. If you are looking at synthesizers you should know this but I feel it should be said.

2. I imagine, unless you are playing the same style of music you will find the Little Patty a noise maker more than an instrument.

Overall, I really like the Little Phatty. Saying I would purchase it is a strong recommendation on my part.

There's a reason why they call this the best VJ program out there.

Being able to mix between multiple videos and still have some margin for additional effects is amazing. I heavily use the color-selective mixing to blend videos together much better than just fading from one to the other (this ignores black backgrounds)

The lack of item description here had me concerned, but I figured it wouldn't hurt. After all, this program is a steal at $400
