I bought this cord to attach my iPhone to the car Aux port. This was about the 3rd cord I had been through with the previous cords being cheaper alternatives that end up getting shorts in them near the connector ends. So far I am very pleased with this cord. You can tell its higher quality (though affordable) than the cheaper alternatives out there. Length is perfect for my use and the connector ends are large enough to be sturdy, but small enough to fit in the phone with a case on.

I purchased this right before a road trip and it has worked out perfectly! I used it to connect my car radio to my Droid smartphone. The sound quality is great and it's a good length for a car. The jack is also slim, which might help for large phone covers. Also, delivery was very quick! A good buy for a great price!!I was looking for this kind of cable to hook my Ipod Nano to my Toyota Yaris stereo system. I found very flimsy cables that were very expensive. Then I came across this one, the price is low, the cable itself is sturdy and thick which will prevent it from breaking and fraying, and the most important part; it works great. I was worried that because the iPad isn't charging while hooked up to the stereo that it would drain the battery and I'd run out of juice mid-playlist, but I was wrong. Using the iPod function hooked up to the stereo for HOURS only used about 3% of the battery. (Anyone reading this who uses the iPad for books will understand why I'd worrybooks drain the battery WAY faster than the iPod function.) My advice to anyone looking to hook up an iPad to a home stereocheck to make sure you have the appropriate input hole in your stereo, then skip all the expensive gee-gaws and doo-dads and buy this cord. I got this cable after having gone through 3 others within a short period of time. So far this one has lasted longer than the any of the other three have. I use this in my car for listening to my iPod Touch, so it's constantly being plugged and un-plugged. The sound is good. The cable is fairly thick and sturdy so it hasn't shorted out like the others did.

I just got a new (used) car and was delighted to find an auxiliary jack in the stereo! I immediately went online to try to find an appropriate cable so I could play my ipod in the car. I already have one of those cables that allow you to "broadcast" over an FM radio station, but frankly, you're *always* listening to static with your tunes using those.Having purchased another Griffin product some months ago, I was quite excited to see that they offered exactly what I was looking for. This cable isn't a million feet long (and who needs that really? you end up having to find a way to coil everything you're not using out of the way) but the "spring-coil" design allows it to stretch a bit if necessary. The plugs are secure and you get perfect sound. An EXCELLENT purchase for an excellent price!

I bought this cable so I could listen to my Zune HD 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Black) in my car. It works perfectly and the sound quality is excellent. The coiled design makes this cable very compact; I am able to store it along with my Zune in a small drawstring pouch without it becoming tangled. If you're expecting the cable to uncoil to the full 72", you'll probably be disappointed. I can't really imagine it uncoiling all the way without the jack(s) being pulled out from one or both ends. However, I only need the cable to reach from the dashboard to the driver/front passenger seats so the length of the cable is not an issue for me.Overall, I'm very happy with this product. It serves its purpose and provides a good connection and excellent sound quality.

Works well plugging your IPod into the aux outlet to your cars radio head unit. The coiled wire construction gives the length you need without stringing wire all over the place.The plugs themselves are molded to the wire ends assuring good performance and durability. I use it daily, plugging and unplugging frequently and it shows no signs of wear or fatigue and it continues to put the music right where it belongs. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I think the price mark is a tiny bit pricey. Other than that...It's great !

Bought for Motorola Droid because company's website stated it was compatible for this phone. I've had problems since day 1 of sound playing, then cutting out (as if plug came out of phone, but it doesn't). I have to twist and push on the end plugged into phone to get it to produce sound through car speakers again, only to experience same issue a few minutes later. Too much of a headache and will search for a replacement. My son's ITouch works fine with it though. Don't recommend getting for anything but IPod devices.

I play exclusively in my home studio. Because my style varies from classic rock to blues and country, I rarely use more than 1 effect at a time (don't want to mash up my sound). Therefore, this works for me. Readers might be interested in this: I ran this box in line with a Tech21 Blonde Fender amp modeling pedal direct into the board and it works like a charm. If you have an amp or modeling pedal, you can use the drive and/or reverb from that source in combo with the effects on this pedal.All in all, I am very pleased with this product. Another fine Line 6 device. As for the 1 effect at a time it is what it is and, knowing that upfront, didn't take away points. Look, guys,there is always a "work-around". Right?

I bought the M5 to replace a number of pedals I tended to use one at a time (including a Line 6 FM4 synth unit). I reasoned that if the M5 could dial up these same effects, I could downsize my board and all would be well.From a sound perspective no problem. As with all Line 6 products, the patches are all excellent. If I had to use just one pedal for studio work, this would be it.
Live performance is another story. It just isn't possible to switch between presets effectively by scrolling up or down. The combination of the oddly reversed "up" and "down" footswitches and the weak LED display makes it impossible to use this pedal onstage unless you only use 2-3 patches per set, which pretty much defeats the purpose of owning it. My bandmates got irritated with the time it took between songs to dial up the requisite patch, which is understandable, since it's unprofessional.
I decided to sell mine on eBay and buy an M9, which gives you six presents at the tap of a button and a variety of "scenes" (i.e. "banks")of effects. It's not just that the M9 is worth the extra money it is it's just that the M5 is unusable for this stage musician.

I'm probably one of the few that are using this unit for a bass guitar, 4 string that is. Took long consideration to buy or not to buy, at the end of the day all I needed was a tuner and a compressor. After doing the math it equalled in price so why not. Not regretting this at all, although 100+ effects even for guitar sound a lot, and mostly is marketing buzz. After dialling through the effect banks it becomes obvious most of it is filler material and essentially of little use practically, you never really need more then a handful of distinct effects, especially in a live setting, and really that's all you get here too. Most of what makes up the set of 100 are variations of the same thing, and it even gets less when you consider using a bottom end instrument with it. Regardless, what's left are a handful of high quality effects, 24 bit sampling takes care of that. So, other then pulling out exotic sounds here's what ended up in my custom setup for daily gigging:Tube Compressor nice warm compression, works well for a bass guitar
Couple of EQ settings to bring out the bottom end/mid ranges and cut off treble, some EQ type choices here which are very nice
Pitch Shifter half step down, switching instantaneously to Eb blues tunes
Pitch Shifter full step down, for some more tuned down songs
Plus a great tuner, at the end there's no reason to complain, very nice, compact and sturdy unit, even comes with a power supply, which will cost you extra with a pick and choose stomp box setup. So while I think I was gambling a bit here I definitely feel like a winner.
I have an all-analog board and was reluctant to have anything digital on it based on past experience with modelers. I was wrong to worry; digital has come a long way. Almost all of the effects sound great to my ear, especially into a tube amp. True bypass means no tone suck to boot.
High points for the delays, reverbs, and mods. I am not a fan of all of the drives but the Overdrive and Boost Comp sound pretty awesome. The Rat model "Classic Distortion" sounds exactly like my ProCo Rat2. Wish I could say the same for the Big Muff model but I guess they couldn't get them all right.
The only issue is I liked it so much I could not resist the urge to get the M9 so I can run three effects simultaneously. However, if you need a pedal to fill in for those times when you need a certain single effect the M5 is a winner.

This is the first headset I've been completely happy with. Previously, I struggled with ear pads that were small and uncomfortably hard along with microphones that could not be adjusted properly.
I no longer struggle.

Like the other customer, I too am unable to use this product as it doesn't include the adapter and I had no idea I needed one. I have an important project due in 2 days and am disappointed that, after having this producted overnighted, I am unable to use it. This information needs to be added to the product description. I'm sure this is a very good product. I'm just unable to tell.Been happy with this headset. The foam earcushions were a bit tight and brittle, so, as a public service for others buying this product, be patient and careful slipping them on. I have contacted Sennheiser and other suppliers: Nobody seems to know where I could get a replacement pair. Other than that, the headset works great and has improved my presence on my teleconferences.I've been using this for about six weeks. It replaced a cheap $20 unit that had one earpiece and a boom mike that had inadequate pickup.First, the earpieces. I'd heard that some folks had complaints about these things being delicate and difficult to replace. It came with two extras. The sound quality in the earpieces is phenomenal. It is LOUD! I have to turn down the volume on my phone all the way usually. In the occasional situations where someone calls me with a really weak voice, I can turn up the sound and no problem. So the sound that the earpieces produce is nothing short of outstanding.
Second, the boom mike. I tested it with several folks who said good things about the sound quality. It seems best with the mike about two inches from my mouth.
Third, the headset comfort. My only complaint about the performance of this thing is that the padding on the headset (i.e., where the frame touches your head) is inadequately padded. It could use some more padding. It would be nice if it were padded all across the top of the frame, instead of being padding-free in the middle. So its comfort suffers somewhat because of this. If I wore it all the time, this would be a bigger deal. Fortunately, I only put it on when talking on the phone, so this is less of an issue for me.
Note that you MUST buy a separate piece in order for this to work for you! This unit will NOT plug into your phone. You need to buy an adapter that plugs into your phone. Exactly which one is appropriate for you depends on the phone. For me, I needed a CCEL-191 headset cable ($22.18), which works fine.
Overall, while this thing is really pretty pricey, I'm quite happy with it.After reading the product description I was under the impression that this headset was compatible with most telephones and call center devices as it came in the box. Not so. You need to obtain an adapter for your specific telephone. No where in the description does it tell you that.
Until I find this adapter I am unable to use this headset and be in posiition to evaluate its performance.

For the money, this product far exceeded my expectations. Providing two types of outputs and the amplification needed to convert those old albums to a output level that I could accurately recorded them with my computer's sound card. The Rolls VP29 hooked up easily and works great. The fact that it has RCA as well as headphone jack outputs is a great feature, and RIAA curve adjustment for optimal sound quality coming from your record player. I also liked that it has a screw for my record player to be grounded to a feature that not all preamps I've looked at had.All together a failry good looking (in a techie way), compact design that most importantly sounds great.
*update* hooked up the VP29 directly to my line-in jack on my laptop (MacBook Pro) and got a clean, full digital copy of my vinyl beautiful. Great buy so far.

This phono preamplifier worked well enough to allow me to access 33 LP records being played on my Dual record player. Since the Dual record player was just the player, i.e. no preamplifier, my record collection was virtually useless to me. I purchased this as an early xmas gift for my Grandmother who just doesn't understand how to use the full rack Denon Stereo my Grandfather purchased. A few years after his death she got a Bose Wave radio/CD player and likes it and actually uses it, but misses the vinyl in her collection. I chose the Rolls because it was small, had no dials or buttons to confuse her and I wasn't willing to pay too much for a better sounding preamp when she doesn't have the best hearing anymore (she's 84 now). It works well to connect her Denon turntable to the Bose and she seems happy with the simplicity. I personally found it to be a tad noisy and missing the clarity and depth of soundstage of my Cambridge Audio Azur 540p (phono preamp)linking my 1976 hotrodded Thorens TD 166 to my Cambridge Audio Azur 640a (amplifier)through NSM 5se's and Energy 15" sub. The Rolls is a nice solid unit that works well for the average user who occasionally pulls out a record now and then, and certainly superior to those "retro" looking oak radio/turntable combo's aimed at the nostalgic but tragically misinformed consumer, but I would not use this to pair up a serious turntable like a Thorens, Dual, Raga Pro-ject etc. to a serious receiver (and no, Sony doesn't count here.) This is for the average Joe, which is fine, because there are lots of Joe's and Joanna's out there that need to groove to their vinyl now and then, but this is not for the discerning listener and audiophile. I would give it one star more if all readers here understood beforehand that this is not a serious hi-fi unit, but I'm giving it three stars because it is in fact OK for the average Joe. If you're not too picky and just need to play some records now an then, go for it. But if you aspire to serious hi-fi and want a starter unit, I would save up another $50 bucks and go for the Cambridge Audio Azur 540p ore even $110 more for the 640p. Also, make note this Rolls is ONLY for Moving Magnet cartridges or perhaps some really high output Moving Coil cartridges like a Denon DL 160 (but then again if you're looking at a Denon DL160, you certainly want to be spending at least $150 on a preamp, period!) Hope that helps you in your decision.

I'm using this to connect 3.5mm microphone cables to the 2.5mm input jack on the Panasonic GH2 digital camera. It's been working just fine in that role. It's a little pricey compared with some other adapters, but my understanding is that not all adapters will transmit the mic signal (as opposed to just stereo audio signals). Does not output stereo sound. In fact, just to get sound in both earplugs you have to half-way insert the plug. Doing this puts both stereo signals in both ears but the signals are not separated left from right (stereo).1) those with cords can eventually get a short, so see if you can tell the size and durability of the cord. Some of the less expensive ones are flimsy and short out quickly. The retractable ones are convenient in that you can adjust the length, but they (for me anyway) ALWAYS short out, it's just a matter of days vs months if they're good.
2) do you want the adapter to have an angle. I wanted a straight one (because of the location of my plug), but couldn't find a straight one with good reviews at the time I was looking.
3) be sure the length of the jack--male part--is not too long or short, and that the plastic surrounding it isn't going to get in the way. Unfortunately most sites don't specify jack length and you have to depend on customer reviews for this.
4) along the same lines, know whether you need two rings or three.

I really like the look of these ear buds and they fit in my ears nicely and are quite comfortable. Unfortunately that is the only good qualities they have. They are without a doubt the worst sounding ear buds I have ever heard. I bought a cheap MP3 player to take to work and got these hoping to replace the fairly lame ones that come with the player. These actually are much, much worse than the ones that came with it. I ordered this expecting at least mediocre audio fidelityWhen i got it, the packaging had already been opened even though they were brand new.
Both of the lines caused high fuzz and interference and rendered them useless.
I did get a full refund along and was able to keep the broken product.
If you can stand the fuzz, these technically will work, but maybe I just got unlucky.
