we looked around for a lot of karaoke machines and this one definately delivered. Exactly what we were looking for. Right price, plays regular CD's and karaoke Cd's and displays the words, also you can switch it to camera and you can watch yourself! Big hit with the kids and at parties. It's portable and easy to use. Great buy!

We are really disappointed with this product. The b/w screen kept going in and out of focus making it impossible to read the lyrics or view the screen. Clearly there is a product defect. For this reason I do not recommend buying any products from this company.

Unfortunately, this was our "big" present to our 10 year old from Santa. So we are unhappily sending it back to the workshop so that maybe the elves can fix it.

This was the main gift for our eight year old daughter. We opened it, plugged it in and the cd driver wouldn't open. On top of that, the sound didn't work on the microphone. We tried to return or exchange the product, but Sky Box wouldn't do it because we had bought the month before...of course we had never opened it. We bought it for Christmas & let it sit until then. Emerson still hasn't contacted us back to let us know what to do with it. We'll NEVER shop Sky Box again! RUN don't walk AWAY from this product.

The singing machine with the monitor and the video camera is really a good little product. The karaoke machine works great. The video camera part of the machine is so, so. When you play the words on the small monitor, the picture shakes on occassion causing you to lose your place when you're singing. It is better to play the words on a large tv (which is what we normally do). The video camera part is kind of boring because you can either see yourself on the screen OR read the lyrics of the song not both. You have to set it up so that you read the lyrics on the monitor and people can see you on a big screen. We found that after a while the monitor feature is boring and useless. We always end up using the machine the plain, simple way(using it only for playing the cd's and showing the lyrics on a tv screen.) It's a good little karaoke machine lightweight, very portable and compatible with almost all karaoke cdg's with the exception of the ones at Best Buy. For the money, it's a great little machine.

I bought this to replace a Memorex, which lasted about 5 years. I had some initial problems such as the microphone didn't connect and when I sang, the music faded in & out both these problems worked themselves out with use. Now working fine the only problem remaining is the dials are hard to see. This machine is Okay for the price its hard to fine a better machine if you want a portable one with a built in screen and a price around $100

This cable would be OK for a set of headphones but you should not use it in the signal path between a source device, like an MP3 player or computer, and an amplifier. The shielding is so poor in this cable that it will pickup a considerable amount of 60Hz EMI (aka hum) and you won't like the results.

I bought this cable to connect my high-end Dell portable computer to the Sony pre-amplifier unit of my home entertainmenet system. I wanted to use my portable as an MP3 player since it's a lot easier to program and create playlists on a 17" computer screen than any of the portable MP3 players I've seen. When I had everything hooked up I experienced a very noticeable hum from my stereo speakers even before starting the player application on the computer. At first I thought I had a ground loop so I removed all other external cables (power, usb, ethernet) from the computer, running it on battery only. Still the hum persisted. Even with the AUD-1100-25 cable unplugged from the computer the hum persisted.

I then replaced the AUD-1100-25 with a pair of RCA cables w/ RCA to 1/8" stereo adapters and the hum went away. The RCA cables were hand-made with some quality shielded cable with the connectors hand-soldered by me. What a difference. So, that's what I ended up using.

Although I think Monster Cables and the like are a way over-priced, this product has gone too far in the other direction. I don't recommend this item if you're going to use it in an application that will amplify the signal (and noise) coming through the cable. It's easy to see why this cable is so cheap.

I use this to connect my laptop to my tv when I watch downloaded shows. It works well.

Whenever the cable bends near the connector the audio crackles. Tried with different cable and it doesn't crackle. I wish I got a higher quality cable.

**update** Crackling is tolerable if you don't move the cable near the connectors. Works but not highest quality. added 1 star to 3 stars.

Worked fine for a little under three months. Now when the cable is flexed at the connector's strain relief point some of the audio cuts out.

Well, this cable is what it is. If you're looking at one of these you probably already know why you need it, what you might use it for, etc..

It is a nice long cable for a nice low price. The insulation on the cable is as thin as it appears in the picture, but that's how these cables usually are; that shouldn't really impact the sound quality anyway. (Well, it won't impact the sound quality any more than the difference in using a 1-foot compared to a 25-footer would impact your sound quality, for example). Personally, i use the cable to connect my laptop's sound card to a stereo system for amplification when i'm out in the kitchen with the laptop playing tunes while i cook or whatnot.

I absolutely love this keyboard. The built-in "song trainer" is quite helpful, teaching you the song one hand at a time and then both hands. While the built-in songs are your typical public-domain fare (e.g. Canon in D, Turkey in the Straw, Ode to Joy, etc.), they are still fun to learn and play. The USB port on the piano also lets me plug the keyboard into my MacBook with a USB cable (not included) and play/record music in GarageBand. Also, I've been shopping around and it's hard to find a beginner's keyboard with touch-sensitive keys at this price.

I take away one star due to the misleading picture. I want to note that while the Amazon image shows a keyboard stand, an AC adapter, and headphones with connector adapter, this model number of the LK220 does not include *any* of those items. Only the keyboard came in the package. Only packages with the model number LK220 PPK and LK220 AD include at least an AC adapter. This meant that I had to run on AA batteries until my AC adapter came in. But I got the keyboard at a great price, even without the AC adapter, so I'm still happy with this keyboard.

It's a very simple keyboard, no doubt about it. But on the other hand, it is very easy to learn and navigate your way into actually playing this keyboard. I wouldn't plan on putting it in a studio or on a stage. But, I bought it for my little girl and we both love it. It's a lot of fun and very easy to learn with. Would recommend to any learner or parent for their child. Sounds nice too. The only drawback this keyboard has is that it doesn't come with an AC adapter. But I still give it five stars.

I have been pleased with this drum kit since the moment I got it. It shipped to me quickly and nothing was damaged when I unpacked it. The pads are responsive and the sound is clear with plenty of volume. The pad tops are durable and made to last. The compact size is perfect for my needs and I couldn't be happier for the all around value and price.

While this kit won't replace a higher end electronic drum setup, it offers some unexpected features we love. It also has drawbacks. My 11-year-old grandson has the summer off from his drum lessons, but wanted to practice regularly and learn some new songs. This set seemed the best bet for that and we are pleased. It didn't take him long to figure out how to use the controls to set the configuration he wanted and he especially liked the provided loops with timer that allowed him to quickly learn and play along with these relatively simple routines. That gave him a boost in confidence to try more complex things.

Out of the box, we used the AC adapter to plug the unit into an outlet because we didn't have the necessary 6 C batteries on hand. Once we buy those he'll enjoy having the set more portable. I worried that it would be too loud and possibly annoying to listen to so I had some headphones on hand for him to use (you need ones with a fairly long cord to reach from the back of the unit under or around it thus out of the way and to the user), but we never plugged those in because it is more pleasant to listen to than expected and of course there are volume controls. We downloaded a song he knew onto my iPhone and started that so he could play along. He set the volume so it matched the playing song and did pretty well.

His major complaint was that occasionally a drum head doesn't sound as it should which would distract his rhythm. You do need to hit them 'just so' to get the response. I guess when you're used to a full size kit, it's a bit awkward to hit these small pads consistently and in the right place. There are 'dead spots' at the edges of the pads and sometimes when he hit two pads at once in a faster riff, one might not sound. That might have been a product of his inexperience, but it's something to think about if you expect to use this kit for more than practice and play.

As a listener, I thought the cymbals and some other sounds should have more reverb than they did, but that may be something you can set. There are a lot of options for settings.

The thing that ended up entertaining us all for a long time and was totally unexpected was that in addition to the many choices for drum set sounds, there are over a hundred other sounds to choose from. Everything from explosions, thunder, various animal sounds, laughter, footsteps, a creaking door, an eerie scream to car sounds and convincing war sounds. You can set each pad and pedal separately and save the configuration just like you can with the drum set sounds, so my young drummer ended up creating sets to match stories he made up and then punctuated them in the telling with various sounds. That was a lot of fun.

Bottom line: It was easy and fast to set the unit up initially using one of several preconfigured drum set combinations assigned to the pads and pedals that are pretty standard, I guess, as he was able to instantly identify which pad represented which corresponding drum set piece and was satisfied with the sounds, but I was amazed at the options available to set things up to suit specific needs. He had no trouble figuring out how to do this without the instructions and spent hours at it, making up stories to punctuate with sound effects as well as playing along with provided loops and demos and real songs playing on other media. If he sticks with his lessons he'll need a higher end set than this, but for now this is fine and decent value for the price.

I purchased this product after watching the video review and it is just what I was looking for. Works great as a MIDI drum set with Garageband: just plug it in using a USB cable, add a software drum track, and you're good to go. It has a nice feel and a good size for setting it up in the studio or taking it anywhere. The item was packaged & handled properly and the shipping was very fast. Well worth the money.

We have been playing with this thing for 3 months and loving it. Sturdy unit with many sounds and features! Can be used for laying down professional tracks or jamming!! My 4 year old has just starting playing around using the demo songs and metronome he adjusts to his liking but does have his favorite. he is learning on his own i cant touch it when he has the sticks he counts along with it and has it and has it down he is teaching me now "LOL".. the pedals the bass and high-hat are right where you need them perfect sensitivity . Musicians and non musicians has spent time with ours and can not stop once they get started..its so easy exploring all the features i see unlimited creative possibilities ,many hours of fun well worth the price great product... studio quality sound very durable!!

No regrets here.

I bought this item to use as a recording tool feeling it might give more of a live feel to some drumming parts that needed more than just a loop behind it....whlie the drum tones sound very good for the most part and being able to assign whichever tone I want to each individual pad is nice, the overall experience was only four stars to me because it has an annoying habit of skipping a beat or cymbal here or there... you can adjust the sensitivity of the pads but if you do something aggressive on it and you don't hit the pad just right it will skip or miss which makes it impossible to record with..be warned!
