Let me preface by saying these cables are the perfect length for fitness. I vigorously exercise (think Crossfit and beyond) at least 5-6 days a week, and wear my Ipod on my upper bicep. I route the cable under my sleeve and up the collar to prevent snagging and bouncing. This setup has worked very well for me for the last 5 years or so. I've gone through about 5-6 of these cables over the last 5 years and I'm on my 3rd pair of Shure earphones (SE115, 2x SE210). Considering the amount of use, the sweat dripping in and on, bumps, etc... they have all lasted well beyond my expectations and are well worth the money. This works for audio BUT not with an iPhone earbuds for volume or a Square CC terminal. The pin DOES fit even with my case on my iPhone BUT it is 3 pin rather than 4.Want Shure EAC9BK 9 inch Earphone Extension Cable Discount?

This little amp is your basic home practice combo amp. It has your CD input and all the distortion and clean controls. The distortion is not great, but the clean is excellent. However, if you want to get the most out of your amp, plug in your headphones. The amp works wonders on that aspect. Everything you play from clean to distortion sounds pretty good to excellent. It's not the best amp in the world, but it does what it does. For the longest time I had a small Peavey practice amp which served me well for almost ten years before it died a natural death. I then started looking for a suitable replacement and I came across this Crate which after more than a year of use has done more than what I was expecting from an amp this price and this size. The clean tone sounds great and while the amp distortion isn't the best that I've heard it is still acceptable. I usually use this amp with the clean tone attached to my Muff distortion pedal plus tuner and compressor and/or analog delay. The sound is steady and so far after more than a year I cannot find anything to really complain about for what I use it for. It is what I expected. What more can you ask? It's actually much lighter in weight than the crate amps I had twenty years ago. Excellent clean channel. If you like it loud, you will love this amp. I bought this amp and it has served me well. The only thing I hate is how the overdrive is so....god awful. But the clean is beautiful. All you have to do is get some effects pedals and your set. If you can only afford under $100, get this. If you have more money invest in something else.

I'm using this to connect 3.5mm microphone cables to the 2.5mm input jack on the Panasonic GH2 digital camera. It's been working just fine in that role. It's a little pricey compared with some other adapters, but my understanding is that not all adapters will transmit the mic signal (as opposed to just stereo audio signals). Make sure the adapter fits your needs before plunking down the cash, but if you're looking for a mic adapter for a camera with a 2.5mm input, this should work well.I knew going in it might not work with a Motorola w408g, inserting it all the way in I only had sound in the right ear, pulling it out of the phone a little I would have stereo sound in the headphones, so I epoxied 2 thin washers over the male end of the adapter and it works great. see picture.Want Hosa GMP-467 Right Angle Female TRS 1/8-Inch to Sub-Mini 2.5mm TRS Male Adapter Discount?
Does not output stereo sound. In fact, just to get sound in both earplugs you have to half-way insert the plug. Doing this puts both stereo signals in both ears but the signals are not separated left from right (stereo).

The G1x is superceded by the new G1xn. The presests are all different between the two units, but a few have a certain similarity of sound. Although it's a matter of taste, I think that I like the presets better for the G1x over those of the G1xn. The G1x tends more toward classic guitar heros, whereas the G1xn presets tend to be more modern. But, both units cover the range from Beatles to Metallica to some extent.
