I owned the Mixtrack, Mixtrack Pro, and now the Mixtrack Pro II. Let me tell you that Numark never ceases to amaze me with their products. The drum pads are just incredible. You can do almost anything with you, and if you know how to map, you can literally do ANYTHING with them. THey're also backlit. Which is awesome for club/party atmospheres. If you used the Mixtrack, or Mixtrack Pro, the platters will be a little different feeling, but you'll get it in no time. They're a tiny bit shallower and move a little different (maybe they need to be broke in). I've dropped mine multiple times, and not even a scratch, so the plastic it's made of is extremely durable. Last but not least, it comes with Virtual DJ LE. I suggest upgrading to VDJ pro, because it opens up a whole new world of DJing with this thing. Bottom line best budget controller out there. I recommend it to anyone starting off, or even pro's that have been DJing for a long time!

This is used in a club by a professional DJ with many years of experience mixing. If I were to use it in a club with 400500people then I would pay more and upgrade, however they work the say. It is used in a club with about 100 customers on a Friday and another 100 on Saturday evening... very good. Also good for weddings, private parties... I used the first version of this board for two years with no issues. I've only used this for two weeks and I can tell that the quality of sound is even better. It works with Serato and now a download on Numarks site allows for Virtual DJ Pro (which I use), and it works perfect with both! Enjoy.

This is a great mixer, has most of the important functionality. Doesn't have gain knobs/kill function, but still a good mixer overall.

I would recommend this to all beginner or pro with a tight budget.

Pros:

Simple to use as long as you utilize the manual properly.

Has advanced enough features that any level of DJ's can use it and throw an excellent gig.

Easy to set up, quick and simple.

It includes an entry-level software, however, it is excellent and has all the necessary features.

Sturdy, hard plastic, pads and buttons are quick and easy to use.

Very much worth the money.

Spinners are excellent, heat-sensitive.

Cons:

As mentioned earlier, the software it comes with is entry-level but that is to be expected.

Though the plastic is good and sturdy, the fact that it's plastic is a con nonetheless.

Excellent product. I'm a beginning DJ and have done two very successful parties with it paired with a couple of 15" powered speakers and was definitely very impressive. Highly recommend this product.

Love this controller but I gave it 3 stars because it's supposed to come with serato intro and it didn't. I didn't care much because I'm used to virtual DJ and like it, however if a product states that I'm getting a controller with a software, I expect to receive just that and nothing less. So if you purchase this product make sure you don't get short changed with the software. Other than that, the controller's performance is great! It's pretty easy to use once you get used to it and you also get a lot of the same features from more advanced controllers on this one. You get your money's worth for sure.

The sound quality is great on these headphones, but the design is really bad. It doesnt seal good because all the pressure is on the top of the cup and the speakers end up hurting your ears. Goodluck trying to wear these for more than 20 minutes without your ears hurting.

I judged the merits of this headset by these factors: (1) sound, (2) comfortability, (3) appearance, (4) durability/quality, and (5) price/value.

(1) Sound: 3/5.

It's not that greatit's OK. It handles bass reasonably well (for the price, anyway) and didn't muffle much out. I still use them every now and then because they get the job done. I would NOT use these if I were listening to anything serious or if I was doing studio work, and you wouldn't want to be caught dead at a nightclub with these, but if you're doing a low-key party or you're practicing DJing (or even if you're jogging on a treadmill!) these headphones will do the job well.

(2) Comfortability: 0/5.

No, not 1 star or 2 stars0 stars. The headset unfortunately has a pretty poor design, where the tension is placed only in the middle of the headband, so the headset fits very awkwardly around your head. In fact, you have to make sure that the headband is sitting BEHIND your neck, just so the earpieces stay ON your ears. It's not very comfortable, and honestly, this reason alone should make you want to consider other headphone options.

(3) Appearance: 4/5.

Now, I own a pair of Beyerdynamics and THOSE look awesome, but these ones aren't too bad either in looks. They're dark black. Over time, though, they kinda fade into an awkward grey...

(4) Durability/quality: 2/5.

It's been a year and a half since I've had these headphones, and you can tell that they're deteriorating. The joints that attach the earpieces to the headphones aren't broken, but they've loosened up a bit. The actual speakers in the earpieces are starting to crackle a bit, and the paint's fading. I don't even use them very rigorously..

(5) Price/value: 5/5.

They're cheap. $30-35. You can't go wrong buying these if you're looking to spend under $50 on some headphones. They'll last you a little while but they won't give too muchthat is, of course, because you're not paying too much to begin with. If you're looking to get serious with music, whether you're listening to tracks of yourself practicing acoustic guitar or you're mashing up electronic music, you're probably better off dropping at least $90-100 on some good headphones.

Conclusion: if you're looking for cheap headphones that give you the very basic sounds from a song (i.e., lyrics, beat, etc.) then you might enjoy this headsetfor a short while. It's really not that great, and the construction is terriblebut for the price, it's a good value... for the short term, anyway. If you're looking for real quality headphones, look elsewhere.

These headphones are awesome. Clear, crisp highs. Clean lows without booming. Clean, flat response without adding or taking anything away from the music. The separation of the sound picture of music layers is clear. They can handle louder volume without distortion than most ears can handle. I even plugged them directly into the output of a guitar amp and they didn't stress @ low volume and when turned up just a bit gave a nice over-driven tube-amp sort of sound. I wouldn't recommend over-driving them because it may, or may not, stress out & damage the speakers, but they do work fine plugged directly into an amp's speaker-out for practice without using a cabinet. Yes, they are plastic, but if you handle them with the respect music equipment deserves then you should have no problem with breakage. The ear pieces are comfortable and swivel to a number of different positions adding a variety of ways to wear them for just about everyone's preference. I feel one would be hard-pressed to find a comparable set of headphones without spending at least another $100 $150 or even more, and then it still wouldn't be worth the extra dollars. I purchased these half off at a retail store for about $25. These head phones are a great deal even at the initial $50. As a music guru I use these a good hour a day.

The sound range is amazing, I've tested them from 30HZ to 16000KHZ, and, unlike other headphones they reproduce the sound perfectly.

The speakers in these headphone are of very high quality, you can pump allot bass out of these suckers without harming them. You could use them as regular speakers if your amp goes high enough.

These aren't noise canceling, but they do a good job of filtering out outside noise. You can hardly hear people talking right next to you when you are listening to music at low volume.

The design of these speakers is also good, however the adjusting mechanism is a little clunky, and they grip head rather tightly, though they are not uncomfortable.

Over all I am pleased with the design and sound quality of these headphones. They aren't Bose headphones, but also aren't $300. I would recommend purchasing them if you are looking for a set high quality DJ style headphones for under a $100.

I was excited to use these and they worked and sounded alright. After a month I notice that the black leather like material that surrounds your ears started to flake off. Very disappointing from a German product.

This Eden amp is one of the best amps that you will find out there. It is a touring standard among many excellent musicians. Don't let the watts fool you, this amp is very underrated and will perform beyond your expectations. I have run it with 2 410 cabs and a 118/410 combo with zero issues and never had to turn it up past halfway.

The semi parametric EQ allows you to really fine tune your tone. The built in compressor isn't the best, but does an adequate job for most situations.

One of my favorite things about the amp is that it is only takes up 2 rack spaces. I bought this amp to replace an Ampeg SVT-4 Pro and I don't regret it one bit. Out performs the Ampeg on all levels, especially the wattage in live situations, even though the Ampeg is "rated" higher.

I bought these even after seeing a lot of mixed reviews.

I bought these specifically for studio monitor headphones for my home PC recording system.

Let me say that these are great studio headphones, period.

The highs and mids cut through with perfect clarity with out being shrill. The Low end is less pronounced but it does produce the low end sounds too, however they do not produce a thumping booming boosted bass tone.

that being said, that is exactly the reason I bought them! I did not want added bass tones while recording, only to find out the bass is barley audible when played back on standard speakers.

These are clearly not the best studio headphones money can buy, but they are the best for the cost IMHO.

if you are buying these to listen to your iPOD or home stereo or DJ mix,..forget it, don't bother, you wont like them. If you are on a budget and in need of a pair of great studio monitor cans, these do the job well.

Bought the headphones to upgrade from those standard Apple in-ear headphones that come with ipods.

I'm no audiophile or headphone expert, but these headphones definitely sound really nice.

However, the fit isn't very good; they are to big for my head and I think they would also be too big for most other people.

The build quality isn't very good either. The plastic headband broke after four months, leaving them unusable.

The headphones are good. they cancel noise when music is playing, even at low levels but when no music is playing you can hear people, but muffled. The only issue is that i write rap/ hip hop and dub-step, so it is very bass heavy and has large bass drops. When these occour the speakers rattle and cut out the other sounds.

If looking for very comfortable, inexpensive headphones with no hiss, these will likely meet your needs.

I was primarily looking for comfort among closed headphones .. light, tightish to offer some sound enclosure but not too tight. I found a pair of Bose to be the most comfortable but they kept breaking and they are spendy for something that breaks easily (Bose was great at replacing them during the warranty period I should add).

These ATH-10 are very comfortable and are inexpensive enough that when they break it's no big deal. There is also no noticeable hiss, and they sound just fine to me for an inexpensive pair.

Since they are so inexpensive I assume the sound isn't that high quality, however, I'm not much of an audiophile so I would be a poor judge.

For not that much additional money the ATH-M20 is another you might consider, fairly comfortable and a step up in at least cosmetic build quality.

I received these today. I have several blue-tooth devices so it seemed a perfect fit. Seldom have I been so impressed by a piece of electronic gear. I already had a set of headphones for my iPhone/iPad and the sound quality is really good. But these headphones put my old ones to shame. They are that terrific.

As an old rock n' roller my tunes are quite important to me. I have a large selection of 60s & 70s music. These headphones rank as probably the best I've ever used bar none. And I grew up working in theatre and with rock bands that had commercial equipment costing tons of money. Nothing I've ever used had better audio quality than these phones.

But here's the clincher for me: in the middle of testing these out my sister called. Off went the music and Barbara was in my ear, clear and plenty loud and she could hear me fine. At the end of the call, the play button started the Eagles again.

Whatever you're looking for in a set of phones for your devices, you owe it to yourself to check these out.

They're worth every penny.

Before I start my review, I want to say thank you very much to Mike at Meelectronics for his excellent service and followup.

I have tried this headphone for 3 weeks and I'm loving everything about it. The battery life on it is very good as I can keep listening to music without having to charge it for a day and that's pretty impressive. I had two Bluetooth headphones and they usually last about 3-4 hours so comparing this to the Matrix, that's a big difference. Also, it has a neat function where it would auto turn off itself when it notices I'm not listening to any music or not using it at all.

The ear buds is another thing I'm surprised at because I wouldn't expect them to be that soft. Judging from the picture of the Matrix, I thought it would be slightly hard but it was soft like a marshmallow. However, you would need to take some time to position them well on your ears as you may feel uncomfortable if you were to listen or wear them for a long time. Since your ears may not be entirely inside the area so it would be good idea to properly put them on before using it.

The sound quality is awesome on these headphones and it has good volume of sound coming from it where I do not need to increase the volume that high to listen to it when I walk to my lectures. However, once awhile when I walk with them the sound would stutter for a few seconds so I'm not sure if it's my phone or headphone. The stuttering is not a big issue since it is only a few seconds and not frequent enough. Moreover, It wouldn't stutter if I were to sit down at one spot and listen to it so you may experience this if you were to walk with them.

I have no problems with connecting two phones on this headphone where one phone is for calls whereas the other for music.

Overall, if you're looking for a good Bluetooth headphone with good battery and sound then this is it for you. This headphone is worth every penny and you won't regret it.

These are great multi-purpose headphones. I'm using them to listen to music and instead of ear buds or an in-the-ear bluetooth device for talking on the phone. Today I used them for my radio show and the sound was great, clear, full range and more than loud enough. But to get a second opinion, I asked my son to check them out. He's a sound engineer who has multiple listings on IMDB for movies and network TV shows he does the sound for. He complimented them too.

The sound is excellent, the battery life decent and the controls easy to use and understand.

I also like that the remaining battery charge is shown on my iPhone.

I got these headphones for 89 and at that price they are an incredible deal. They are light and pretty comfortable. They dont press on ears too hard like some do. They do sound good and will sound great to the average consumer. For bluetooth headphones i guess they are even a good deal at the full price considering bigger brands are charging for the same quality. I have used beats wireless jabra revo wireless and these compare to them even though the others are over $200. I have also used the new beats studios and bowers and wilkins p5 both of which are $300. The $300 ones probably sound better and built better but if your not an audiophile save your money cause the difference is not that much in sound quality. Plus having no wires is a great thing and if the battery dies you can use a regular aux cable and use them as wired headphones which is a big plus to most people. I was surprised at the lightness of the headphones too, they are very lightweight.

I've owned this mic since 12/10 and the only problem I have had with it was when I used it in conjunction with the software that came with it. As a previous reviewer noted, the sound created with it was static-ey and not useable at all. Do not purchase this mic if you aren't using it with 3rd party software. Pro Tools SE is garbage. Better off using Adobe Audition, Sony Acid, or any other decent audio recording software. This mic is a bit heavy (which I like). It feels sturdy and nicely constructed. The stand is okay. I've used better. The carrying bag is, well, a bag.

I feel this mic has gotten a bad rap in other reviews. IT'S GOOD. Sound quality is GOOD. Yeah, some audiophile may tell you that it doesn't sound as well as mics that cost hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't expect it to. But I don't hear any noise. No hiss, no anything. Just my voice sounding CLEAR!

As stated above, DO NOT USE THIS MIC WITH THE INCLUDED SOFTWARE.

I bought this product primarily because of the microphone that comes with it, hoping to do some better quality recordings without the hassle (or expense) of having to buy the whole Mic/preamp/interface set, and after owning it for a while I can't complain.

The mic is good for what it says it is good for. It is good for recording vocals and a low to medium-high volume. It also works well for acoustic instruments (guitar, uke, Banjo...) If your intention is to record something extremely loud, such as a guitar/bass amp, this microphone does not perform well in that environment as it clips REALLY BADLY. It's not as good as some of the other mic's I have heard, but for the price it is a great value. Nothing you could get at this price range can come close to this, aside from maybe the Blue Snowball, which I have 0 experience with but have only heard good things about.

As an ambient mic recording a room full of people this mic works stunningly well. It is very sensitive and has very minimal buzz or hum, all of the buzz or hum can be easily equalized out. It is very sensitive to pops such as those resulting from the P or the B sound at the beginning of a word, and it does not come with a pop filter in the set which would have been nice but there are ones for like 20 dollars at guitar center... or you can use the 'ol stretched pantyhose over a coat hanger wire trick and that works well too.

Mic response is pretty bassy, and is very susceptible to the proximity effect. When you are right up to this microphone, any noise you make will rumble out of your speakers. This is good for some thing but it is annoying at other times. You need to make sure the singer/player stays relatively the same distance from the mic at all times, else their voice will change slightly in the recording.

The mic itself is very sturdy feeling my klutzy friends have dropped it, knocked it over and (in a weird case I would rather not explain) thrown it around... and it still preforms the same as it did when it was new. Though I would not recommend being rough with it intentionally.

The built in monitoring only works right in the included Pro Tools. All other DAW's treat it as just another audio interface, which works but is not ideal.

ProTools is not my DAW of choice. And the stripped down version that is included in this set is not very good. Registering is a NIGHTMARE, and once registered you must always have this mic plugged in even when you don't want to use it. This becomes nightmarish when you want to record using a different interface and have limited usb ports (such as on a laptop) or limited space, as is the case in many small home studios. The software itself is very usable, the stripped down version automated many of the most confusing aspects of big kid Pro Tools, and if this is your only option it is a very good choice, though many better options exist.

The included stand is tippy but its better than nothing, just make sure the mic is aligned with one of the feet and you should be ok...

Overall I would say that this is a good choice for someone looking for a good sounding mic on a budget.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I got this microphone for doing voice overs and also to try to record some friends of mine that have a small band going. So far the results have been pretty damn good. I have noticed that for voice though you have to get a bit close to the mic, it's meant to pick up all the sounds in the room, omnidirectional, so keep that in mind. I made a makeshift pop screen to ensure that there were no issues there and so far that has worked awesome as well.

The included software is garbage... but I kind of already knew that from all the other reviews. Hell, even using windows WAV recorder is better than the included software, lol.

I'm using this mic with Adobe sound booth and that has made my life extremely easy as all I have to do is record a section of background noise and then tell the program to remove the background noise from the recordings I do and I get nice clean audio without issue. The background noise isn't coming from the mic itself but from the fan I have in the room that I work in as well as the CPU fans. They can get pretty loud at times if I'm doing a lot of work and I see my temps in the case rising I do have to turn them up.

All in all, I do have to raise the gain slightly when doing voice overs but for the music/instruments it seems to be about spot on, which is what this mic is truly designed for.

Could it be better, well sure it could but then the price would also reflect that very same issue.

What it boils down to. You need to know your purpose for the mic. If it's voice overs, just order a directional mic that is designed for that, if you want to record groups singing or playing instruments or even a single person doing the same then get this mic. It does a pretty damn good job for the price.

I've been using this mic to record my voice and instruments for 2 years. I love it. It is an excellent microphone. The software that it comes with, however, is garbage. If you're getting a "hissing" type sound in the background or white noise, it's from the software, not the mic. I use this mic with Audacity (which is FREE) and my recordings come out sounding like cd quality.

This is going to be a pretty short and simple review because the one thing I bought this microphone for, it could not do. I bought this microphone for doing voice-overs on Youtube and from the get go had issues with the drivers. Eventually I got them installed and I thought everything would be fine. I was wrong. Basically I couldn't get the mic to produce sound that is audible without putting my face inches from the mic and boosting the audio to the point that I was completely incomprehensible. I scoured the internet for days looking for a solution to this mysterious problem. Eventually I gave up and returned it through Amazons FANTASTIC returns center for a full refund.

For people looking for an actual quality desktop microphone I highly recommend the Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone Silver Edition. The Blue Yeti costs about ~$15 more than this mic at the time of writing this review but it is worth every single penny. It is a much more generally high quality microphone in terms of production and has many more built in features such as a built in Mute and Gain adjustment right on the microphone. Also no drivers or software required to use it, plug it in and you're good to go. Overall I'd say if you want a microphone for voice-over/commentary, podcasts, or really anything I would recommend saving an extra $15 and getting the Blue Yeti instead.
