It's seems (from reading the reviews) that there is some confusion about the 3 rings on 2.5mm jacks.

I notice that nobody has commented on how well this adapter works with their headset/microphone! Here is the deal; you do NOT need 3 rings for stereo! (left channel + right channel = stereo) hence two rings, plus the common ground (the tip on all jacks)to create stereo.

The 3rd ring is for a standard classic over the head, or in the ear, WIRED HEADSET with microphone, like this one:KX-TCA60 commonly used on home cordless phones. But also work on your cell phone! (with the above adapter)

A generally MUCH BETTER sounding alternative to your lost bluetooth, or the one that needs charging that you can't use right now. BTW, although a wire can be a pain sometimes, you can't beat the price, sound quality, and always ready to go device. (quality varies by model)

Here is where it gets a little tricky. Some cell phones, like Motorola, and others have a slightly different 3 ring configuration. That is probably why some customers here have been having trouble getting stereo sound.

So assuming the product itself is not defective, it is more likely your model phone is the problem. You will need to check with the manufacturer to be sure.

last thoughts: I'm constantly misplacing my bluetooth, or forgetting to charge it. These inexpensive headsets are a "must have" for us folks that can't stand holding that cell phone up to our ear all day. Or a safer way to talk when driving (where allowed) when a bluetooth is not available. PLUS they are interchangeable with cordless land lines, and you do not need to "pair" your device!

I have a Huawei Ascend android phone and one of its few downfalls is that 2.5mm headphone jack. After trying Best Buy, Radio Shack, Guitar Center (i was desperate) and a few other places I finally found the correct adapter here at Amazon. If you have this phone. This is the correct adapter. I have an LG enV 2 and this allows me to play it into standard headphones and to play it into my home stereo using the common RCA adaptor. Combined with an 8GB micro SD card, the phone is now a great mp3 music source. Three ring is indeed the proper converter for the LG.

You really can't get a better turntable for this price. It wasn't broken or cracked when it arrived, it was easy to assemble, and it sounds great. For under 100 bucks that is more than I expected. The other cool thing about this turntable that is not in the description is that it's easily upgradeable. The turntable comes with a ATN3600L stylus. You can replace that stylus with the ATN3600DLX stylus for even better sound quality and performance. You can also get a better belt for it too but I haven't looked into that yet. It's not going to get any better than this until you hit about the $300 range.

I ordered this turntable so that I could (hopefully) listen to LPs I haven't been able to hear for the past 25+ years. (Old turntable broke; CDs were the "in" thing at the time, so I never replaced my old turntable). I'm not an audiophile as some are, plus I have hearing loss in one ear, so all I know is "Does it sound good?" Well, I can tell you that I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of sound that I heard from LPs that are old, and some not in the best of condition.

First, the set-up. I worried a bit about putting the belt on. (Did I also mention that I'm a klutz?) However, when the package arrived, I took everything out, read all the directions first, and within 2 minutes after that (that is not an exaggeration), I had the turntable set-up accomplished. It couldn't have been easier!

Initially, I hooked the turntable up to a pair of miniature speakers I bought for my iPod. I just wanted to make sure the records would play. I put the first album on the turntable, cleaned it with Discwasher cleaning kit, and pushed the Start button. I actually got tears in my eyes when I heard the LP play. Even with the miniature speakers, the music sounded pretty darn good. However, the miniature speakers do not have sound control, so I attached a pair of computer speakers (Altec). The music sounded even better. Today, I believe I'm going to bite the bullet and hook the turntable up to the stereo component (I still have one that has Phono input). I'm anxious to see what the music sounds like coming through a Bose speaker system.

Some reviewers commented on the short phono plugs that are permanently attached to the turntable. They are short, but 2 different types of extensions are shipped with the turntable, so I had no problem attaching my speakers, and I don't believe I'll have trouble when I attach the turntable to the stereo system.

I've only used this turntable one day (but I played albums for 4 hours last night!), so I can't comment on its longevity. However, based on what I experienced last night, I believe this turntable, especially for the price, is great. An FYI: This is the first review I've ever written for a product, so that says something about how I feel about this turntable.

Just got one of these shipped all the way to Austria, was worried for a couple of days that the voltage and cycle frequency difference would be a problem, but it's absolutely not so. In the meantime I exchanged emails with Audio Technica's service center and support, and got a prompt reply that it's a DC controlled unit, meaning that if it's not a 120V current where you live, a simple voltage converter is sufficient.

The sound just blew me away, I put the unit straight through a test of fire by running it into a professional audio interface with direct monitoring (no AD/DA conversion), and from that to a pair of active Genelec studio monitors. To top it all, I fed it "The Headhunters" by Herbie Hancock. All I can say is wow. Super clean, full sound from the preamp in the unit, very good signal to noise ratio (barely audible hissing and crackling between tracks, not really perceivable when there's any kind of music going on). Let's see if it runs this well over time, so far I'm very impressed. Five stars.

BTW, if you check out the negative comments, some are talking about "how short the RCA cables are", and some are talking about the unit's "low volume". That's just audio ignorance running high around here. It comes with a pair of cables with which you can make an extension in two seconds, and the "low-volume" is because it comes with the pre-amp turned off. All you need to do to solve this "problem" is use your fingers to flip a switch in the back of the unit to "line" instead of phono. And if you complain that "assembling" the unit is difficult (putting three pieces together before running it), you're just beyond hope.

I had forgotten how good records sound. Before cd's came along, they were brought up to very high standards. With this t'table the sound comes across with good detail and range.

What else I like:

1. It sets up in a few minutes

2. It automatically lifts arm, places it on record, and put arm back on the arm rest when record is finished

3. It is simple and attractive. Understated class. Seems well built.

4. It has a dandy little dust cover

5. It comes with adapters, either male or female, for speakers or other inputs. I use computer speakers directly and sound was excellent.

6. It has both line out and phono out. I use line out for my speakers.

7. It has switches for 7 inch or lp sized records, and a speed for 45's, with adapter.

8. It was under 80 bucks, with Prime. Why pay 400?

9. Amazon shipped it in 3 days.

What I don't like: hmmmmm.....give me a minute.

I bought this when the stylus on my old Soundesign turntable and saw that for $20 more than buying a new stylus, I could upgrade to a better record player. The player itself has 2 settings for autostart" 7" and 12" which covers most of my records. Unfortunately, there is no 10 setting. There are also only 2 speeds: 33.3 and 45 RPM. No 78 RPM setting, so older records will not play on this turntable. Sound-wise, this record player is a big improvement over the player I was using before. Unless a record is very scratched up, you will not hear crackling when using this turntable. Overall, if you want an inexpensive turntable you can't go wrong here. This is definitely the best turntable in its price range.

These headphones have worked pretty well for me at my office. I'm in a big group of cubicles with completely exposed air conditioners overhead and industrial lab equipment not too far away. These really let me turn DOWN the volume and still hear my music. Sound quality is certainly acceptable, but compared to nice headphones (even in the same price range) it is somewhat lackluster. Think lo-fi. The point is that these headphones have way, way better sound quality *in a noisy environment* than the alternatives. If you don't need the isolation, look at the Sennheiser model below or the Sony MDR-7506. Or AKG K240. Or something more expensive. :)

Before deciding on these, I tried a few other worthy contenders:

** Bose Quiet Comfort 2. For the kinds of noise in my office, these did not do as good a job at isolation as the Extreme Isolation did. They are amazing at getting rid of low frequency noise, however. I can see why people like them for air travel. I found these to be LESS comfortable than the Extreme Isolation after use for a few weeks. (It feels like there is a pressure difference when the isolation is turned on.) Sound quality in the Bose headphones was OK but not stellar by any means. I didn't like that the active isolation circuit (which creates an annoying hiss) has to be engaged all the time (or the headphones don't work), and I didn't like the price, which is about 3X higher than the Extreme Isolation 'phones.

** Sennheiser HD-280. The Senn's have noticably better sound (much more definition and clarity, if somewhat lacking in bass), and do have impressive isolation. But it isn't anywhere close to what the Extreme Isolation provides. These would probably work fine in a less noisy office. And they don't look as dorky, either. :)

I have had 2 coworkers try out my headphones and decide to get their own set.

One important point--when you first get the headphones, they are VERY tight. One friend initially called them the "head pinchers". This effect makes for a very uncomfortable experience, but the good news is that they loosen up over time. Now, besides the obvious bulk, I don't notice any discomfort at all. One friend successfully pre-stretched his when he got them to counteract this effect.

I was looking for a pair of headphones to use on my riding mower and these are perfect for that application!

After doing a bit of research I found that these headphones have approximately the same noise reduction capabilities as a good set of hearing protectors (30dB) for industrial use. I believe they are rated at 28dB reduction.

Another important fact is that the impedance is rated at 64 Ohms, for those of you who aren't up on your technical specs. this means that a small MP3 player or CD player will drive these headphones without a problem.

I'm also a NASCAR fan and try to go to at least 1 race a year. This year I used them at a truck race and they preformed as well as a set of specialty racing headphones I own. They are a bit more comfortable as well.

If you get these don't expect thundering bass or incredibly loud music from the drivers. The sound is very flat over the entire 20-20kHz spectrum.

Combined with the sound reduction of 28dB from the muffs and the flat frequency response they make for a very comfortable listening experience over many hours.

I would highly recommend the headphones for anyone who wants to listen to audio in a noisy environment.

I bought the Direct Sound Extreme Isolation phones for my wife to use so she can hear the movie dialog on airplanes and trains.

I had previously tried the Koss QZ active noice cancellation headphones. The Direct Sound headphones have the advantage that being passive they require no batteries and also they do not introduce the white noise hissing sound of the Koss phones. Also, the Direct Sound phones reduce all frequencies, while the active cancellation phones tend to reduce mostly the low-frequency rumbling-type noise. Overall the Direct Sound phones do a much better job of cancelling all frequencies of ambient noise.

My wife loves these headphones and now even uses them while watching movies at home because she says she can hear the dialog much better.

The Direct Sound phones are definitely a bit bigger than the typical noise cancellation phones, but the superior results overcome the inconvience of the larger size.

Because we mostly use the headphones for listening to movies, I can't speak specifically to the musical quality of the sound but several times I've tried them with music they seem fine.

I was taking starting drum set lessons and looking for a good set of isolation headphones. The Direct Sound headsets had great reviews so I bought a pair. I can't say that I'm all that impressed. They do a good job of isolating, except when I turn my head. The headsets are constructed entirely of plastic and don't exert enough pressure to keep the ear cups from flexing. Once you turn your head you're left with a gap and the isolation is shot. Since my sheet music is to my left and not directly in front me, the flexing is a real issue. They may be fine for most purposes, just not mine. Also, considering the construction I really think that these things are over priced. I might have give these a 3.5, but Amazon doesn't half stars, so 3 stars it is.

The sound quality is fine. But the arms are made of cheap plastic and can be broken easily. You have to use it like a fragile glass or you want to hold it with your hands after you accidentally broken the arms. I really disappointed and surprised by the weakness of the arms, considering this is an $99 item.

I was surprised by the performance of this little amp. It has a really nice balance of tones and sounds great with my MicroKorg. I wanted something that would fit under my desk but still have the ability to get loud without sacrificing quality. The KC110 is perfect for this. I have not used the battery feature yet so there's not much I can say about that other than the battery holder plate seems to be of very good quality. I would definitely recommend this amp for anyone getting started with keyboard.

it's a workpony cuz it's smaller than a workhorse.

anyway, this thing is fantastic. I got it for small keyboard venues, and it performs admirably. I haven't attempted to use the batteries, but I didn't buy it for that. It's very light and small, and produces fairly low frequency bass-more than enough for piano, not so much for amping a bass or playing dubstep. it's very clean and has a nice stereo image.

I bought it for that, but it's turned into a much more valuable part of my life than i expected. It has multiple inputs, so I can plug in a vocal mic and play with a vocalist without needing a second amp. the reverb knob is pretty handy. I also use it for it's aux input from my computer a lot, however I discovered it only plays through the right channel only! this may be the cables fault, so i'll check with another and change this review. this works well with guitar too! i only wish i had this thing in my life sooner! each input is stereo too, so you dont need to waste two channels just to plug in your keyboard.

This is my second Roland KC-110. It is a great little amp for smaller venues/establishments. I use mine playing a Yamaha PSR S900 through it mostly for fine dinning restaurants performing either as a soloist or with a duo. It has plenty of power without compromising quality along with an easy to carry size. True stereo sound. However for louder gigs this amp is not for super high volumes so don't think it will work for that. For my rock band I then use a KC-550.

The price was very good as with the shipping being free. I received it very quickly.I like it so much that I bought another one to use as a travel amp.

If you want a portable, reasonable quality amp then this will do the trick.

My son plays gigs on short notice in different locations in the Bay area.

He throws a keyboard and this Roland in the car and set up in a few minutes.

I bought this cello because I couldn't afford the big gnarly cellos (yet). I couldn't find any reviews on THIS particular model, so I hope this helps someone in the future. The cello came in a box with good packaging. The bridge was not installed. I've only played an acoustic cello before, so a little guidance would have been helpful here. Had to look at the pictures on the Cecilio website to figure out that the bridge goes right on top of the pickup. Got the bridge up, strings tightened some then put the battery in. OK, that worked. Plugged in the cheap headphones that come with it. Nothing. Tried the other jacks. Nothing. Tried the 1/8" to 1/4" cord into a mixer. Nothing. I called the manufacturer and they were less than helpful. They figured the guy in India (from Amazon)would have MUCH better information than the manufacturer. While I was fuming and contacting the guy in India my husband messed around with it some more. We found out that it has to go from the PHONES jack to the mixer and had to be in there JUST right in order to work. So as soon as I nudge it a bit, have to mess with it again. The good news is that it DOES work and it DOES sound like a cello. You can hear it just fine without it being turned on or plugged in, its just not as loud as an acoustic cello would be. I'm going to see about getting the electronics changed in it so that it DOES work correctly because I like the frame on it. Oh and the bridge is too high...probably about as tall as the pickup is. So i have to either get a new bridge or sand this one down a bit. For $300 what are you gonna do. Cellos aren't cheap and the cheap cellos are...well...cheap. At least its a good place to start from to re-learn the cello.

I was able to assemble this cello and have it playing within an hour of UPS delivery. It had everything needed to start, including a battery, which is very easy to install and replace. The bow is a basic student model, and the case is just a thin fabric, but for the price it's a supreme bargain!

The fit and finish is excellent, it looks great, and plays easily. The fingerboard has some areas that are not quite smooth, which can show up on any cello, but other than that I've used it indoors and out, with a bass amp and also through a direct box to a mixer at a ball game. Never dared take my 19th century cello out into that environment. So I definitely recommend this item.

I ordered this Cello on Monday September 5, 2011 and received the Cello on Friday September 9, 2011 delivered by FedEx. It came in a box and like the other review said I had to install the bridge (which was in the case). Everything seemed to be well just a little dusty. The support that comes up to your chest I accidentally broke because the screws it had were really short, I found some that were a little longer and replaced them and everything is fine. I play it at my church and every one can hear it and they were pleased at how it sounded and so was I. It has a couple of rough spots. My A string twangs when i play the 4th finger D in 1st position, the fourth position on this cello is a little higher up the neck than you would think if you are used to acoustic cellos. Cheap strings an alright bow but everything was great It came with cheap headphones and a battery. A carpenter at my church was excited about the cello and he wanted to see it, he examined it and said that the cello was maple which is strong wood so I was really well pleased with this cello.

First, a little background. I played cello in high school over 40 years ago and decided I wanted to get back into cello.

It seems there are 2 areas as far as prices are concerned the "inexpensive" cellos, and then the ones that break the bankthere seems to be very little in between. I bought a few of the imported "inexpensive" acoustics, but they lacked good tone. All the cellos needed bridge and nut work, and better strings. I finally found an older acoustic that has good tone, but still am not happy with the overall instrument.

So I decided to venture into electric cellos, where most of the sound is controlled by the pick-up and amp combination. It is not so much relying on the "speaker" of the big cello wooden box. Again, there is the $300+ range, and then into nearly $2000 range, so I bought this cello, in the Mahogany color.

All I can say is Wow! Packing was great, the fit and finish is excellent. It had the usual issues mainly lesser quality strings, and high string height.

I have added better strings, fitted a new bridge, and lowered string height at the nut. Now it plays great, and does not have the attendant problems that an acoustic cello may have. I found, with proper amp setting, I can achieve a fairly natural cello sound and then there are also effects that can be done!

The only other issue I had, was trying to hold and play it in the same position as an acoustic was awkward. There is no "depth" to the bouts where I usually rest on my leg, and the back rest seemed to hurt my chest. I solved all this with the addition of a small clamped on bracket that I made which simulates the bout, and some foam padding on the wood back rest.

It plays well, has all ebony fittings, looks good, and now I can hold and play it just like the acoustic. I would recommend this cello for all but the most professional players, as you get a lot for the money. Keep in mind, that some bridge work may be needed to suit your style.

Got this Cecilio Electric Cello in Mahogany in December 2012. I have played guitar, bass, drums, and done studio recording for >10 years and wanted to learn the cello. The price on this was perfect so that I don't feel guilty if I don't play it a ton.

FIRST NOTE: The first cello I received was cracked THROUGH THE NECK where the scroll meets the fretboard. Cecilio and Amazon gave me no trouble in returning that one for a brand new cello, and for that their customer service gets a hand.

That being noted, it is what I would expect for $300. Body is pressed wood, sealed with a nice varnish. The neck is a smooth, well-planed rosewood(?) painted black, which plays well with no dead spots noted. Bridge seems to be quality and didn't require additional adjustments/shaving for the action to be correct. The nut is spaced properly and the height seems appropriate.

The pickup works well and is even sensitive to body vibrations (tapping, movement) much like that on my A/E guitar seems to be an okay piezo. HOWEVER it DOES get overloaded at times when bowing heavily on 2 strings simultaneously. I haven't yet found a way around this and the distortion created can be annoying when plugged in. Amplified sound through my Bogner is pretty cool especially when running it through my guitar effects pedals.

Electronics on the back are simple enough. No, it isn't an expensive Fishman or LR Baggs preamp, but it gets the job done. In the future I may retrofit it with a high-quality acoustic/electric preamp and a 1/4" TS out. It is nice of Cecilio to supply the 1/8" TS to 1/4" TS cable.

Strings on this aren't great, so a new set will be on it's way soon, but they're playable. Tuning pegs stuck well in tune in

I'm using this for my synthesizer's vocoder function. It sounds great and doesn't pick up any noise unless you're talking right on it; which is what I wanted. My only dislike is how stiff the mic is and how little it bends. All of the bend is in the base so you will get limited angles to which you can use this. Other than that, sound is great so it's a good and inexpensive buy.

The Audio Spectrum DJM618 Professional XLR Gooseneck Microphone is a great addition to my new mobile DJ Set-up. I recently designed a completely portable and modern dJ booth and the slim contemporary style of this microphone fits right in. The audio is very clear and the construction quality excellent. Great value compared to other more expensive brands of similar style mics.

I have used some very expensive microphones of this type that are much better, BUT, for the money this one is the Best in the sub $120 price range. Solid build quality and good sound reproduction that you would expect from more expensive microphones.

Pros: It works very well, adjustments are not transferred directly to the microphone and it appears to have good off access noise rejection. Looks professional and well built. Low price!

Cons: It's a little heavy and the mic head is larger than the picture implies. Need to find a good solid base or recessed XLR connection for desk or podium mounting due to the weight.

I needed a mic to add to my collection that I could use for a smaller DJ console for announcements that was quick and easy to set up. The console is only 4U high and a 1U mixer with front XLR inputs for mics so I was looking for something that could just be plugged in. Nice and simple and if people wanted to stand behind the console to use as a podium that would be an option as well as some people don't want to use the wired or wireless mic and stand infront of the crowd. Also was looking for a mic that could quickly be mounted on an XLR base for events and video production. This works great.
