Bought this even tho I have 2 other full-sized synths which are excellent. But one the size of this would be cozy for laying trax with a drum machine, Boss BR-800, while sitting on my bed.

The COOLEST thing so far -it has a very passable, USABLE, even, 60s organ sound! Roughly reminiscent of a Vox Continental! No joke.

Highly dig the color scheme of the keys. Also somewhat 60s-like in appearance.

Not super user-friendly to tweak, but not horrible. I can get the great robot-like or ridiculous sounds out of it like any decent synth.

I recommend it.

MicroKORG is no joke!!! Love all the synth sounds and flexibility with ease of use. Nice little addition to the home studio! Fact that it is the limited edition (Red & Black) makes even that much better! Love it!!!

These in ears have saved my hearing. No more ringing, no more "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" after gigs/practice. No more piercing crash symbols rattling my goods. These really taught me and made me more aware of intensity on the microphone, too. Very comfortable. The only hard part is hearing the rest of the band! HAH! The battery life is pretty decent make sure you change them before a gig!!!

The option for audio input on the body pack did the trick for me. Solves the "boy-in-the-bubble" problem hearing the guy standing next to you or crowd feedback. This is NOT a loud unit my hearing is awful nor should it be, but it does make me look for sources on my board where I can boost the volume BEFORE it goes into the transmitter....Overall a good deal, simple to set up, and works a dream.

Our band needed a decent monitoring system, do we invest in floor monitors or in-ear wireless? We decided wireless in ear, although possibly more expensive (you could find some floor monitors pretty cheap if you wanted) Simon @ Jansen Pro Audio and Lighting came to my rescue and recommended the Audio Technica M2 wireless system. I received the package and liked the main transmitter unit, decent solid feel and weight to it. The belt pack receiver was made of resonably sturdy plastic. I plugged in the unit to my stereo to test out, and sent some sounds over the airwaves. Initially I realised that the unit makes the music sent sound like its been radiofied! loss of highs and some lows, my initial thoughts was a little dissapointed. But that was just a quick test, and not a real world situation. So came band practice and rich the other guitarist had his and I had mine, with a little bit of working out how we were going to have them set up on from the mixer we started. Totally different to my initial impressions. The sound that you hear in your ear is better than what I was listening to standing in front of my Marshall Cab. We had the cabs mic'd and was getting a mean crisp marshall sound in my ears. I was loving it. After break time at practise we tweaked the settings and found a better setup. Wow even better, I was so impressed I was still buzzing and excited about it a few days later. I could hear everything clearly, at a safe volume. It was crazy. I went outside of the room we practised and kept playing (wireless guitar unit as well) I was fully connected to the band. It didn't matter were I was the same sound was in my ear, I could jump over to the other guitarist and jam with him without being soaked by his sound. Less problems with microphone feedback. I also recommend getting professional in ear moulds made. You will never ever regret getting them done. Pacific ears supplied me with T15 in ear and moulds. One word.....AWESOME!

Sennheiser is known for professional grade headphones and even one of their cheapest models stands up to whatever music you throw at it. Bass and mid tones sound excellent while not becoming too muddled. I've tested these headphones with rock/pop (Arcade Fire, Broken Bells) and rap/hip-hop (Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) with great results. As long as you have high quality files there is no hiss (I mainly have 256-320 kbps files with some 192 kbps files). Sound leak was not evident because these are closed headphones (as opposed to the Sennheiser HD555's which are open). I have a medium size head and these headphones fit me perfectly. They have a slight warming effect on the ears which is not bothersome at all. Just to clarify, these headphones (HD 202 MK II) are the same as the original HD 202, with different packaging. These will work out of the package with any iPod, laptop, desktop and include an larger adapter for other uses. If you are still using the standard Apple earbuds or cheap earbuds (Joby, Skullcandy, etc.) and have never experienced the sound of a over-the-ear headphone, buy these for an inexpensive (but not "cheap") intro into an audiophiles world.

EDIT: For those who are having problems with the cord length use the included cord take-up. There is a notch on each side to clip the cord into. The cord looks like it won't fit but it will if you position the cord sideways and insert it.

Sennheiser is a great company that manufactures headphones that even Santa Claus sometimes drops these off into chimneys during Christmas Eve. Note the word, "sometimes." While these headphones produce a favorable quality of music, the comfort level is low. After about 45~ minutes of usage, my ears began to hurt and I had to take it off to cool off my ears for a bit. Let me review the pros and cons of this set:

PROs:

-Cheap. You won't be able to find most headphones that can produce quality music at this price range ($30~).

-Durable; when you hold it in your hands, it feels it can last quite a while. The build is strong, unlike Bose.

-Quality; if you've been listening to your sub-$10 earphones or your Apple iPod earbuds, then this set of headphones will seem almost too good to be true.

-Cord length. The cord length stretches around six+ feet.

-Portable; you can hang it around your neck, stuff it (carefully) into your backpack/purse (i've never had purses, mind you), etc. Just have common sense not to place it in unfavorable places.

-Hear outside noises; you can partially hear outside noises. This characteristic can be useful to you if you set a timer on stove and need to hear the alarm, if you have sleeping babies in the other room, or in case you hear thieves break into your house.

CONs:

-Quality; if you've owned above average headphones such as Bose or the more advanced Sennheiser, then this pair will sound absolute trash to you. You will immediately notice that these lack clear sounds and tend to "mix up" the sounds.

-Comfort; as I mentioned, the comfort level can become frustrating after half an hour of continuous use. If you have medium-large ears, then look for something else. If you have small ears, get these at your will.

-Barely any noise-isolation; if you wish to focus on the music, movie, or games without noises to interfere your experience, these will disappoint.

Here are some alternatives (better alternatives, I say):

*Panasonic RP-HTX7

*JVC HA-S700

If you can dish in some extra cash...

*Audio-Technica ATH-M30

*Beyerdynamic DT235

Im a 58 year young guy whose favorite music is music of the 60's,70's, 80'a with a little Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis built in for good measures on occasion. I like the old music. I could afford a pair of $200 headphones, but I decided to give these a shot for $14.99 special on Amazon. A great deal I just had to try. I have tested these on a MacBook Pro, a 4th generation iPod, and a Motorola Droid X. ABBA, Queen, Traveling Wilbury, heard notes I have not heard before. I must also mention that I am starting to get a wee bit hard of hearing and when my equalizer is properly set, these phones are awesome. For comfort they are ok not great, you certainly know they are on. I have to fiddle with them every so often as they seem to warm my ears a little. The cord IS long and a bit thin, but if you are careful it should be fine. I would definately recommend these if you are just starting with headphones and want a good deal for the money which I dont think can be beat.

Want Sennheiser HD 202 II Professional Headphones (Black) Discount?

I basically just want to echo the review from "DeafInOneEar," who was writing about the HD203s. I owned two pairs of those headphones and have had four pairs of these HD 202s. As far as I can tell they are almost identical...especially in that all of them have eventually lost sound in one ear.

I keep buying them because the sound is really great, as many reviews have explained. And they are cheap. And the extra long cord is wonderful for my purposes. I have earbuds for walking around and a pair of the HD 428s for when I don't need a long cord and/or want more oomph in the bass.

But to reiterate....all SIX pairs of this style Sennheiser headphones have died on me in one ear, sometimes left and sometimes right. I don't yank them or mistreat them. There is no inciting event...one time a pair died while I was sitting at my desk, I just moved to grab the remote and it cut out. Two or three pairs have died while I was walking around outside in the winter...I live in Maine, and I'm guessing the cold makes the copper very brittle.

The point is that the cords are thin and cheap, so don't expect these to last longer than six months.

There are two excellent things about these headphones...they sound great for the money, and they have a TWO YEAR WARRANTY.

I just figured this out last week, and I feel like an idiot. I could have saved like $100, though the inconvenience of warranty returns is considerable.

So buy them, by all means, but print out your receipt and print out the Sennheiser service request form, staple them together and tuck them away. You're going to need them.

Just received these Sennheiser HD202 headphones from Amazon.com. Sound quality is good, with a rich bass, slightly brittle treble, but pleasant mid-range (presence) for classical music. Too soon to tell if there will be wearer fatigue or excess ambient noise in the closed headphones, but seems a good value for the price. However, do not bother paying extra for the newer HD202MKII version -Amazon ships the older version even if you pay the higher price ($26.88 vs $31.48), which I did. I saw this warning before in these reviews but did not heed it. I assumed Amazon had corrected the problem by now. Unfortunately the return postage will eat up the difference in price. Caveat emptor!

I was looking for an affordable pair of headphones with good sound and I read a review on another pair that suggested these. I checked them out, read some other reviews and ultimately decided to get these because they seemed to be what I needed in just the right price range. All I have to say is that I've been listening to music an hour straight and I have no listener fatigue whatsoever. I love these headphones and for the price they're amazing!

Can't beat the price. The sound is amazing. Love that you can lay them down on the table and turn the speakers out so that other people in the room can enjoy the music. Would definitely recommend this item!

Considering all the rave reviews I thought I was making the best purchase of my life. The quality is decent; durable, stylish. In terms of sound.. I was ordering these expecting way better quality based on reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. If you're a dj mixing music, I'd suggest going with something higher quality. These are basically just "listening to" headphones; not really for mixing. They're even available at my local drug store. They do make mixing a LITTLE bit easier, but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. Ears start to hurt after about 45 mins.

I purchased these headphones becouse I dont like going outside with my more expensive ones . I expected a significant drop in audio quality but it was ok, they were beaters! Let me say simply amazing!!!!! They are not expensive but they dont sound cheap/tinny at all. I am amazed at the sound reproduction (a little bass heavy) but overall a solid solid low cost high performance offering from sony with the build quality to match. Heavy wire construction(no shorts) comfortable fit for varying head sizes good drivers. I would not hesitate to put them up against products costing 5,6,7 times as much and I am an audiophile. Sure you can get uber technical to justify your 300,400 dollar earphone purchase"I did" but sony simply produced a product that is far superior in regards to its price, enough said!!!!!!!!

These headphones are amazing. They have a great sound for this price range. I am very happy with these. They are the first over the ear headphones i have had in quite a long time and I will probably never buy ear buds again :) These are definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic build. Very sturdy. Nothing is loose or shoddy. Not excessively heavy for its size. The openings between the turntable wells and the mixer well could have been a bit bigger but its not terrible. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I got one of these for $75 with free shipping. That is a deal if I ever saw one. The coffin is a sturdy build. The handle leaves a little to be desired, and if I had to take this on the road with me every weekend, I'd probably want something a little more sturdy, but it's great for tables that don't have to be moved around all the time. I did end up having to widen a few of the openings in between the mixer and turntable bays to get the power cables through, but other than that, no complaints! Made moving out of my apartment with my turntables a lot less stressful!

They came fast, and as ordered. However, I realized I made a mistake with this order. The handles are rubber, and with over 100 pds to hold that's VERY precarious. There are no wheels on the case, which is also a hassle, but the worst was yet to come. The case did NOT hold my turntables in snugly at all. There was around 4 inches of space on my Technics, and my 10 inch mixer had around an inch of moving space. The picture showed a perfect fit for my technics, IDENTICAL to the ones in the picture. But they did not fit. It's a hassle to return, so I chose not to. But seriously Odyssey? I know it's a very cheap case, but I would have hoped it would come like it was shown, AT LEAST.

Received Item fast, but received the wrong item. I ordered the Odyssey CBM10E and I received the Odyssey CBM10,also the package was torn and my Item had a scratch about 4 inches long on the top cover. It also had the hinges bent, I didn't want to return it because it would take another week or so to receive it again and I had to use it that coming weekend. Not pleased at all, but those are the chances you take when you order online. I'll stop being lazy and go purchase the items in person better.
