After a 2 month wait I at long last I have it!!! Love the Korg Kaossilator 2. Only real con is the plastic case seem a bit flimsy.

So far I have had tons of fun with it and have not read the very short manual. Come on Korg such a wonderful and complex tool should have a a bit more how too, not 6 mini pages. I also have the Korg mini KP 2. It has 6 demo loops that I can not play as not on the menus and not in the 5 page manual.

Though my experience with Austin Bazar has not been the greatest.

Sega so far has been, a month to ship a claimed in stock item, a missing part (a/c power supply) and a wrong part sent a full size SD card instead of a micro SD card.

So the Krog Kassilator 2 get 4.5 stars. Austin Bazar only gets 2 stars at least this order.

Ok revisting Austin Bazar has been working hard to resolve things so tomorrow should resolve things and then I will bump them up to 4 stars.

This is a 4 conductor 3.5mm plug that I was going to use for hooking up my charter cable box to my IR emitter. Come to find out that the connector on the charter box is not enabled what a pain in the butt. Oh well can use them for other things.

These were ordered for my husband. He said they're kind of flimsy. I think he expected them to have a more sturdy feel like the one he intended to replace (it's on a set of Bose earbuds). Other then that he said they'll work.

There are two types of TRRS connectors out there. The first ones I tried had little "lands" that you had to solder wire to. I found that the plastic melted before the solder, so I was never successful making them work.

THESE ARE THE CORRECT TYPE! Instead of the little lands, they have lugs that the wires attach to before you solder. I spent hours trying to get the OTHER type to work, but soldered a cable up in a few minutes using one of these.

Nice product. I hope the other type disappear from the market

I've been looking for something that splits the sound from a computer sound card to multiple sound devices, such as various headphones, powered speakers, amplifier, etc. When I began looking for something to split the sound between devices, I wasn't sure what to search for, and I couldn't find anything that would work. I knew nothing about headphone amplifiers, but that is exactly what I needed, and finally happened upon it. I looked at purchasing the Rolls HA43 Amp, but I liked the style and layout of this unit better. All the connections are in the back and the control knobs are in the front. The unit looks good, feels very sturdy and is well made. The sound is easily adjustable for each device and sounds great. I was worried about hiss/hum noises before purchasing this, but I don't hear any at all. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

This is a great product and does what it's supposed to but I have three complaints about it.

First, as others have said there is no ON/OFF switch. If you want to turn it off you must unplug it from the back of the set-top box as I've been doing. Also, that green light in the center of the box is really, really bright and quite annoying and distracts from when your watching a movie on TV. I usually turn the box to it's side to resolve this or cover it with a dark colored paper. The other problem I have is that the inputs and outputs where you plug in your headsets are in the rear when they make much more sense to put them in the front. By having them plugged in the back the wires have to be bent/curved 180 degrees since you're facing the front of the box -rather than straight if they would have been in the front. As a result, not only are you losing some wire slack (for example instead of 10 ft of wire length you only get 9.4ft) but as a result of the wire bending (in some cases more than one if you attach multiple headsets) the box tends to move out of it's place.

Also, because of the size and shape of the AC Power Adapter (see image at top of this product page) when plugged into a power strip/surge protector you end up take up or covering 2 or 3 outlets, which really sucks!

This is an extremely reasonably priced basic headphone amp. Like another reviewer said, the only thing I'd like that it doesn't have is an on-off switch. You just plug it in and it's on. But it's really just fine the way it is. The unit is surprisingly sturdy feeling, and the knobs move pleasingly smoothly no sudden shifts in volume. I like that each output has both a 1/4" and an 1/8" option. I haven't used this unit for critical listening yet (I use it mainly for monitoring during recording, not mixing), but I am quite happy with the purchase.

I was considering this one and the behringer HA400. Decided on this one based on some other review on other sites. Its a solid unit and seems well made. I have it connected to the output of a x-fi titanium and there is no background noise unless you turn the volume on the amp to greater than 3/4 power which would blow you ear drums out if you played music. The main reason i purchased these were the front audio connector on my computer has static noise so i wanted something to connect directly to the back of the soundcard that gives multiple outputs. That being said the sound is a bit fuller coming from the amp but i could only tell the difference with a high end set of headphones. Sounds great with the ATH-A700 from Audio Technics. At last the only thing missing would be an on-off switch but since i havent found any of these microamps to have a switch i didnt deduct a star.

I was looking for an amp that would boost the signal to my headphones from the audio outs on my HDTV for late night BluRay viewing. I entertained more expensive headphone amps such as HeadRoom's special ones but then money became tight and I wasn't about to spend $300 on one. I saw the reviews the other have posted and decided to try this one out, for the price it was a no-brainer. I got the amp yesterday and tried it out today using the Resident Evil opening sequence, all I can say is that it did the job exactly as I had hoped. My aging Sony CD3000's came to life and had zero distortion...mids, highs and bass were all neutral with nothing over the top.

If you are a night owl and need a solution similar to mine, this is the best bang for the buck you can get! Just don't skimp on cheap cables, they DO make a difference. Check outand [,,,]for the best price on high quality cables (had to plug, just too good to keep a secret). Happy listening!

This is the second set of waterproof earbuds that I have purchased from Pyle. This pair far surpasses the first set because they don't have the plastic pieces that go over and around the ears. These are so much more comfortable and fit nicely inside the ears. I did have to play around with the different size ear pieces to find the perfect fit but they now fit perfectly. The sound quality is outstanding. Highly recommend for daily lap swimmers like myself.

Pyle over-the ear Marine Headphones PWP20B meet the IPX-7 waterproof standard so they can be used under a meter of water continuously for thirty minutes, minimum. Pyle further specifies that they are safe to ten feet. This means they will stand up to rain and sweat as well as immersion so they are ideal not just for swimming but for any sport or outdoor activity and they are indeed waterproof in actual use. For most activities, these will work well with a waterproof case such as this one from FRIEQ that has a jack.

I wear eyeglasses so usually am not happy with with ear clips on headphones but these are are made of soft-touch plastic and are very flexible so they are comfortable and stay in place even when moving in and out of the water and they don't interfere with headgear, glasses, or goggles. The ear clips are solid so they can also be trimmed off with a pair of scissors if they aren't needed.

Three sizes of silicone tips are included. Proper fit is important with in-ear headphones for audio quality and with proper fit, these will also form a waterproof seal to keep the ear canal dry. They fit tightly on the stem and don't fall off. There's a slider on the four foot cable. The jack is straight to accommodate waterproofed audio sources and is gold-plated.

Audio quality is better than one would expect for waterproof headphones in this price range. They seemed to be tuned a bit toward the bass—which is appropriate for the intended use. Impedance is roughly 16 Ω and an amplifier isn't needed with portable devices.

Price is not a factor in my review ratings but the PWP20B are an excellent value for a waterproof headphone.

A sample was provided for testing and unbiased review.

I purchased these headphones to use for swimming and for music-filled showering. Overall, it has not died by water, but there area few features to them that make them very annoying.

The rubber tip that enters the ear is too loose-possibly by design, but either way, it is frustrating. Whenever you place it in your ear, the tip would push up the plastic stock and the exposed plastic can scratch your ear... And when in the water, due to this design, it will pop out. ----BUT, after I fixed this with two dabs of super glue, it was fine.

Also, to whoever wonders about the uniqueness of the earbud version...the style of it does not seem to help or hinder.

It's so important as a singer to be able to hear yourself clearly. I sing in a rock band and we play a lot of music that is very difficult to sing. Before these in ear monitors I would find myself shouting or straining my voice to hear better. Although our guitar player is a great sound man, there are still limits to how loud you can make the floor monitors before you start getting feedback. With these Shure monitors I can now hear myself very clearly and can control my volume in my head. Because the vocals are the only thing going through the PA, we use a mic to mic the band in the room and I add that mix in my ear as needed. Also at times, I pull one monitor partially out of my ear so I can hear the full band sound and my voice is still loud and clear in one ear. It has taken some getting used to but I highly recommend this product for singers in rock bands playing the club circuit. The only problem I really have is that sometimes an earpiece will come loose in my ear I finally found a fitting (from the many to choose from in the kit) that works better than the rest for me but I may upgrade the headphones eventually to the kind that are personally fitted for your ear. You really don't want to be fiddling with your ears in front of a crowd! This product was fairly priced compared to other models and well worth the money.

These monitors are great. I wouldn't go back to wedge monitors even if it meant I would get paid. These monitors have saved my hearing and have upped my musicianship. It's great to be able to hear everyone else play over my drumming. This is also a great rehearsal tool because you can plug in a metronome into your mix also!

This is a reasonably priced in ear monitor system. After many decades of performing with less than perfect vocal monitors this product is a god send. I can now hear my vocals at the end of the set, which is usually the loudest and most chaotic sounding when using the typical floor wedges. The added bonus of protecting my hearing is immeasurable. This is a great product.

The overall sound quality of this product is decent, but not great. The receivers are small and can clip onto a belt easily, so work out very well.

The biggest disappointment with this product is that if ANYTHING is between your receiver and the transmitter, it cuts out. If the lead singer walks in front of the transmitter and gets between you, it'll cut out. If you have a few people standing in a row on stage and the transmitter is parallel to that line, then only the first person can get a mix.

If you're going to be moving on stage, spend a little more money and get a product that isn't going to cut on you constantly every time something gets between you and the transmitter.

I bought this because I have trouble hearing the TV and I've already tried various wireless headphone devices without success. Those that required batteries used them up fast, especially when I didn't remember to turn the unit off. Then, they had to be synced every time I changed the batteries. Others needed to be recharged between sessions and would run dry in the middle of a movie. Others had the hardware built into the headphones making them heavy and requiring replacement of the whole system when the headphones wore out.

Finally I discovered this little headphone amp and I couldn't be happier. To my slightly inadequate ears, it sound very clear and it has far more amplification that I can ever use. My wife uses one of the other outlets occasionally and, of course, there's a couple of spare jacks if I have any hard-of-hearing company. It has a power supply so no more piles of dead batteries.

I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to get a boost or extra ports for any device. It's amplification is far greater than any of the devices I tried that are made for personal music players. Although it has 1/4" output jacks, you can buy 1/4 to 3.5 adapters for pennies on Amazon and have an amp that will work with the more common size for an incredible price.

I'm using the headphone amp at the end of a cheap 30 foot cable but it still works very well and the volume controls are smooth and without static. The amp puts out more sound than my ears can, or should take. Unlike most of the other devices I tried, it has the power to drive any headphones I want, including noise cancelling. Finally I can enjoy a movie and hear what everyone is saying.

Do not let the size fool you. This is a very handy piece of equipment and it's so easy to set up and use. Just plug a 1/4 inch stereo cable into your sub out on your mixer and then into the HA400, then plug in up to 4 pairs of headphones and your set to track overdubs. This is perfect for a small home studio on a budget and it's built like a tank. Be forewarned that this a very basic headphone distribution system, you can only adjust volume from the HA400 and it would be wise to purchase a real long 1/4 stereo cable and extensions for the headphones if you want to isolate vocals.

Perfecto for My Needs!!! I was looking for an affordable way to use my Audiotechnica headphones on my computer when not using them on my personal music production gear. I just wanted to listen to tunes off my computer using my favorite H-phones. Unfortunately, as you all know, many laptops lack the "umpf" to power a pair of H-phones such as the above mentioned. I looked through the various makes and models considering price and feedback and decided on the HA400. With a price of under $20 and 4 input channels to plug in other things such as my computer speakers, I figured, "Why Not?"

I tested it out as soon as I received it and was not disappointed. There was not just a noticeable difference,.. There was a "Mega-Difference" in volume output! The volume was so high that I was on the verge of blowing out my external pod speakers. I set both the H-phone and speaker levels at my preferred max on each channel and am now using the computer's volume switch as the main volume adjustment...the rest is history.

THINGS I RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONSIDER PRIOR TO BUYING THE HA400!!!

1. Though the thing is compact (will post pics showing the dimensions), it is not portable in the sense that you can listen to it on a road trip or on a bus headed to work. It runs soley on a DC 12 volt adapter and not on batteries.

2. There is no power switch... Be prepared to hook it up to a power strip or buy a cheap foot switch if you want to turn it off using a switch rather than having to unplug it.

3. You will need to buy proper adapters if you are using anything other than 1/4" male plugs. If you want to use 1/8" (3.5mm)standard plug for a portable device such as laptop, then you will need a 1/4" (6.3mm) Male to 1/8" (3.5mm) Female adapter.

4. You will need an Output / Input cord with one end 1/4" (6.3mm) Male to plug between your device and the HA400. It does not come with one.

5. If you are a hardcore anal-retent about your audio quality, (ie. an audiophile), remember that this is not an EQ. All it does is split one output into 4 and amplifies the sound and it does it well.

6. Other posters have experienced some degree of background noise, depending what you pug into it, you may also... As for me, I have yet to experience any discernible background noise. As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy with the pure sound being amplified.

7. Remember that this thing was made for headphones and anything else such as hooking up speakers to it is basically "Jimmy-rigging". I hooked up speakers and had no problems dispite others having some.

8. Again, I rate this item with 5 full stars because it was perfect for my needs. I can see how others may give it a lower rating on the basis that it was not what they expected to fulfill their own needs. As for me, if I could dedicate a song to this unit it would be, THE CARS, "You're Just What I Needed"...LOL.

Want Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amp Discount?

I bought this unit because I have a movie room setup with surround sound but it is next to one of the bedrooms where my grand children sleep when they come over. We still want to watch movies while they sleep so I bought this amp in order to drive 4 (or more w/splitters) headphones from the main audio amplifier headphone jack on the movie setup. I just use a 1/4" extension cable to feed the Behringer HA400 amp and I am able to feed each headphone set with their own volume settimg limit. To top it off, each headphone has its own volume adjust so each listener can monitor their own loudness while the HA400 keeps the max volume capped to where I set it. The sound for movies is spectacular and this little amp has enough power to hurt your hearing if you let it. I am extremely happy with this little unit. It is small and can easily be moved with the cables as one reviewer has already said but in my situation I used sticky back velcro and attach it to the back of a little end table we have between the chairs. I don't listen to a lot of music through headphones so I really can not give an honest review of that but for movie watching, I Love It.

I just got this little box in order to do a sesson with some of my buds. It seeps to work and sound ok (not extreme amplification) but the power supply plug fits very loosly (hence the low rating) so I had to use a rubber band to hold it in. Seems most Berringer equipment these days is getting lower and lower in quality. This may be my last Berringer purchase. Better off with Roll for this kind of equpment.

Criminally underrated headphones man, I cannot stress that enough. First, let me tell you what cans I've been ***blessed*** to own, to add perspective to this review.

(In ascending order of preference)

Grado sr80; Sennheiser HD555; HD280pro; Equation Audio rp-22x; Beyerdynamic DTX 900; Beyerdynamic DT770/80--Victor Jvc HP-M1000; AKG K701, DT 880 2003 edition; DT 880 250 OHM 2005 edition; and now, DT 150-250 on top of them ALL.

What makes them better than all of these cans? I must say, in nutshell, it would be its BIG bass when needed, e.g. in genres like electronic/drum and bass; excellent, neutral mids, where vocals reside; highly extended high frequency response that gives the DT 150's sound a gloss of clarity, but remains non-abusive by eschewing any undue harshness; a very big, and particularly airy soundstage, one so well done that its quality cannot be reconciled with the fact that these are CLOSED headphones; great isolation from outside noise; very tough build quality, which, of course, is by and large idiosyncratically Beyerdynamic; and lastly, excellent comfort. Allow me to elaborate on these characteristics(*me fights back fan boy impulses this can evokes in me*).

First, comfort and build quality. Since I got this headphone last week, I've fallen asleep with them on at least 3 times. Nuff said about the comfort=p If you've already owned a Beyer can, you'd know that they are built to take some abusing and keep on persevering. However, mishandle them absentmindedly, and they just MAY give in, as I've learned from experience that even the strongest built cans cannot withstand carelessness. And why should they? They're $200 headphones...that's $200 you'd probably don't want to see going down the drain by "seeing" if they can take a pounding. As closed cans, I find the DT 150's leakage kind of poor, but isolation from outside noise is excellent, as I cannot hear the whir of my computer's fans as I listen to music.

How about the sound? Excellent. I repeat, EXCELLENT. O.K., maybe I'm being a little fan boyish, but please allow me to explain. I like drum and bass. What is drum and bass, you say? Mainly drums and bass, with harmonizing synths and other instruments to flavor the sound. As the genre's name implies, bass is a major player of the game. With the DT 150s, each bass note is clearly heard, while the bass response extends very low, and can even pick itself up from politeness to displays of subwoofery strenghts. But of course, the bass isn't always that prominent, as it shouldn't be in genres like jazz.

What really compelled me to write this review was in fact some jazz I was listening to, bossa nova jazz to be exact. Prior to writing this review, I was lying down enjoying these headphones, when this beautiful song came on. Here we move to the excellent mids performance of the DT 150's. As the first seconds of the song passed, a small group of male vocalists started singing. And man, how splendid did they sound. I heard layers of the men's voices, all clearly separated, yet integrated into each other. Their voices were full, smooth, and very detailed. All of this was clearly heard within the sounds of the accompanying instruments.

As the men's voices receded into silence, an orchestra stepped up to the forefront of the song(more accurately, to the left and a little to the back of the soundstage, more on that, later), and treated me to a deliciously airy, detailed, and rich sound of the stringed instruments. As their part of the song crescendos, the violins joyfully sing a sweet song of highs that remain light, yet present. Then the real fun begins...

...African drums to the far left of center, lead singer in the middle, piano man hitting his keys in rapid succession to the right and above all without any congestion of the instruments' sounds. Along with stunning clarity(mp3 bitrate dependent), it was a true display of the DT 150's superb soundstage(At least according to my headphone experience), one so good that I got off my posterior and said, "hey, I GOT to write a review of this headphone!"

And so, here we are, at the end of this review, a review of these excellent headphones that imo are "criminally" underrated. But I've written enough of these headphones, as the music is calling me! Peace=]

Buy Beyerdynamic DT-150-250-GREY Closed Dynamic Monitoring Headphone for use in Loud Environments Now

Blocks out ambient sound, *amazing* frequency response, and so low resistance that, if you're traveling, they can be driven sufficiently by an iPod. I keep a pair at work if I need to concentrate and a pair at home which I also travel with. I can't imagine a better pair of headphones.

I also really like the large "ear box" which fits nicely over, for instance, people with large ears (or stretched earlobe piercings). Some great-sounding other options (all Sennheisers I've tried, among others) do not fit so nicely over my ears. They are reasonably light, as well, considering how bulky they are.

We purchased this keyboard for our 7 year old son who will be starting piano lessons this week using the 'Simply Music' Beginner DVD piano instruction. As his familiarity of the piano and experience grows, we will probably upgrade to a better or real piano in the future as finances allow. However, after careful consideration we decided to buy this model because it would give him something decent to practice fingering methods, chords and melodies with.

PROS:

* Affordable for a decent 61 Key Electronic Keyboard with the good Casio reputation.

* Comes with the optional A/C Power Adapter, but also takes 6 AAA batteries for portability.

* Lightweight.

CONS:

* Not touch sensitive which means that it makes the same sound no matter how soft or hard you press on the keys. For long term piano students, this will be something serious to consider. If this is an issue for you, you might want to consider the Casio CTK-3200 Model.

* Sounds like a Electronic Keyboard I know, I know, that's because it IS an electronic keyboard... but after years of growing up with a real piano, nothing compares. =)

OTHER FEATURES:

* Headphone Jack.

* Sustain Port for adding an optional pedal.

* USB Port so that you can plug in your computers or mobile devices for playing along with your music;.

* Audio In Jack for MIDI output.

* Removable Wire Rack for Holding Sheet Music (this could be improved).

* Sheet Music Book to play along with the Programed Songs and Lessons.

Overall, we are happy with this purchase, but I have a feeling it's going to be a temporary (1-2 year) solution for our beginning piano needs... But that's ok, since we have more little ones who it can be passed on to. Hopefully it will last that long! :)

My daughter had asked for a keyboard so extensively read reviews on both Yamaha & Casio. This went on for over a week! In the end I picked the CTK-2300 due to price, reviews, material included, and size! My daughter has had limited use of a piano before this, but has a program on here laptop that got her started. By 8 am Christmas morning she was playing Deck the Halls & Jingle Bells! She is musically inclined as a Violinist for 3 years, so this is just the next step for her in broadening her musical platform. Many people have wrote this is just a beginners product, but I beg to differ! I played for 6 years as a teen and this has everything anyone could need to keep up practicing their skills! Hope you enjoy it as must as we do!

Very disappointed. It was NOT touch sensitive. The right speaker only works intermittently and the left speaker distorts on certain settings. It was kinda 'rinky-dink' and more like something for a young child to bang around on instead of a 'serious' instrument or even a 'starter' instrument to help a young person get acquainted with keyboards. I got it for $99.00 so I guess you get what you pay for, so I'll do my research and spend a little more $$ next time to get something of better quality; a keyboard more for someone who wants to do some 'semi-serious' playing. So, as I write this my Casio CTK-2300 is sitting out on my front porch, all boxed up and waiting for the UPS person to pick it up for shipment back to Amazon.

I got this for my seasoned citizen Mom. She's having a blast learning new tunes in the comfort of her little dining room.

I bought this to go along with a Yamaha Piagerro, for use at home, but was surprised to find it worked extremely well in my medium sized church and church hall (about 300 seats). In fact we had to tun the volume down for our talent show. Very exceptional sound reproduction. I would recommend this highly for home and small to medium venues. The 2 channels are nice as you can add a vocal mic as well.

Little Peavey KB1 amp, Very Pleased . all i needed was a small amp to work with a DTX 500 Drumset , just for Home Practice . it does the Job. I can Rest my ears , when the Headphones get to me, and also let other's Hear , when needed. I did not expect much power. The little amp can put out if needed around the Home, possibly a small Venue as well. I did a Db check against a Fender Blues Jr (15watt tube 1x12) on guitar , with the KB1 with the drums, and the Two work together , for curiosity type of music stuff from AC/DC to Rush, a player since early 80's. I do know its limits , because it is only a 8" speaker, and can only put out 20watts. I would not try to play with someone running a Marshall 50 or 100watt head . But if you need a small practice amp , that wont blow away the neighborhood or wrench back trying to carry it. this is the amp. it has a 5 year warrenty if you fill in the registration online or on the supplied card. which to me is very good. Plus I know Peavey can make some pretty tuff stuff. as far as sound reproduction. I had to kick up the HI band pot to about 3/4, the Bass i leave at 1/2 , volume 2 and dont plan to give any more, since i know Drums can kill a speaker pretty quick at this size. as a result the bass is on the weak side. again I don't expect it to be a QSC 500 watt monster with a colum of JBL's . if i want full reproduction i'll wear my studio headphones. 4 stars because i think Peavey should have used a 10" or 12" speaker with higher wattage limit, so the speaker could handle full Bass Boost of the amp itself. maybe after 5 years ill put a killer JBL in there. :)

amazon shipped very fast and the shipping was free Fedex delivered , recieved in prefect condition, i am not a prime customer.

We had one loaned to us several yars ago for our Yamaha keyboard during our camp meeting and it worked great. I finally decided to buy one for our own use. We will not use it until July but it should be a big improvement.
