I think the Stagg SDSB17 professional stick bag stands up to it`s name.....Professional.....holds ALOT of sticks,brushes,mallots and what ever else you can throw at it.My only complaint is I find it hard to hook it on a smaller floor tom,such as a 14"It comes with strings on both sides which i`m guessing is to be used to hang the bag from the drum,however I haven`t really figured that out yet.This is why I gave it only 4 out of 5 stars.But all and all.....a great bag.Highly recommend.

The cable arrived quickly via U.S. mail, and it works. Hooray! I used mine to connect the audio line out from a netbook to a TV, and it works great so far.

Now some initial observations.

For those who care about such things, the RCA connectors on the cable I received were black and red, not white and red, so I've posted a photo. I just plugged the red cable connector into the red socket, and the black cable connector into the white socket, and it's good to go.

How long is a 6-foot cable supposed to be? If you measure the one I got from the tip of the stereo plug to the tips of the RCA connectors, it's 6 feet 2.5 inches long; but if you measure just the unmolded section of cord, that's 5 feet 10.5 inches long.

The metal of all the connectors isn't gold plated; instead it's a silver color with a mirror finish. My guess is that it's a bright nickel plating over some base metal. FWIW, the connectors were not magnetic. There's a tan insulator between the center pin and outer sleeve of the RCA connectors that appears to be phenolic. All connectors were molded onto the wires, and included 5/8" of strain relief where the wires enter the connector.

The wire has two separately-insulated parts that are joined and run in parallel except for perhaps the last three inches at the RCA connectors, where the wire is split with each half going to a separate RCA connector. If the RCA connectors were pulled further apart, it seems the twinned wires would easily separate, allowing the RCA connectors to be positioned further apart.

The country of origin isn't indicated on the cable, and there was no individual unit packaging such as thermoformed plastic or a baggie.

I haven't had the product long enough to comment on long-term reliability.

In summary, the cable works, it's cheap, shipping was a bargain, and it arrived promptly. So far, I'm satisfied.

The Yamaha Arius YDP-V240 home digital piano is as good as it gets, short of being a Clavinova. I can't wait to get mine.

I went to a music store about an hour's drive from my home to choose a digital piano. My main keyboard is an eight-year-old Yamaha DGX500, which was the closest I could come to owning a Clavinova at the time. The DGX500 has a lot of nice features, but it still performs and sounds like a keyboard, as opposed to a digital piano.

The moment I sat down at the Arius I found it a true joy to play. It was sitting next to a CVP503 Clavinova, which I also played for comparison. The piano sample in the Clavinova was slightly better than the Arius, but not by much. There was also a slight difference between the Graded Hammer Standard and the Graded Hammer touch, but again, not by much. People talk about the Graded Hammer Standard mechanism being noisy. Perhaps it depends on how one plays and the type of music one plays. I didn't find noise to be an issue at all. The touch was satisfyingly pleasant to me. It is certainly better than any of the other keyboards I currently own.

This Arius model has everything anyone could possibly want in a fine digital piano. There is a ton of instrument voices and loads of rhythms with automatic accompaniment styles. I even hooked up a USB portable disk drive to play some piano MIDI files. And wow! The sound blew me away! It sounded as if someone were sitting at the piano playing this wonderful recital for me.

This instrument even looks like a piano, with its wood cabinet design, three pedals, and sliding key cover, which not only conceals the keys, but also the instrument's knobs and buttons. What's not to like? The fact that I wasn't in a hurry to get up from the piano bench speaks for itself. I said to the salesman, "This piano has my name on it."

I decided to purchase the instrument from this particular Yamaha dealer because we came up with a comfortable payment plan and the store will deliver it to my house fully assembled.

For 20 years I've been clamoring for a Clavinova, which always seemed just beyond my reach. Until the Yamaha Arius YDP-V240. I look forward to owning this instrument because it's as good as it gets.

I have played on many different acoustic pianos in the last forty years. I admit I was a snob about digital pianos, I didn't believe there was one anywhere that could compare to a good acoustical piano. I had only had experience with some inexpensive keyboards that were lacking, to say the least. I did play a friend's digital piano about 4 years ago that had weighted keys, but it was not very impressive at all. I planned to keep my good console piano forever. However, moving into a smaller place made piano downsizing a must; there just wasn't room for my beloved console piano.

So I went shopping for digital pianos, and I was amazed to find so many good choices that are out there today. Things had changed dramatically since I had played my friend's digital with the weighted keys. I discovered the Yamaha's and fell in love with the graded hammer action, I can't believe how much like a real piano the touch is. And for me the touch is everything, that's what makes this digital piano feel like the real thing. And if you close your eyes, I don't believe you will discern any real difference in the sound, either. Simply amazing.

I wasn't sure I really needed all the bells and whistles such as all the voices and I really didn't think I would do any recording or anything like that. But after wading through the manual I decided to try some of the different voices, as well as record accompaniments so I could play duets with myself, and I've had a blast. It's a lot of fun to try different things on this piano, and I'm constantly glad that I didn't go for a model with less features after all.

The finish is really very nice, and it does look like a nice piece of furniture, and like a real piano, especially with the cover that pulls down over the keys.

Having played classical music for many years, I didn't want to have to "settle" for less than what I was used to. And with this piano, I don't feel like I "settled" at all. I don't think I could have asked for or found anything better without spending many thousands more.

This piano has a really decent sound for this price range, and is also notably quite aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I regularly play on a Bosendorfer Impereal concert grand piano, and obviously you will notice differences in sound between the two. However, the sound of this Yamaha Arius is definitely on par or above the Casio models that I tried in this price range. The handful of available piano voices are different enough from each other that it is fun to mix it up for some variety. There are also a number of other instruments and sounds that aren't too bad either, though I admittedly use the first grand piano voice 99% of the time.

Setup is pretty straightforward, and I was able to do it alone fairly easily. For some, setup may take 2 people because the whole keyboard and upper cabinet is all one piece, and I'd guess that one piece weighs around 150lbs alone.

The manual is a tome, and I have yet to get into it too far. Thus I have not tried out all the available features like the easy song arranger or the performance assistant.

The keys cover slides out to cover not only the keys but the whole digital display and controls, so when it is closed, the whole piano has a really beautiful classic dark wood look. I think it's actually quite beautiful, and looks better in person than even the pics online.

One additional thing I really like is the dual headphone jacks underneath the piano, and the headphones hanger also conspicuously underneath. Note that if you do not ever intend to use headphones, or don't want them hanging underneath, you can choose not to put the hanger on, and you will never notice the headphone jacks (since they are underneath the keyboard).

All-in-all, I am very pleased with this piano and would definitely recommend it for those looking for a nice digital piano in this price range, with a number of extra digital goodies to keep you amused.

August 28th, 2013 update My wife is an intermediate level piano player and I am a newbie. After checking on several Yamaha and competitor models at different music stores in San Francisco, we became interested in the Arius and Clavinova models from Yamaha. The Clavinova models are (as best we can tell) higher end instruments with several models that are fully analog (non-digital) "classical" standard pianos and several models that are fully digital and a step or two higher than the Arius. They are made for the more serious performer who practices often and their price is likewise higher as well. In comparison, the V240 is really a higher end keyboard with some piano like features (such as the piano wooden frame, speaker placement, addition of pedals, etc....) and that sounds and operates just as a classical piano does (at least when compared to a stand alone keyboard). What attracted us to the Arius over a traditional classical piano, was:

1 More reasonable price for our playing schedule

2 Fully digital so you can add in a flute, guitar, drums, etc... to accompany any piano piece. (cannot do on a classical piano and some Clavinovas). You can also signal process with the YDP-V240 so that your piano takes on the sound of say a 17th century harpsichord, a Greek lute or dozens of other instruments.

3 If you are learning and dont want to disrupt others in nearby rooms, you can plug in headphones and the piano music will pass only thru them (so anyone nearby will hear nothing). (obviously, cannot do on a classical piano) This allows my young son to start learning how to play without driving me mad in the next room.

4 Accepts USB keys, so you can add music files digitally or store your own creations in a USB memory stick.

5 Fully compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8, so you can alter and manipulate your own music from piano to PC and back again. (cannot do with some Clavinovas)

6 Has a nice sliding key guard to prevent dust when the piano is not in use.

7 Has a slightly smaller form factor than regular sized pianos and will be easier to accommodate if you live in a apartment of smaller home.

This Arius model also comes with the pedals and bench. The piano is also easy to assemble and is made from a nice solid wood. It is a bit heavy at perhaps 140 lbs (65 kg) when first delivered, so if you are a smaller woman/live alone, etc... you might need a hand with getting it inside the house and setup. While our piano may not have the full acoustic effects that some purists and many professional artists look for in their piano, my wife and I are very happy with this YDP-V240 model. For now, 4.9 stars out of five.

Here is a review from the perspective of an adult beginner: I'm very happy with my Yamaha Arius YDPV240. I am a beginner at piano (in my late 40's) as is my 6 year old daughter. We've had the piano for about six months. I did not buy the piano from Amazon, but purchased from Kraft Music.

Before I started playing piano six months ago, I thought there was not any real difference between a digital and acoustic instruments except for the modern conveniences. However, I must say that whenever I am able to play a "real" piano I find the differences quite stunning. In fact, when I see an acoustic piano I do my best to sit down and play it if I can! Real pianos have a wide variety of "touches"--some are much stiffer, some less so, and getting notes to sound is different than on my Yamaha digital piano. Also, acoustic pianos are full of strings, of course, and these strings VIBRATE, and that vibration comes through strongly in the keys and can be felt with the fingers and also with the body. This is a very different feeling. Experiencing these things makes me also want an acoustic piano, and realize that if I really had the $$$ the thing to get would be a Yamaha Disklavier, which is an acoustic piano and digital piano in the same instrument. Maybe some day ...

Back to the Yamaha Arius YDPV240. I am happy with my purchase. It was a reasonable amount to spend, but I know we will enjoy this for years. I love being able to practice with headphones when my children are sleeping, and to be able to control the volume when not using headphones. Acoustic pianos are VERY LOUD. It's nice that the digital piano does not have to be. However, if I turn it up to maximum volume, the volume feels like that of a real acoustic piano. I also love being able to record what I play and play it back. This is nice for practicing, as it forces me to find a tempo where I can play my piece through without mistakes. And it is nice to be able to listen to myself more objectively (than I can when playing at the same time). My daughter very much enjoys having the different instrument "voices." She will play with a variety of voices during her practice sessions and when she is fooling around. I think it is a lot of fun for her. She's taking conventional lessons, but I also teach her what I'm learning with the "Simply Music" method. She fools around with the Simply Music pieces quite a bit, playing them in different positions on the piano and it is interesting that when she transposes to a minor key she will choose a "spooky" sounding organ, for example. It's also fun to be able to play baroque music using the harpsichord, etc. I like the different expressive options one has with the digital piano--it is many instruments in one, in a sense.

My main disappointment with this piano was the bench. It is too small to accommodate me and my daughter to play four-handed piano. I just bought a new bench (see my review of the piano bench I just bought, Griffin's "Ebony Black Leather Piano Bench Wood Double Duet Keyboard Seat with Storage") so that we can more comfortably play together. I wish Yamaha provided bench options, as a storage bench that seats two seems to make sense to me!

The iRiffport is probably the best interface for an iOS device on the market right now with price, portability, and and function kept in mind. The main draw is that it utilizes the dock connection for input/output and thus minimizes noise to basically zero. I've owned the iRig which utilizes the headphone jack, and those types of interfaces, though cheaper, are far worse with interference and hiss. The only other interfaces I know of that use the dock is the Sonoma Wirework's GuitarJack and the Alesis IO Dock, both of which are more expensive or may be overkill for what you need.

The iRiffport isn't perfect, but as a whole, what it does, it does very well. I like the headphone jack that is located near the 1/4" input jack has a metal ring which makes for a durable and long lasting connection. On the dock connector side, there is a line out port but that one appears to be plastic. I wish they were both metal but it's not a big deal. The cable is about 6' long and lighter than your standard guitar cable and in white. Despite the weight, the connection to the dock piece seems very well made and I can't see that it would come apart after repeated use in a live environment, so that's nice plus. If I were to make any design changes, there would be two in this area. One, make the cord black. It's a bit too glaringly white but I suppose it could be a good thing in a dark room. It just sorta screams iOS Device ! Next, though the 1/4" jack plugs in fine and stays in my bass, I never felt that 'snap' in that I get from my regular cords. Though, that's a personal preference, and like I said, it was never a problem. The cord has never fallen out.

As a bass player, I used the iRiffport with the GK App. I A/B'd the difference between the iRiffport and the iRig. The difference was startling. Where the iRiffport was quiet, and the signal was robust, the iRig was a interference mess. Granted the iRig was a 3rd of the money, but ya get what ya pay for. Speaking of which, I took a picture of the iRig and sent it to PocketLabWorks and they gave me a $20 discount off the iRiffport as a sort of trade-up program. Nice.

All in all, I'm very happy with this interface. It makes for a great practice tool and as it's all-in-one, I just keep it in the case if traveling. I always have either my iPhone or iPad with me, so it's just plug in and go.

The GK Bass App is pretty cool too. There's no perceived latency and playing with preloaded music from the iPod App is just a matter of selecting the tracks and adjusting the mix. My only wish is that it would allow an App like TuneIn Radio to play so I can practice using the GK App to internet radio a good way to work on chops and different styles on the fly.

At first glance, a hundred bucks seems like a lot, but in the end, it's about having quality and a tool for practicing more. I feel like the iRiffport satisfies both of those objectives.

OK, first off: this thing doesn't work with Amplitube, which is what I originally purchased it for (yes, I know Amplitube doesn't use USB style input NOW), but that's ok, as PocketAmp and others from Pocketlabworks are OK for "road use"...

BUT, my main reservation is that the pin connector does NOT firmly stay plugged into the hole on my iphone and ipad. I don't know if this is a single unit issue, or if it's a design flaw, but I checked the iriffport closeup and it does have some latches on the pin plug. It may be that the cord and plug itself are just too heavy. I would like to see this redesigned to be more stable so I can rely on it STAYING plugged in when attached to a mic stand, or propped up at a table, etc. Right now, I have to lay my ipad down, and just hope that no one bumps it.

IF that problem gets resolved, this is a 4.5 star review. I still thing a better design would have formed a more reliable plug. There's something about the plug that just isn't "balanced". We need it to clip on as well as clip in in order to be absolutely foolproof for those who might want to use it live.

Other than that, the "unicord" concept is awesome. I love only having to have my headphones with me. With the iRig, for whatever reason, I never would have both my cord and my headphones at the same time, but I do like using Amplitube better than PocketAmp. I cannot believe that there is no tuner in Pocketamp, but of course there are better apps than PocketAmp; however, the Pocketlabs people REALLY MUST put a tuner into this software IMMEDIATELY...

Hopefully we'll see this unit redesigned a bit more elegantly ASAP. Do that, and you guys will have a MONSTER on your hands. Right now it's a little "iffy" to recommend.

This little cable is exactly what everyone needs who wants to be able to maximize garageband. ampkit, etc. (not amplitube...yet) with a guitar on their iPad/iPhone. Recording is a dream com true with this cable. Yes, it is white, and yes it doesn't click in as snuggly to the usb jack on the iOS device or the guitar input as I'd like (what someone else mentioned before)... but it is not meant to be used while jumping around a stage during a concert! It does exactly what they claim it will do and I can't imagine the Apogee Jam being any better (as that product does not have a line out, AND is a friggin' BOX that you have to connect to... not a nice "all-in-one-cable" solution like the iRiffport is). The guys at pocketlabworks have really got it down (aside from the input connection sturdiness....although I have never had it randomly unplug from my guitar/iPhone/iPad). This cable eliminates all crosstalk and even has a line out which I have now connected to PA systems and can truly say: Who needs a half stack and pedal board?! This thing needs no extra power source and puts out just as good of sound as my old mesa boogie dual rectifier with BOSS pedals did back in the day..... You won't regret getting this!

Great little recorder! I video weddings and do not have the money to purchase a good wireless mic system. This is very small and fits in the grooms pocket with a Lav mic connected. The manual options make changing the settings very easy. It is made out of plastic so it can get damaged if it's not taken care of properly but unless you were using it as a hammer, I don't think you'll have a problem. If you will be using the tri-pod mount, it is plastic as well so do not over tighten or else it could crack.

This is also great if you're recording a meeting/seminar, although you have to turn up the gain quite a bit depending on where the presenter is. There is an auto gain, yet if there are people at different distances from you, it will fluctuate too much with a lag in my opinion. There are both MP3 and WAV settings, yet you can also reduce the quality (kbps) of the recording to get more than enough time if you are in a week long training class and the 2gb mini/micro sd card that it comes with is plenty. If you are a recording artist, you'd probably benefit from having an 8gb card to get the best quality and a long recording time.

It looks really cool too so if you're ever stuck in a dark alley with this (not sure why you would be) it can look like a tazer and may save your life (when I say may, I mean probably not). If you are interviewing someone and don't have a wind screen, they may get scared when you point it at them, so forewarn them what it is. Not to mention, use the Hold button after pressing record so you don't miss important audio. I definitely recommend this recorder, for the price you can't go wrong.

Packaging and Accessories: The packaging is a nice, clear plastic box. Not hard to open and gets the job done. When it comes to accessories, there is only one thing I can say, wow. Meelectronics gives you quite a lot of goodies for $30. The box includes the headphones themselves, 4 extra pairs of tips, 3 varying size pairs of single-flange tips, and an extra pair of bi-flanges making it a total of 5 pairs of tips. A very nice case is included, the case also has a little pocket on the inside for storage of items such as extra tips. An airline adapter, a cord wrapper, and a shirt-clipper is also included. The accessories themselves could retail for $15+, the generosity of Meelectronics is just amazing.

Build Quality: The M9's are built very well; the housings are made of aluminum and are very lightweight The cable is a very nice braided cable that is coated in a clear plastic/rubber substance. The stress relief is a 45 degree plug which is the best type of plug for those who carelessly wrap their earphones around their mp3 players. The plug is coated in gold to insure the best connectivity. The only thing I did not like was the filter used on the housings. The paper filter is not very durable and both of mine came off with no way of replacing them. I would have liked a wire mesh filter much more.

Isolation: The M9's do a slightly-above average job at isolation, I believe this is due to the vent holes in the back of the housings. They are good enough for bus rides, walking, etc. However they will not isolate enough for loud activities, say mowing a lawn. There is very little to no microphonics when the shirt clip is used. The earphones are very comfortable, they are one of the few IEM's that I can wear comfortably while laying sideways on my pillow.

Sound Signature: I had ran 150 hours of burn-in time using pink noise and frequency sweep files.

* Bass: The bass is the strongest point of the m9's. Before burn-in, the bass was very boomy, and crept into the mids even the highs. However, after the burn-on, the bass cleaned up significantly. The bass is now more controlled and has great depth and body. The bass has moved from being boomy to being more tight,punchy sounding. The bass is very smooth and can be very deep.

* Midrange: The mids are decent, but nothing too special. The mids lack compared to the bass, but they are still very smooth. Even though they are behind the bass in comparison, they are still very enjoyable.

* Highs: The highs are very good, better than the mids but still behind the bass in comparison. The high's have an incredible extension for the price and are very sparkley. They are very clear and have surprising amounts of detail but can get a little harsh. However the harshness is not very noticeable when your working out, running, etc.

* Soundstage: The soundstage was quite surprising for an IEM. I thought the headphones were very airy sounding and that there were definite separations between the instruments. The soundstage makes these headphones very enjoyable.

* Conclusion: These headphones are not analytical, but are very fun sounding, they have very good bass, sparkley highs.

Songs:

* Five Magics by Megadeth: The m9's due a fantastic job with this song. The bass intro sounds amazing. The cymbals sound very detailed however can get harsh, especially with an increase in volume.

* Anonanimal by Andrew Bird: One word, AMMMMMMAAAAAAAZZZZZIIIIIIINGGGGG. The song just utilizes the bass and the highs of the M9's in an indescribable way. The violin sounds crystal clear, the bass is great. I believe this song is great for testing out headphones.

* Big Poppa by The Notorious B.I.G: Sounds very good however for some reason I wanted more bass quality.

* Better Together by Jack Johnson: An acoustic song that shows the surprising detail of the M9's. The acoustic guitar and the vocals just shined with the M9's.

Amped vs. Unamped: Amplification of these earphones will most likely not a make huge difference due to the fact these earphones are relatively easy to drive because of its 16 ohm impedance. With the Fiio E5, I did not notice any huge differences in sound.

Comparisons: The M9's are one of the best, if not the best headphones in the sub $30 category. They easily beat my modded JVC Marshmalllows, Skullcandies, and my V-moda Bass Freq's. When compared to stock earphones, haha, I guess you already know. The M9's even beat out headphones that are much more expensive. Compared to my Ultimate Ears super.fi 3's, the bass of the M9's are greatly superior, the highs are also better. Th

e only thing the Ultimate Ears does better is the midrange. My Shure SE110's are inferior to the M9

's even though they cost up to seven times more than the M9's, the bass on the Shures are muddy compared to the bass of the M9's. The clarity is also inferior to that of the M9's.

Conclusion: The M9's are a great budget pair of earphones that one should consider when looking at headphones in the sub $50 range. They are a great value for $30, they are incredible value with all the goodies and extras you receive. They have unmatched bass for the price. They also boast great, clear highs. The only thing bad about them is the slightly recessed mids and that no one really knows about Meelectronics.

I have the silver model without the microphone, but same earphone. These are very solidly built earphones, have one of the best cables you'll find on any earphones up to $100, and have a great sound quality that rivals much more expensive phones, like the Klipsch S4.

The M9 has a very strong bass response (a little boomy until about 30-40 hours of use), a flat or slightly recessed mid response, and a very clear strong treble response (a bit grainy, also until the 30-40 hour use mark). They give very good details all across the spectrum, have a pleasantly wide soundstage, and yet are still very musical and still put you in the middle of the music, enjoying it, not just analyzing it.

The M9 comes with very nice accessories for the price, as well. You get several ear tips to give you the right seal. Like most IEMs, it can be sensitive to insertion depth and position: too shallow kills the bass response, too deep and the treble response is dulled. You also get a nice carry case that is big enough to probably hold the very small Nano, Sansa Clip type players.

A very worthy small investment.

I am a web developer and I use my headphones mainly for listening to podcasts, lectures, etc and I also listen to music. These headphones sound perfect for everything... Seems like the longer I use them, the better they sound..

My last set of headphones lasted less than 3 weeks.. I have had these for 5 months and they have been through everything. i have caught the wire on drawer knobs before and I wear these daily while driving, hiking or even shoveling snow. These things are built to last!

Every set of headphones I have ever owned except these have all had connection problems after a period of time. Usually it is where the wires meat the jack. These are built really well and so far so good..

Another big plus was that I paid around $20 for these I believe.. I am not sure what they are selling for but I have paid 3 times as much for headphones that have not lasted nearly as long and have not had the sound quality these have. I just love these headphones.. 5 months of using these every single day and they work perfectly still and they sound even better now than when I got them.. Oh yeah, these headphones block a good deal of sound as well.

This was one of the best purchases I have ever made.. I am so happy with these..

UPDATE-Here it is January 2011..I have had the phones since Aug 2010 and I have used them every single day since they arrived. I finally managed to break them..One of the speaker wires ripped in half. I was very depressed because going back to any other headphones after these is just seriously depressing. I went through my orders and found the order for these and sure enough they had a year warranty! I contacted the company through email yesterday and today the7y are shipping out a new paid for me.

If you have ever read any of my other reviews you will know I am a regular person and that I leave honest reviews. In addition, I never get this excited about a product. I have never been so happy with such an inexpensive purchase before. If you are reading this right now researching head phones I am telling you these headphones are very durable and they sound great. They bock outside sound as well as other headphones that cost 6 times as much.. This is truly a great buy and this company stands behind their products..

These headphones make my music sound the way I always intended my in-ear earbuds to sound. My former favorite, JVC HAFX35B Soft Marshmallow headphone (Black) pale in comparison to these headphones. The clarity is wonderful with the highs sounding crisp and defined. The mid range is clear-vocals are never difficult to distinguish. The bass is defined and leaves a punch in your ear that you would swear should be making your body vibrate. Noise isolation is very good with these headphones. The audio is crisp and clear even at low volumes.

A pleasant surprise in the packaging was the carrying case, the extra earbud pieces which claim to change the sound dynamics slightly (such as "balanced" or "full bass") I've only used the buds that were pre-installed because to me they sound perfect. The build quality of the ear buds are far above that of skullcandy, philips, sony or any other $20 pair you'll find. The buds are metal and the cord/wire is a more sturdy and flexible than the typical headphone cords.

I use them in my android phone, computer, laptop, and mp3 player with excellent results from each. These are great earbuds-especially for the price.

This Stratocaster is good for entry level guitarists, and for home practice. Its a budget guitar.

The amp is not the greatest amp out there. If you want it for home practice, I recommend getting the value for money Squier Strat, and obtaining a Roland Microcube. Sure, less power, but far, far, far more effects that you can play around with. The amp provided here is neither here nor there its got more power than you need if you are a beginner guitarist, and very little effects. If you are an intermediate or advanced guitarist, you wouldn't use this low powered amp with so little effects for your concert anyway

I recently bought this inexpensive Laney LX20 amp for my son to use as practice amp. And, it sounds as good as any Fender 15 watt practice amp I've tried. But, of course it doesn't sound as good as a Blackstar HT-1 amp that cost 3X as much.

Bought this little amp on a whim. I wanted a small amp for my repair workbench in the downstairs of my house because I was tired of lugging guitars and amps back and forth when I need to test guitars out after fixing them.

The construction is nice and sturdy, the thing is plenty loud, but this is the lousiest sounding practice amp I've played in quite awhile. Do yourself a favor and buy a Fender Mustang, Roland Cube, Peavey Vypyr or Line 6 Spider instead of this amp.
