I just received my headphone extension cable and I want everyone to know that the 10' cable is a straight cable, and not coiled like some have complained. It has been mentioned that this cable should be straight, and the 20 footer should be coiled. Well, this one is straight, so they've either fixed this "problem" or someone received the wrong product before.

This is a very high quality cable, and built like a tank. It has very heavy connectors, and a hefty cord. The plug and socket are of high quality gold plating. This makes a great extension for my Grado 125i's, and though I'm sure the Grado cable is top-notch, I can't imagine needing a better cable than this. It absolutely does not degrade the sound quality, and in case anyone is wondering, it does not carry along microphonics when you brush against it, like most headphone cables do.

The rest of my system is audiophile grade equipment; Hafler power amp, Cardas speaker cable, Vandersteen speakers, etc., so I'm not easily impressed by inexpensive products. You can buy this cable with confidence.

With so many cheap, junky electronic accessories out there, this item is the perfect illustration of getting what you pay for. This was not a huge investment but unlike a cheap alternative that probably wouldn't have lasted, this cable will probably outlive me. Nice, solid construction and flawless sound. Not as long as I expected. I would recommend the longer alternative but that is not the cable's or manufacturer's fault. I'm sure the Grado cables are very nice but I can't imagine them doing any better of a job. But I haven't heard them. My general philosophy of music equipment is go for very good stuff (usually does 90% of what the esoteric stuff does) and let the rich folk buy the fancy stuff to stroke their egos. Spend a little more, though. Cheap stuff invariably disappoints.

First, this is a quality product, well made, with high quality plugs, jacks and cable.

Having said that, I just wanted to comment that this cable, despite the OFC wire, is not 100% transparent.

I compared the sound in my Shure SRH-1840 headphones without the extension, and then with the extension. The difference was very similar to the difference between the SRH-1840 headphones and excellent quality $100 or $200 headphones. In other words, the cable removed those subtle improvements that are obtained by using a high-end pair of headphones.

So, I suspect that with $100-$200 headphones, there is no loss from using this cable, and in fact, it was another reviewer with $150 headphones who heard no degradation from the cable.

Given this, I can recommend this as a good product and excellent value for anyone with headphones under $200 in cost, and caution those with more expensive headphones that they may lose some of those improvements by using this extension.

This is the perfect length for my needs. I was really worried about a lose in sound quality and almost opted for a more expensive alternative before I found this on amazon. I don't note any different in sound quality and I run it through some pretty decent equipment and through a couple of respectable headphones. The cable feel durable and I think that as long as I don't abuse it it'll last. I'll update this if that's not the case.

I was looking for an extension cord for my headphones that wasn't the coil type and this product fit the bill. Quality and price was very good! Thanks!

Is this thing plugged in? I mean, it must be, because all my audio software works perfectly, but there aren't any little pictures or spinning things or eye candy to let me know I've got something hooked up. I guess Phonic are too busy making things that just work right to throw a few dozen latency-bloating apps into my system tray, but couldn't I at least get a useless mixer? Or a control panel whose only purpose is to play noise sequentially through each channel? Or just some light-blue windows like Creative are so fond of tossing around? Oh well, I guess this will have to do.

It works seamlessly with Live and Reason, and even my Windows games patch through the Firefly rather than the on-board once it's plugged in. My only complaint is the absence of a 1/4" mic-in for my unamplified electric guitar, which shouldn't be an issue if I use a 1/4"-to-XLR adapter or just amp the signal going into the line-in port.

Windows 8 was out before the Phonic Firefly 302 Interface...Phonic does not have a update download available that I can locate. Anyone have any idea when-where-or if an update will be offered? Nope. So if your interested in the PF 302 and have Windows 8 or you have upgraded to Windows 8, you better buy from a different interface manufacturer.

Like the Firefly, Phonic as a whole (both as a company and in the cheap junk products they peddle off to consumers), is very skilled at one thing and one thing only. That being frustrating and insulting their customers with very poor products then not standing behind them and leaving them with worthless pieces of junk. With so many other options available (M-Audio, Tascam, Presonus etc.) take my advice and look elsewhere in which to spend your hard earned dollars. You will be SO glad you did !!!

This card is amazingly great. I previously tried an EMU 0404 but the Win7-64 driver didn't work. I also tried an M-Audio FastTrack USB, but the USB bandwidth sometimes exceeded (I have a lot of USB devices), and for some reason plugging in 1/4" output from Phantom-power box caused Win7-64 to crash with BSOD on both of two attempts (also, the ports are named & physically arranged in a way that is somewhat awkward). I wanted to find an external sound device with digital connection to PC and after much looking I found that the Phonic Firefly 302 Plus had good reviews and that the quality was great on YouTube demonstrations, and it also has built-in phantom power and Firewire. I got the device to replace those previous two devices, and when I got it from the mail I immediately downloaded the latest Win7-64 drivers. Everything installed & connected flawlessly without any issues. I turned on the phantom power switch, plugged in my phantom powered mic directly into it, chose the input using Audacity preferences, and hit record--the warmth & detail is amazing. It is better than anything I've used before, and there is no perceivable background noise or hum. The Phonic device has a clean sound and perfect usability.

I purchased this extension cord to listen to music from my PC at work. When I opened the package I discovered that the end that plugs into the PC was bent and the receiving end that the headphones plug into was slightly too large for a 3.5 mm input. The result was that my headphones kept disconnecting from the extension cord whenever I moved. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common flaw in this product. Shipping back to the seller makes a more expensive purchase than buying the other extension cord available at Amazon. Save yourself time and money, buy the Maxell.

These cables have some serious problems. I bought four, and they all reverse the left and right channels. How is that even possible if they're mass produced? For people who care about the stereo image using headphones, that's not acceptable. You can always reverse your headphones or ear buds, but you shouldn't have to.

One of them also has intermittent sound in one channel if you move the cable around.

So they are not great cables. I get the impression that these are the ones that failed quality control at the factory so they're unloading them at cost.

The only reason i bought these cables were because of the price. I got these at exactly the same time i got my new headphones (Sennheiser HD-555) and when using these, there is a slightly noticable drop volume. If you are just looking for an extension and don't care too much about sound quality, these are great for the price, but if you want to keep the sound as clear as possible, invest in some higher quality cables

I read enough negative reviews on this that I should have known better than to buy it--I guess I got what I deserved. The male fitting is so loose that I couldn't get a good connection unless I held it in a certain position and even then it didn't work very well. The cable is also very thick and not very flexible. I contacted the company about a refund, but I didn't get anywhere with them. It wasn't worth the battle for $2 bucks, so I gave up and threw it away.

For a budget headphones, this is very well built and sounds great. The bass is above normal so audiophiles will score them low. However, the majority of users will prefer that.

They are moderately comfortable. They rest exactly on your ear lobe and not around/over them, so they press down on your ears. This can lead to discomfort after wearing them for long periods.

As a DJ headset, they are ok for bedroom DJs. The cord is very long and this is good. The headphone fold up pretty neatly into the included carry case. The ear pads are covered in a thin plastic or leather looking material and this cracks up easily, making them look old. I dislike that.

Bottom line.. worth the 30 bucks...

Terrible set of headphones. Uncomfortable fit, and they look really, really ugly and awkward. Mediocre sound quality, broke very easily. I would never buy these again. It was a terrible waste of money. I would much rather buy a slightly more expensive pair than go for these, because they broke and had to be replaced far too soon. I wouldn't recommend these for use with an mp3 player at all, because the cord is wayyyy too long for easy portability.

When purchasing the earbuds, price was the biggest factor for me, as it is for most people. For their price range these earbuds are very, very good. The first thing I noticed when listening to songs with more bass was that the bass is great on the 'buds. Much better than some previous sony's that I have owned which touted their bass specifically.

These earbuds are also very good at staying in my ears and isolating the noise. Obviously this depends on the person, but for me these worked well out of the box, staying with the medium earbud size.

All in all, some may find these earbuds treble heavy and bass heavy, but for the price they easily beat headphones twice their price (skullcandy, sony).

I've tried many different earbuds in the lower end range, and these Yamahas have been the best quality for value that I've bought. The offset head is a great design which lets the bud fit into your ear better so they don't fall out and make for a better seal so you get better sound quality.

Sound is at least half subjective, but in my opinion, these produce better, richer, and more balanced sound than any Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Phillips, etc. earbuds you could get for the same price (or double the price for that matter). Rare for an earbud, these Yamahas produce audible lows that aren't drowned out by the highs.

The cord is an ample 4' with an angled plug. The Yamaha EPH-30 has a straight plug, if that's more to your liking.

I have gone through far too many earbuds in the past 5 years, looking for a pair that sound decent, fit my ear canal, and don't fall out. Because I have had so much trouble, I've been unwilling to spend a lot of money, but the Yamaha EPH-20BL in-ear headphones are the best yet -for MY ears. They are a little bright, but my aging hearing is losing its high-end sensitivity anyway, and resetting the equalization on my iPod to enhanced bass provides a very pleasant balance.

Some reviewers complain about lack of bass response, but this is largely a result of how well an earbud seals, something that varies tremendously from ear to ear. If the earpiece doesn't have a tight fit, bass response falls off dramatically, which is true with any in-ear speakers. The sound from the Yamaha EPH-20BL may not rival the experience of larger over-the-ear headphones, but they sound pretty good in my ears, and most importantly, they don't hurt and they don't fall out.

These earbuds are in a word: excellent.

I've worked in a datacenter environment for almost 5 years, and the noise of thousands of server fans makes it impossible to drown out the ambient noises of work. I'd gone through literally dozens of different brands and models in the 25-100$ price range over the course of two years, either breaking them or being left unhappy with sound/design quality. These earbuds, while not necessarily touted for noise cancellation, are designed to fit so well that they ended up protecting my ear drums and delivering sound quality under extreme circumstances anyways. They are also exceptionally comfortable; I wear them at work, in the gym, and more often than not, use them with my home computer while gaming.

I listen to an extremely wide range of music (Beirut to Bach, Justice to Johnny Cash, Interpol to Aesop Rock) and all of it sounds very rich and deep across the equalizer. If you have a good source, these will deliver it. I have yet to try the slightly more expensive EPH-50BL's, but I'm definitely considering them as I've had such amazing results with these.

Because of the offset design, they do not come out of your ears by delivering force to the cable. I cannot count how many times I've dropped an mp3 player or caught the cable on a server (or gym equipment) and still had earbuds in my head.

They're also incredible durable with regards to the shell of the buds; I couldn't count how many times I've stepped on them in the morning or when wrapping up my cables when leaving the gym. I've had the same pair for nearly 3 years now. The only reason I'm shopping for more is that I finally broke the adhesive seal keeping the cap on the stem (not even the plastic, just the adhesive) when I closed my car door on a loose bud hanging out of my pocket.

Literally the only complaint that I have would be the cable length; but even this is relatively minor. With an mp3 player at pocket/waist level, there's more than enough slack, but those that keep a player in their back pocket, backpack, or in a messenger bag may have a bigger problem. All in all, well worth your money, and unlikely to be beat (even by over-hyped Beats) by any earbud except much higher-end sennheiser, klipsh, and shures.

Bass is Perfect, Compared to what I currently Use like my Bose IE2, Philips SHE-6000 and Shure Q350, the Bass doesn't hurt your Ears when Listening to Pop Music, Synthesizers have a more defined Mid and Treble, Vocals are also more noticeable since the Bass isn't too loud, Sustain is also better than the said In-Ears. Listening to Classical, Country and Rock seems to be more Isolated and has a Studio Feeling.

Design:

Design is Unique, Sits Perfectly inside the ear and the Line Jack is flexible so it's less likely to get broken. It's more Isolated than the In-ears I own so you can only hear maybe 35% of noise outside.

I've owned other In-ears like Senheiser, JVC, Harman Kardon and Sony. the Nearest Earphones I can Compare the EPH-20 to is the Harman Kardon and Sony.

Like I said, I got it for $12, but it Sounds like a $200 product.My Advice is, just buy it, you have nothing to loose.

At first, the headphones were great. Great sound, and comfortable. I like how the headphones can fold up as well. I loved every thing about it.

But after a few days, one side broke. The opposite side where I connect the plug into. I could only here music and other noise, but the main sound wouldn't work. If I listened to a song, the only thing i could hear was the music background. One star.
