I bought these headphones for less than $5. Based on my experience, 'phones in this price range generally don't preform very well. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to find they recepted fairly well to bass and treble with only a little static at the higher ranges, but I can't complain for the price. The ear padding isn't of very high quality a little scratchy but keeps everything in place nonetheless. If you're looking for a cheap pair of headphones with satisfactory sound quality, I definitely recommend these.

And as an audiophile and audio enthusiast, i've owned MANY over the years, both cheap and expensive. In short, these headphones have a very 'veiled' and subdued sound, which noticeably holds back much of the music. Even for the low money, you can find much better sounding 'cans' in the ten dollar range. I have a cheap set of Sony's that cost me around ten bucks that 'blow away' these Maxell's in every respect... better and tighter bass, and more airy and detailed mids and highs. This probably why I found these on sale for four bucks at 'Big Lots'!

Bought these to replace my old Phillips headphones of a similar style. The Phillips were nothing special but after using these maxells my old ones seem like the damn pinnacle of hifi audio. I would rather hear to a band of kindergardeners blaring on recorders in my other headphones than listen to anything with these. I imagine the meeting where they came up with these went something like this.

Maxell President: Alright our headphones don't sound bad enough, who has some fresh ideas on how we can change this.

Worker: Well what if I took this tin can, attached some wires and Bam! We got our new headphone speaker!

Maxell President: Brilliant!

There are a lot of haters reviewing this set of headphones... to those people, let me remind you: you only paid $5 for them.

For my uses, namely jogging/working out, gaming on a laptop, these headphones work perfectly. Now, can you find better headphones out there? Yes. For $5? No. Like everything in this world, you get what you pay for.

These headphones replaced a $12 pair of Philips behind the neck/head headphones. The Philips had better bass response than these, but no big deal. I'm not sitting in a studio trying to engineer sound, I'm working out and sweating on them. They get the job done just fine. For what it's worth, they do not hurt my ears (no rubbing) like others have claimed.

The ones that arrived were not as pictured and tiny. They do fit my daughter, so she has commandeered them. Spend little get little. They do sound OK and again, I got what I paid for...

As a part-time, semi-professional musician/performer/producer [you can check out our NOVAkILL CDs here at amazon.com] I have a need for good quality and portability at a reasonable price. For maximum flexibility, I have been using USB audio I/O devices for the past 5 or 6 years, as they allow me to work on my workstation at home or laptop on stage with the same equipment. I was first attracted to Line 6 by the announcement of the KB37 because it looks so incredibly slick and sexy. To see if it could deliver the goods, I got hold of a UX2, which is basically the same as the KB37, without the keyboard. It took me about 5 minutes to realise the potential of this set-up so I got hold of a KB37 as soon as they were available.

HARDWARE The unit feels really solid. The plastic is very heavy-duty and it all seems pretty well put together, although one of my VU meters is slightly crooked. The three-octave keyboard has a good feel and also feels fairly robust. The I/O knobs [chrome] are perhaps a little loose [it is easy to bump them and change their position] where the controller knobs [black] are very stiff until you use them for a while. It is very light-weight and no wider than most two-octave keyboards so it is extremely portable. The footswitch jacks are a real bonus. The audio inputs and outputs are very good, allowing you to get high quality, clean recordings and to monitor everything easily.

DRIVERS Line 6 Monkey makes sure your drivers and other software are always up-to-date so it is a good idea to let the monkey look for the latest versions when you are setting up as the CD that ships is nowhere near current [it doesn't even support the KB37]. Once the Monkey had done it's thing, everything just worked. You use the driver interface to assign controllers and footswitches to different functions. It works really well but is a little hard to get at in a hurry.

SOFTWARE [GEARBOX] This is definitely the best part of the deal. The are plenty of amps, cabinets and other effects available and you can chain them all together to create amazing results. If you are not happy with what you get, you can go on-line and buy even more from Line 6, but I have barely scratched the surface of the bundled options after almost a year. GearBox has very flexible routing you can assign the hardware VU meters to any of a number of things [inputs, outputs, etc]. You can monitor and/or record with or without effects and you can even record your vocals or guitar parts whilst monitoring other instruments through the unit. You can have a single stereo signal path or two unique mono paths. e.g. one set-up for your vocal and a completely separate effect-chain for your guitar at the same time, whilst monitoring your hardware synths through the unit. Because it operates outside the normal Windoze audio system, latency is negligible which makes it great for using live.

IN USE This is where we ran into a few problems at first. The KB37 only transmits on MIDI channel 1 so, because we had been using Channel 8, I had to go through all of our songs and change things to Channel 1. But it was worth it because in every other way, the KB37 delivers for us. It is a great device for recording vocals and synth parts and it is a flexible and handy controller for our sequencer and soft-synths. On stage it is even more impressive as we can use it for live vocal effects without having to run our voices through our sequencer software. With two footswitches attached I can change GearBox presets easily on stage and mute the effects between songs.

SUPPORT Terrible. We had a few problems with the unit when we first started using it and the Line 6 forum was completely useless. After 8 weeks of getting no help from them whatsoever, I eventually discovered that the problem was not with the KB37. If it had been, I doubt it would ever have been solved.

OVERALL This is close to the perfect solution for us. It is robust and portable, simple to use, yet offers incredible sound quality, both for getting clean recordings and from the amazing GearBox software. If the support was better, this would be a 5-star review.

So far I've only use this to record my guitar with GarageBand on my Mac. Works great but download the latest drivers for it through Line 6 and skip the disc it comes with.

It's going to take me a year with some mics to give it a true review; though so far, I'm more satisfied.

I used this for several months without any problems on an AM2 based PC, and after upgrading to a an Intel Based Q6600 Processor P35 Chipset system, I only then realized that the audio drop-out, stuttering is common to Intel chipset (ICH9) Systems :S ...and up to now, there is no solution.

My son had asked for this for Christmas but it was backordered everywhere until after Christmas. I tried to find something comparable but when the salesman at Guitar Center saw that it was also an audio interface he said it was a great deal for the price. Before I gave up I tried Ebay and finally Amazon. I was so happy that not only was it in stock but arrived within two days!

Obviously this is more a review of the site than the product but it does exactly what it says and is the perfect small recording studio equipment.

When I bought this, the software was not compatible (out of date). Contacted line6 and got a very unfriendly rep. Line6 service sucks, and this IS NOT worth the price. Ended up returning it.

I was wanting a case for my new Sennheiser HD-280 PRO Headphones, and that's what I got. More then enough room and nice quality to. I wanted to write this because I couldn't search down a case that people said they got for the Sennheiser I got so at least now some people can see it if they read this far into it.

I bought this case to protect my Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones. The headphones fit well because the ear pieces rotate to fold flat otherwise the height of the case might be an issue with larger headphones. The case is light yet stiff enough to protect the headphones from accidental damage and the carrying handle is convenient. The zipper is a high quality nylon and zips easily and securely. I'm pleased with these and would highly recommend them.

Make sure that the diameter of the ear pieces of your headphones will fit in the case which is only 3.5 inches deep when closed, not 4" as advertised. The other inner dimensions are 8" x 8.25", not anywhere near 9" x 11" as stated under "product details". I was very careful with my measurements and measured from the inside of the case except for height/depth where I placed a ruler across the top of the case and measured with a second ruler standing up on my desk to the bottom of the first ruler. As the case is somewhat flexible it will accommodate headphones of slightly different sizes but not by much. I hope this helped prospective buyers.

The dimensions given in the product listing are incorrect. The 4 inch dimension actually states 3.5 inches on the box, but when measuring the product, it's only 3 inches. This is a problem and this item will have to be returned.

When I decided to pick up the UDG U8200 case for my Sennheiser Amperiors, I paid close attention to reviews by owners of the HD25-1 II, since the Amperior is merely a tweaked version. When I saw that three HD25 owners used this case without complaint, I ordered it immediately.

Five things to consider if you're thinking about buying the U8200 and own some version of the HD25:

1. Because it isn't specifically made for portable headphones, the U8200 takes up far more space than a more tailored case. This makes carrying your HD25s less practical in tight circumstances. Bags which fit my Amperiors comfortably now prove a tad too small.

2. The case is a bit roomy for the HD25-1/Amperior, which slides around. This means that any owner of reasonably compact headphones will have to pad the inside of the case.

3. The case does not come with cushioning, foam or even inserts. This is understandable, since it isn't tailor-made for any particular kind of headphones, but it means the user will is tasked with finding a solution.

4. The extra room isn't put to particularly good use. There are no pockets for cables or adapters on the inside or outside of the case. Perhaps the best solution would be to buy a small soft case for cables and then use it anchor the headphones, but -again -that solution requires the owner to spend more time and money.

5. It is not a terribly hard case (like those made by Slappa or V-Moda). It seems hard enough to protect headphones in most situations, but the sides do flex.

If anyone had alerted me to these limitations, I wouldn't have spent $40 for a minimal and generic case, and I certainly wouldn't have agreed to pay extra for shipping (it was only available from a third party). I'd either have bought something cheaper or more specific to portability and travel.

I am just starting to learn piano, but my first impression of the keyboard is very good.

Headphones (NADY HP-03) are good enough. There is an additional volume control, 3.5mm plug and 6.3mm plug adapter.

CD not impressed. But there are tons of free video tutorials online.

The stand is good enough and stable.

Overall, I think that is very acceptable and beneficial kit for a beginner.

Update 1. Headphones do not give the right sound for half of the voices. Saxophone, guitar, flute sounds only part of the tone. Maybe for computer games or listening mp3 they fit, but there is no for music. I need to change them.

All shipped in one box, but each item in individual packaging. Keyboard works fine; headphones, power supply and USB cable all adequate. Did not come with screws for keyboard stand.

EDIT: The keyboard stand appears that it was repackaged in it's box as a used item but given as if it were a new item; half the leg stand parts are in a bag, half are not. Frame appears to have some superficial damage and scratches at the center where it pivots.

The sound these headphones provide is nice, clear and pure. Unlike with most other headphones I've worn, these do not "enhance" the bass, which usually just muffles the audio. As a musician, untainted clarity is what's important when recording audio. Luckily, these headphones deliver just that. Unfortunately, they are not the most comfortable headphones, nor are they adjustable. It feels like they simply sit on top of your ears instead of actually encompassing them, which allows much of the audio to flood out. But, in the end, they work well for recording and listening to music in general.

This product allows your G1 phone to connect to a 1/8th inch stereo line out for connecting to your car stereo or other audio device. It worked and I was pleased with the product. Although its a scam that there is no industry-wide standard cable for doing such things, this adaptor is far less in cost than the 20 bucks you'd pay at a T-Mobile store for the same thing. It's a shame that the cellular industry has decided to engineer and produce different cables and configurations to connect each cell phone, creating its own industry there, charging typically way too much for these little connectors, and creating tons of waste when these cell phones become outdated. Although I am pleased with this product, my next cellular phone will have a 1/8th inch line out jack built-in.

The RHA MA750 in ear monitors (headphones IEM) are warm, detailed, open, and well built.

RHA has made outstanding headphones that sound great and are inexpensive. With the MA750's they stepped up their game dramatically. These headphones are on par with some of the best especially the Bowers & Wilkins C5's I own; and approaching the sound quality of some fine over ear headphones V-Moda, Yamaha, and Sony. They did all this at a reasonable price, a remarkable feat.

These are comfortable in ear monitors that snuggle nicely into my ears, I can sleep with these in my ears they are that compact. I always wrap the headphone cable around my ears; I learned that lesson from my first pair of Shure e3c IEM's. RHA added a section of firmer insulation in a U shape that automatically positions the wire behind the ear and locates the speaker exactly in my ear hole. These take a moment to learn how to put on, after a few tries it is easy to do and the headphones will not fall out. If you look closely at musicians in concert, you'll see the wires from their headphones wrapped around their ears the same way.

Sound is really impressive. The sound is warm and relaxed the headphones never strain even with bass heavy songs. I like the tone balance a lot, there is just enough bass emphasis without overpowering the sound; they are not perfectly flat like the B&W C5's. On the other hand, these are not Beats with overemphasized bass. I had a sense that music was no longer inside my head, but moved outside, the soundstage was that wide and open. These are easy headphones to spend a long time with. At high volume the headphones just keep getting better.

Like all IEM's, finding the right fit is critical. RHA includes something I've never seen anywhere the huge variety of tips are held on a stainless steel sheet exactly the dimensions of an iPhone 4. Normally the tips come thrown in a plastic bag and I have to sort them out. These are beautifully paired sided by side. A little push down and a tug out removes the tip from the holder. They included two pairs each of the standard silicone cup style inserts in small, medium, and large. There are two pairs of the barb style inserts and two pairs of memory foam. A very nice set of inserts.

The inserts are difficult to remove and place on the headphones. It takes a little pulling and twisting to remove and replace the tips. This is a good thing, that way the tips will never fall off inside your ear. I am a huge fan of Comply tips, I find them comfortable, easy to put on, and they block more external sound. The RHA memory foam tips are not anywhere near Comply level, I actually didn't like them at all. They are somewhat small and don't roll when you warm them between your fingers. The 200 series Comply will probably fit these headphones. In the end the tip that worked for me was the large silicone cup style.

These are heavy duty well-made headphones. The cable insulation is very thick rugged rubber-like material (I would guess PVC). Almost no sound is transmitted into the headphones when the cables are wiggled around. The gold plated 3.5mm jack has a rugged stainless steel cap and a spring for strain relief. A similar stainless steel barrel is at the cable split. The ear pieces are machined stainless steel with a nice shine and luxurious weight. They just look like they will last a long time.

The box includes a carrying case. I like the black leather zippered case. It can be used for the headphones or an iPhone 4 fits inside perfectly. The beauty of this case, it is the size of an iPhone so I can toss it in my pocket.

There are two versions of the MA750 headphones the one I reviewed with a straight through cable. The MA750i is designed for Apple products and includes a microphone and music controls.

At just over $100, these headphones sound as good as IEM's at double or triple the price. The sound quality is impressive. I like how well they are built. And they are comfortable. RHA has moved into the audiophile zone with these headphones.

I was provided a review sample.

I tried Bose earphones. I tried the MA150 model by RHA and it was the best at the time. Went to the Apple Store and tried various other models. This is the only one better than the RHA MA150, in my opinion.

While I am not normally a fan of the over-the-ear style, I found it to be a non-issue. Which is great for my workouts.

I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to immerse themselves in the sounds from their device. It will make you fall in love with your iPad, iPhone or whatever you're using.

I just received these last week looking for something a little better sounding than the Bose MEI2i earphones I have been using. These sound amazing and the silicone eartips are the most comfortable I have seen for in-ear headphones.

The only thing that may be an issue is that the cable is very thick/sturdy and I could see it bouncing around and making noise while running at the gym. Have not tried that yet but if you want a comfortable, great sounding set of headphones you won't be disappointed with these!
