Hard to believe that this cord cost me less than $7 with free shipping. The stereo adapter is very well made and heavy duty. The thickness of the cord and robust connections are probably overkill but who can resist the great price.

It does what it's meant to do. This cable is thick, but it does seem durable. If you're using this for an mp3 player or something and you have a hard case around it, you may have to trim the rubber at the tip to make sure it fits.

Good sturdy quality product. Wow this is thick! Arrived on time. I bought this to use with my samsung phone and ipad. Its weighing them down a bit so have to be careful how and where I rest them. Overall I would recommend this to anyone. In my country this cable would cost over $150. bucks. I will be getting another pair soon.

We bought this for our ~200 member church as a replacement for an older Shure wireless mic.

The ergonomics of the mic are very nice, so we decided to give it to the pastor and pass his older Sennheiser (unsure of the model) to one of the singers. The mic is quite a bit lighter than the Shure's or Sennheiser that we've been using. The power button is very easy to use, and the mute button is ingenious. It is in the side of the mic right below the battery level/frequency display panel.

After a week of use by the pastor, he asked us to swap the mics back around and give him his old Sennheiser. He wasn't entirely satisfied with the sound quality. We passed the new Sennheiser to one of our vocalists who has a fairly bright voice (mezzo saprano range). I wasn't happy with the sound that we were getting from her on the new mic it was a bit too bright. After working with it a bit, we passed it to our lead singer who has a very full, darker sound. (Alto/Tenor range) The new mic in her hands really sounded nice it is very clear and has a very nice presence.

Pros:

1. Very clear sound

2. Good presence and sound quality (with the right voice)

3. Extremely easy setup (synch was automatic)

4. Great ergonomics with the power switch, mute button, and weight.

Cons:

1. A bit too bright and brittle for some voices.

2. Perhaps not a good oratory mic. (Our pastor really couldn't get the mic to respond when he brought it in close like the old Sennheiser.)

For the price and the overall quality of sound, I would recommend this for purchase under some circumstances. It is definitely not of the same quality as the more expensive Sennheiser that we've been using, but still a good mic.

05/18/2013 UPDATE: My lead singer just came to me this week and asked to use a different mic. She stated (as did the Pastor) that she really couldn't get the mic to respond when she brought it in close.

We will not be buying another one of these. We have two more older wireless mics to replace in the near future and will be looking for something else.

These headphones are old school CooooooL retro style which is what i like about them. VERY, VERY good external sound isolation, not sound cancelation! You can't hear shit with these things on which means you have to lift the no-lead side ear cup to converse with anyone. But thats fine. i don't want to talk much any way while doing music.

Very comfortable, especially if you have large ears or sensitive ears that get sore from direct pressure contact against them, like mine. I HATE things pushing against my ears and bending the shit out of them! Your ear sits completely inside the cups so you can wear them for hours no worries.

I play bass guitar using these headies and they have REALLY good bottom end audio frequency ranges and top ends are very solid also. The input jack has a neat wind on wind off set-up, with the 3.5 mini jack inside the main jack for ipods or tablets, or what ever. The Single sided lead is way better than those left and right Y shaped leads that get in the f.....g way for everything and anything!

Downsides? The only one i could think of was the curly spring jack lead, while VERY stretchy, it's too short for walking ALL around a room playing guitar, but its perfect for MOST uses because it doesn't tangle around your feet trying to trip you over at only 18-24 inches long unstretched. They'd probably work perfectly for an ipod while walking, running or riding a bike but you wont hear shit from outside of these things so don't get run over.

Quality? Yep! Way better construction than my mid level Sennheisers, which were made of 100% cheapo crapy plastic but still sounded good. These are quality WELL beyond the measley price asked for them and represent great value for people who aren't suckers for similar high performance headphones from trendy Corporate branded marketing hype products at 7-10 times the price. Get'em!

My Sennheiser HD-280 headphones finally blew after 2 years of abuse so I went looking for some replacement headphones for drumming practice. I bought these after reading about all of the other competitors, and my short advice is to stick with the Sennheisers.

On the plus side, these headphones stay on your head (better than the Sennheisers, actually), are more comfortable, block out just the right amount of room noise, are almost loud enough (not quite as loud as the Sennheisers), and are dirt cheap for what they are.

On the negative side, they don't sound very good (overly loud midrange to my ears, and weak treble), and aren't really loud enough IMHO. Also, because of these issues, they really are a one-trick pony (where the Sennheisers can do double-duty as tracking cans).

If I had to do it over again, I'd just shell out the extra $50 for the 280s.

*Physical Features*

These are over the ear, closed headphones with foam cushions, not particularly stylish, but not offensive either. I have an average size head, and these aren't particularly uncomfortable until wearing them for a while, which is going to be the case with ANY sound isolating headphone, and these are way more comfortable than most (although they also block sound less that others, more on that later). The cord is permanently attached, coiled, and is about 3 1/2 foot long at rest, maybe 12 feet long if really stretched out. At first glance it seems to have a 1/4 inch phono jack, but the tip screws off to reveal an alternative standard stereo mini jack that will fit into most portable players or your computer. The ear pieces are hard plastic along with a plastic and wire headband. It's very possible if you dropped these that the earpiece connection would be permanently broken. Where it rests on top of your head is really just a thin piece of cloth over plastic, but they get away with this because it's pretty light and really it's held in place by clamping to the sides of your head.

*Sound quality*

When I first put them on, I was shocked at how inadequate the sound was. Spending more time with it, I discovered that it does a very good job on the low end of the spectrum, clear enough mids, and the high end is pretty seriously absent. You won't get exciting cymbals, for instance, or any of the other ear candy that tends to lie in that part of the spectrum. Overall, though, there is reasonable frequency isolation, it's not a particularly muddy sound.

*Sound isolation*

This is adequate, but somewhat meager as far as sound isolating headphones go, rated at only 19db. Still, when playing drums, my snare is usually tightened up like a pistol shot and these do take the edge off to a comfortable level. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about when they say you can't hear anything with these on. I'm guessing they mean if you have them on and music playing, which is the case with most closed ear headphones. These are nothing special, when I'm (for instance) playing drums with a metronome I can hear the drums loud and clear over the click, but they're attenuated to a safe enough volume level so they do the trick for their intended purpose. It's obviously muffled, but you can talk to people with them on, as well as hear other sounds in the room. For example, I have a loud computer fan and I could still hear it faintly up to about 10 or 15 feet away. I have very good hearing, though. And a loud fan.

These do a fine job of keeping the sound IN. That's pretty typical with closed ear headphones, though.

*Price*

Well, yah, you wouldn't really be reading this review if the price didn't catch your attention, would you! There's really no point comparing them to more expensive headphones, it just wouldn't be fair to compete in the same league. These are about as inexpensive as they get, so you do get a surprisingly lot of bang for your buck if your use for them is drumming.

*Recommendation*

If you're on a budget, these do a fine enough job if you're the target audience (a drummer practicing). They'll capture the bass guitar fine, which is what you're usually playing with, do an ok job with the rest of the mix, and they'll cut the drum volume to a safe level that you can play a long time at. I wouldn't be excited about these as a studio headset, where you might be singing or soloing over the playback. The audio is just not inspiring because of the weakness in the high end. Nor is it useful for mixing for the same reason, nor for listening to quality music for enjoyment.

Buy Fom Amazon Now

The muffs do not have a secure slide on the left. So they're constantly cockeyed and require adjustment to the point of madness. The quality of the audio is good... But the lopsided feeling takes away from the recording experience in a large way. I will definitely not purchase from CAD again, but I will wear these out just the same. And they have a constant humming in them.... Definitely going to buy Vic Firth's from now on.

Got this microphone after doing some research online with different USB mic's. This blue yeti microphone is amazing! I do a weekly broadcast of a band concert, and interview. This does great sitting in the middle of the venue on the cardioid setting, gain halfway up, picks up the band with clear sound, and I think it is great you can slightly hear the audience too. For the interview portion, I don't have to change a thing! Just put it close to the intervewers, and you can hear them perfectly over the house music, and the chit chat of the audience.

Cons: plasticky knobs are a bit cheap. One knob that tightens the mic to hold in position has stripped, causing it to not be able to stay at an angle.

Is was a little concerned about the build quality of this amp, I watched some reviews online and found a video review where a guy complained about the build quality, so I was a little worried about it. But when it arrived all concerns went away, obviously the new amplifiers being shipped already tackled this construction issue, what they did is they still build it out of wood, but now they have an external (kind of a vinyl) layer simulating something similar to the speaker mesh, but in orange ( like some other big amps have). This totally solves al build quality issues, so it looks as well build as my Roland cube, but with more of a vintage look.

Volume wise, Is a LOT louder than the marshal mini amp, which I also own, I normally used my Roland Cube 20w to practice, which I loved because it has a "power squeezer" feature which converted it to a 2w amp, which is loud enough for any practice session, specially at home. well, this micro crush is even louder than the cube @ 2w. So volume wise is perfect for practice, will not match to acoustic drums, but is pretty loud for solo practice or warmup.

sound wise, this is where this amp shines the most, the clean channel sound pretty good if you keep the guitar volume to 3/4 ( this is probably because I,m using Texas specials pickups which are pretty hot and shiny. But as long as I keep the guitar volume there, the clean channel is really clean, with a little tweed feel to it. If I crank the guitar volume on the clean channel, I get a little overdrive if I play hard.

The overdrive channel sounds amazingly good, really rich overdrive with a blues feel to it, lots of tone options with the tone know ( good to see a real tone control in such a small amp). I bought this amp because a friend has an orange tiny terror and I love it's overdrive, of course you can,t compare it to the Tiny terror's tube warmth, but the overdrive Tone I love from the tiny terror feels the same on the micro crush, I LOVE the sound of this amp, if you are into blues, funk or rock, this overdrive channel is worth every dime.

You should here video reviews of the sound, because I noticed several people critics this amp because they don't like the distortion, and is a matter of taste, if you don,t like the orange blues/rock sound you shouldn't be buying an orange, get a Marshall or Randall instead, but if you are into this type of sound, this amp is definitely a must.

Compared to other mini amps, well, there is no comparison, this is a real amp to scale, the other ones are toys. I own a Marshall, a couple non-branded and the orange micro crush. The only one I haven't tried is the fender, which I would like to try.

I'm also a recording engineer and have a small studio at home, this is a perfect amp for recording at the studio, just throw an sm57 in front of it and you can't tell the difference between this and some of it's big brothers.

Finally, the tuner, easy to use and accurate. What else can you ask for on a $60 amp!!. Hhhhooo, I almost forgot, is an ORANGE.

SWEET!. Is THAT. Good!.

So my final recommendation would be, listen to it on the Internet, if you like that kind of overdrive, go for it, don't even worry about the build quality, all issues are fixed. And volume wise you will be amazed.

I'm not in any way endorsing or begin sponsored by orange (I wish I was). I'm just a guitar player ( mostly blues, funk, rock driven), and a 10+ years recording engineer.

I guarantee you won't regret to buy it.

This Amp is EXCELLENT! for being as small as it is, it packs quite a punch. I purchased this amp to use with my Microkorg and a few prototype synth's i'm building. Aside from a little distortion at high volume (expected), this thing packs a punch. Having the ability to use either a wall wart or battery is really convenient for on the go musicians but you'll will have to purchase a wall wart for this thing if you don't want to use a 9v battery, sadly one isn't included.

WARNING: Please if you're considering purchasing this amp, do yourself and your wallet a favor, don't buy it from "Wehaveitreadytoship" they are charging DOUBLE for this amp. It's absolutely pathetic what some companies will do to turn a buck these days.

This is the best little battery powered practice amp I have owned. I had a Marshall amp that is comparable but is nowhere close to the build quality of this amp. Plus it has a great built in tuner. Sounds awsome.

I have not tested other micro amps, this does for what I bought it for, to practice at home or anywhere without disturbing and easy transport, it's very portable to take with you. I really like the overdrive sound, the tuner works really well, I dont like much the clean channel it breaks up fast to a not so clean channel, but overall its a great product, so if you need a good tone, and a very portable micro amp you can give this one a try, it's great.

Unbelievable that you can get real amp tones out of something so small. Rocks the house dimed out, and very sweet clean tones dialed back. I've had mine for over a year, and I'm more impressed every time I use this little gem. Don't waste your time with the little Marshalls or Fenders--this is in a whole different universe, and well worth the extra $$.

Perhaps calling this a mixer is pushing it but it is a great audio interface. I'm using this on a 13 inch MacBook Pro and it solves the issue of one audio jack and does allow a few input options with gain control. If digitizing vinyl this is great in that you can hook up a turntable to it however you may need a preamp source pending the type of turntable. The audio quality is much better than using a USB turntable with I also have used. This is very good for a mic input for a Mac or other computer. The audio quality for a mic is really amazing, much better than i expected.

I needed a small mixer with a microphone input and the ability to add sound through another channel. Also a headphone output to enable me to judge levels. This mixer is doing the job very nicely. The only problem I encountered is that the microphone I am using is a broadcast type and has a 70db output, the gain of the mixer was not quite high enough so I had too add a small microphone pre-amp. The mixer has been working over a few weeks now and I am well pleased with it.

The package came quick with everything in tact and the bass was even strung already for me so all I had to do was tune it which was easy since it came with one. Great for beginners and experienced players. The amp and chord are small and definatley not meant to be used in gigs but I didnt expect it to be all ready for hard rockin' quite yet. I'll probably end up buying another amp and longer chord but neither that came in the pack are useless and seem to be otherwise of decent quality.

This is a great beginners solution to starting on the bass. I haven't owned a bass in a few years so I got this small set for 3 reasons.. 1) The price range was right 2) Pretty looking bass 3) Built in tuner

It's not a most beautiful sounding bass or practice amp but its the right price point to find out if you want to invest the money into better equipment... and I bet you'll still keep this bass around as a stage back up or a practice bass.

A Good buy for sure!

Want PylePro PGEKT50 Professional Full Size Electric Bass Guitar Package with Amplifier Discount?

Believe it or not, I'm actually doing this review almost two years after I originally received the bass.

I received mine when I did not know a single thing about basses, just to clarify. Over time by tampering around with it, I discovered a flaw with mine. It seems now that the problem with the bass I received was, when I applied tension on the neck by tuning it, it tended to bow the neck forward causing a "banana bow". Even if I tried to lower the action on the saddles or through the truss rod, I'll still need to tune the strings and I'll think I've fixed the problem but in reality, I'm back to square one. The conclusion I came up with is: the truss rod is weak, but it does work. So now it is hard to play it the way it is, but I still play it because it's the only the bass I own, but soon I'll be upgrading to a better one. Cosmetically, it is beautiful, the built-in tuner is accurate and functions when it wants to, the practice amp is alright and the electronics decent, but because mine came dysfunctional I'm giving it 2 stars out of 5.

8 months ago, I was an inexperienced bassist learning on a friends guitar. I obviously was looking for a bass of my own. I wanted something stylish and well sounding, but not an expensive one like a Fender. After searching for a while, I came across this guitar. Let me say, I picked the right guitar. It came in 4 days, and shipping was inexpensive. The packaging was fine, and everything advertised came with it. The guitar I pulled out was GORGEOUS. The picture does not do it justice. It has a very natural feeling body and a beautifully sleek & shiny grey sunburst finish. When I picked it up to play, the amp that I expected to sound terrible, emitted a deep and smooth sound that I was surprised to hear. The bass itself was built amazingly, with no errors in its construction. I'm still using it today, and plan to buy a fender soon. Point is; it's PERFECT for a beginner who is really ready to start learning. Happy shredding, dudes! \m/

I picked up the IDJ3 a few months back to learn to DJ from a more traditional system. As a producer (Senator Jaiz) who sometimes performs I was using Ableton Live with my APC 20. After the Deadmau5 piece in Rolling Stone where he said we all just press buttons, I decided I needed to step into the true arena of DJ'ing and this seemed like a great budget option to do just that.

And learn I did. Once you get past the somewhat unresponsive pitch controls, this is a solid setup to learn and perform on. I have learned to rely on the sync button to match tempo rather than the sliders due to this quirk. However I try to not use the sync to beatmatch. I do sometimes, but I am getting better at doing it by ear. Add the functions of VirtualDJ that are available through using the mouse and you get some surprising power out of a kit this cheap. Adding the functionality of the iPod is a big bonus. Many people don't get the power of the iPod/pad/phone input and think it is just a player, so let me talk about that a bit.

At first I would use the iPod to mix in a song I did not have that may have been requested. I like that I could either use my iTunes account on the spot, or if I needed to just have a playlist going while I was not performing I could use a pre-downloaded set list or even just run Pandora for a few minutes. (keeping track of all plays for royalties when necessary for the record)

But things have become even more powerful with the release of Traktor for iPhone and iPad. Now the IDJ3 can be a 4 deck system. As a matter of fact, I find myself using Traktor as my main decks while switching to IDj3 for tempo changes, effects (through the software), and scratching. The power of the system with an iPad,iPhone, or iPod touch running Traktor is amazing. (Search the web for Traktor for iPhone and iPad and check out the vids!)

In addition to this I run everything through an external mixer that also has channel for Ableton Live and my Kaosilator which I use to add effects an transitions for tougher changes in the set. I am still practicing, but my setup is pretty solid. IDJ3 without the addition of Traktor is a good learning and basic performance system. With Traktor, it is out of this world! Pus, Traktor for iPhone is around $5, while Traktor for iPad is under $20. That is a steal. The only difference is screen real estate. the guts work the same.

For the record, there are many DJ apps for the Apple products that will expand the functionality of the IDJ3, but Traktor has taken the game to a new level. It is that good.

I got these headphones to use while working out at my local fitness center. I love not having to deal with a dangling cord that's always getting in the way and I love how comfortable they are! The sound quality on these headphones is really great as well! I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a qualify product.

Great headphones. I was very surprise by the comfort and sound of these headphones. I usually have a problem with the fit around my ears but these are comfortable and the clarity is great. 2 thumbs up!

These headphone are extremely comfortable and easy to use. The wireless capability of these headphones allows me to cook, clean, and deal with the baby while being on the phone without any problems. The best part is that the sound is extremely clear and others can hear me clearly as well. I was surprised that these headphones work so well for the price they are. They are definitely worth buying

Great sound quality! Love the fact that the soft pads are so comfortable to wear, makes you forget that you're even wearing them. They are lightweight, not like the bulky headsets that I've tried before. Easily connects to my Bluetooth devices. The built in mic is so clear, I don't even get complaints when I'm talking to someone.

I honestly can't believe this was only a hundred dollars.

Don't get me wrong, this is not the rig you need to do serious, professional recording, especially if you want to have a guest in studio. But to do a high-quality, one person, talk-oriented podcast, I think it would be difficult to beat.

If you are like me, you love the idea of doing a podcast, but are slightly reluctant to spend a lot of money because you're not sure if you are really going to be able to pull it off. Maybe you won't get the website to work right, maybe you didn't read the fine print on your host site, maybe this, maybe that... There are just so many variables. I didn't want to pay several hundred dollars for a rig and then it end up being more trouble than it's worth. This set-up here makes it much less risky.

The mic is sensitive within several feet, but did not pick up the air conditioner that is about 15 feet away. This to me is a plus as I don't want to have to edit out every piece of atmospheric sound. The mixer is as basic as it gets, but gave me the flexibility to get my levels right for a consistent sound even when I added in promos and podcast safe music.

The head phones are on the cheap side, but they are functional. The cushions come off pretty easily and are a pain to get back on.

But all in all, this set-up allowed me to make a very convincing podcast with minimal financial investment. The first episode of my podcast was tinny sounding, but then I learned more about Audacity and how to use it and the future episodes got better and better. The problem was not the equipment, but the suggestions I was following to make the audio sound "better".

One thing I do recommend is a pop filter. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but it is. It is much easier to listen to voice-only files when there is a pop filter.

If you would like to hear what a podcast created with this set-up sounds like, Google, "Christian With A Brain" and download the first episode and then some of the later episodes. Or look for it on iTunes. You can hear for yourself. Every episode was recorded with this rig.

Happy Podcasting!

The PodastStudio enables the user to create professional podcasts, video narraration, and sound clips cleanly and with little effort. I did not use the software that shipped with the equipment as it wasn't as good as the multitrack software that I already own.

If you are looking to get into podcasting but don't want to break the bank than this is the way to go. I have used the podcast studio to record, edit, and publish my first podcast. It is easy to use and the sound quality is very good. This is a great starter kit. Beware of the instructions, since they are not that great. I went to podcast lane (website) and used a video tutorial to put it all together. I was up and running in about 15 minutes. This is really a great buy for the upstart.

I have been using this setup for podcasting the sermons at my church and it is nothing short of wonderful. It is easy to use and highly portable. If you download the audacity software (and the LAME converter to make mp3 files from audacity website) you have software that is simple to use and very effective.

For the money, this product can't be passed up. And the fact that it comes with its own mixer gives so much control over the quality and sound level of a recording. Highly recommended.

I had it working in 20 minutes. The only reason it took me that long is that I had never used Audacity before and had to figure out where to set the Input and Output. The U-Control is Plug-n-play with Vista (no driver is needed).

It's much more clear than I expected. It's just an excellent buy for the money and very easy to use. (I'm not an Audio Engineer but I have run several mixers and sound systems for churches than I have attended.)
