Works great as expected. I use this in my car since it has the RCA jacks. The clarity of the music is great. The cord is 3 ft...I wish I had another 6 inches but that's specific to me and the type of car that I have. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I am giving this review as to give a counter-weight for the other review that paints this product in a negative light for what seems to be software issues(this is not a software device, this is a hardware device). Too commonly there are negative reviews listed about a product because people do not understand how hardware and software work, and blame issues with something they bought on the device itself, instead of their own hardware or user error. This device works as intended. It's logical that it would need to be "setup" every time as it is an external usb device.

The only complaint that I do have with the device is that I find the volume control insufficient for what is needed.

After 5 months or so with my Roland Duo Capture i need to update my original review. It worked great for awhile, in fact i was very impressed but now i am having problems on both my windows 7 and Mac machines. I find i have to unplug and then re-plug the Duo Capture to make it work, sometimes multiple times. I can always get it working, and then it's fine, but to get it started is frustrating, it's like i'm 're-setting' it to get it to work. I called Roland and got nowhere with them, they said maybe my unit is defective maybe it is, but it feels like software to me.

One of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. Perfect product for home studio recording. More for a guy and his guitar type thing. Record one instrument at a time. Invest in a condenser mic (vocals) and some electric drums you will have clean sounding recordings. It's a great tool.

I have other Roland usb audio interface gear and find it FAR superior to maudio fast track pro. I have other maudio that I love too_like the 1010lt, 1010, 2496 and they all server their purpose well.... but the need I have when wanting to hook up a guitar I prefer the Roland. Now its not made_in_the_USA like BBE products but what can you do?

This DUO CAPTURE does its job well. 44.1 / 24 bit. You can also run it at 48 / 24. In and out sliders. 1/8 and 1/4 ins and outs.

My Roland UA-4fx has more broad frequency response and fxs but it seems to work as well with the similar features they share. ANd low latency.

I tried cheap usb guitar plugs and they work but have noise introduction and lack enough input control for my needs.

I was BLOWN away that I got this Roland DUO for under $50.

I am mainly using Linux for my live perfo0rmance with this and I am happy. If it fits your needs, you should really check it out.

As an owner of a pair of HDJ-1000's and a happy owner at that, I was excited to purchase this upgrade. First off, sound: the detail in all brands of musicelectronic especiallyis apparent from the start. There is clarity not present in the HDJ-1000's and that is partly due to the 2nd aspect of the headphones: their fit. These headphones enclose your ears, as opposed to pressing right up against them as the HDJ-1000's do. The design of the HDJ-1000's is solid; however, for long spans of listening or monitoring audio/DJ'ing, they do get uncomfortable. This new pair are a vast improvement because the earpiece surrounds your ear and use memory foam and a "protein leather" to add a bit of plush to the whole affair. As a result new design is easy to wear for hours on end.

So, these are great headphones, but the price point is rather high... and that is because of the build quality. These headphones are constructed almost entirely of metal, a magnesium composite as said by documentation. The build quality is unheard of in the industry, these are not delicate studio or DJ headphones, these are the highest build standard I have ever seen in a pair of headphones period. They can travel with you, get dropped by you, tour with you and they will hold up to it.

These are the best headphones on the market for their reproduction of audio and the audio components are enclosed in a construction that will ensure these headphones will be with you for years.

Please enjoy.

Like most DJs I have used many different headphones.

I have 2 broken pair of the HDJ-1000s in a box and was meaning to get them repaired as both sets broke at the hinge area.

After reading the reviews I knew I had to try the new version, the HDJ-2000s, and they did not disappoint.

Love at first listen...

They sound better than any other pair I have owned, and it is a lot easier to tell when a track has been hyper-compressed, if the mids have a little too much highs, etc...

The clarity and separation was very nice for "DJ" headphones.

These babies can be used for DJing and production and claim a spectral range of 5Hz 30KHz.

I have been using them for my iPhone, while driving, while taking skype calls, and while listening to iTunes through audio interface on laptop. Basically everywhere.

Time will tell about breaking at the hinge area, but they look very well engineered and they feel solid.

Pony up the $ and be ready to listen to the beautiful waves in all their glory.

I really wanted to like the HDJ-2000 headphones. When the package arrived at work today, I was thrilled, and couldn't wait to take them home. Once I did get them home, I found myself frowning for than smiling. My nearly 15 year old Denon AHD-950s have begun to have issues with the cord, and thus I intended to replace them with the HDJ-2000s.

My old Denon set sounds so much better than these. Where my Denons come through with good, clean bass response, these Pioneers do too. But, where the high end and balance in general is concerned, my old Denons signigantly out perform the HDJ-2000 set. As another poster stated, they are flat and dull. You may not notice this is you had not used a better set, but I assure you, there are better headphones out there.

Please note that I made my comparisons using the same audio tracks in seamless loops, using the same amp, at the same volume and this pair, compared to my old set, almost sounds mono, as if all the frequencies are bleeding into eachother. It's just a muddy mess.

I will be exchanging these for another pair, most likely Denons. Make no mistake, this is a good headphone, but not great. They're over rated, over priced, and under performing in my experience.

Don't let the price tag scare you. These are the best pair of dj headphones you can get currently. So, it's well worth it.

All of the most important features are present here: 1. Durable? YES, made of metal! 2. Comfortable? Absolutely, you don't feel them at all! 3. Sound is good? YES, it's absolutely awesome (lacking on the low end just a little bit, but still VERY VERY VERY good).

I listened to the HDJ-1000 in a local store and loved their upfront sound, and figured that if they sounded good, the HDJ-2000's must sound better... right?

I wish. These headphones cut out a significant portion of the treble range, putting a veil over all the vocals I've listened to so far, not unlike I was listening to them from the opposite side of a wall. Muffled and distant. I've tried EQing these phones to fix the problem, but it just makes them sound more unnatural; see below.

The hi-hat frequency (around 7-8khz) is unchanged, giving DJs a better feel of the beat, and the bass is boosted a bit making these indeed great for DJing; 5/5 if that's your intention. However, for everyone else, this bizarre frequency response means if you try to EQ the treble up to make the 'phones sound more natural, then every song with a hi-hat clashes even more loudly in your ear as well as everything else in that frequency range. Lowering the 8khz frequency makes things sound even worse.

Long story short, for music listening they're terrible even after EQing. For DJs ONLY!

I just bought this beauty and Im just amazed! the tone is so clear jet punchy. The overdrive can go hard rock levels but I dont consider that it can go further than that without lacking that metal punch you get in amps like Mesa,Marshall or other Orange models. It can be done I guess but it doesnt sound right to me. This is a the perfect amp for practice, recording and even for a small gig band. It is loud! Orange is the kind of amp that has 35 but sounds like a 50W so u can play side by side with a drumer with no problems at all. Eric johnson, ACDC,ZZTOP,and countless other bands tones are achivable with this combo.

The dimmer pictured shows a output plug with a cover, probably a Uk socket. What really is being sold is the US version with an edison duplex connector. That's great since that is what i needed, I took the chance that the picture was wrong and I was correct.

Also, this item includes a small remote fader with a short cord, it is not listed with the contents but it is there. Hope this helps.

I have had these speakers for at least 5 years and they work great. The neat thing about these speakers is that it has a bass enhancer which is using MaxxBass. If you look up about MaxxBass you will see how it works. Basicly it converts low bass that normaly a speaker this size can't make into bass that the speakers can make without changing the EQ and without overdriving the woofer.

They also have a 1/8" Headphone jack and a S/P DIF optical output (Up to 16-bit/48 kHz) for digital audio. They do go pretty loud but of cource they are not going shake anything since they are 2.5" (60 mm) sized speakers.

You can wrap the power cord and speaker cord on the back of each speakers. The right speaker has a USB cord and a 1/8" speaker jack for connecting the left speaker to it.

Nice upgrade from my Yamaha P90.

I purchaed this piano for the piano sound and feel. Any additional instruments or features that come with it are a bonus. The acoustic bass, strings and jazz organ sounds are done very well also.

While nothing replaces the feel of a real piano, this keyboard comes very, very close and the lighter touch on the higher keys really takes you there.

I only wish that the power transformer was inside of the piano instead of requiring a wall wart (transformer).

If you want a great piano sound and feel get this keyboard. If you want speakers to go with it as well as some more sounds, look into the CP300, but then you will need to add $1000, 30 more pounds and a deeper frame.

Buy Yamaha CP33 Stage Piano Now

I don't have a lot of room or money for a full-blown piano (saving for a Yamaha U3). I wanted something I could really play that wouldn't be a toy and that would serve for the occasional gig as well. I previously had a P-80, and really enjoyed that, so I figured this would do as the logical successor.

Well, the key action is excellent. I'm not a professional musician, but I've been playing the piano for 28 years. It feels like I'm playing a piano rather than a keyboard, and that was what mattered to me. If anything, the touch is a little "heavier" than a typical studio grand, but I really don't mind.

The sound is just fine; I've never run out of notes in any of the playing I've done, and the grand piano samples seem spot on. Again, I'm not a professional, but I am picky. It sounds great through an amp and it sounds great with headphones (and the headphone option means practice late at night without disturbing my family).

I highly recommend this instrument. I've owned it for more than two years now and it plays as if new. It's durable, portable, and plays very naturally. The price is excellent too.

Read Best Reviews of Yamaha CP33 Stage Piano Here

it came with the FC-3 sustain pedal, power adapter, but no music stand.

It's heavy with complete metal enclosure. The weighted keys are just wonderful.

It play exactly like a grand piano with the sound samples exactly like a $25000 grand piano.

I'd like to have more sound samples on this one but frankly, what it comes with should suffice for 99.9% of playing occasions.

The output is nicely controlled by two different settings.

The transpose setting is also wonderful.

When I turn off my amp, (this one doesn't have built-in speakers), I use headphones to practice (the headset plug is 1/4" not the 3.5mm)

The strings sampling is a little bit awkward, I have to say, I was comparing this to a Roland RD700GX, and I think the Roland sounds are better.

But it's a different level stage piano anyway.

I bought a piano bag and a stand from Amazon too. See my other reviews.

A note on the FC-3 pedal--it came with something lose in the housing. Sounded like a screw or something. I was going to ask the dealer to exchange but the shipping back and forth would be trouble so I attempted to fix it. After opening the housing, it's a U shaped plastic that holds the sustain mechanism with the pedal action that came off. So I just pressed down the pedal and re-inserted the U-shape bracket into its place and voila, it's working again. So, if you ever encounter a similar problem, you can try to fix it that way. It only took like 5 screws to see the inside. But I've had other sustain pedals that had completely different sustain mechanism and would not be repaired in a similar fashion.

All in all, the adapter is a small size and very easy to fit in the bag I purchased.

The lack of music holder is something I deducted credit from the 5 stars.

Also, the keys seems to be of less quality than the higher level Yamaha keyboards. I don't know if my nails are so hard, but after playing just 1 time, brand new, I could see visible scratch marks under light reflection. I am not being too critical but that didn't happen with my old upright piano.

I'd recommend this one if it's under $1000 (net, after tax and shipping). I think a replacement is coming or CP50 is already the replacement unit by Yamaha.

With just two weeks of ownership, I've given it more than 40 hours of practice sessions. It's a wonderful entry level stage piano.

Want Yamaha CP33 Stage Piano Discount?

I love the sound and feel of this piano. I have an acoustic upright but I wanted something I could practice on without waking anyone. This has a very similar feel to a real piano keyboard and it sounds great. I didn't really desire all the bells and whistles of a synthesizer although this does have a nice complement of voices. Using an external recording device I've made much nicer piano recordings from the CP33 than I ever got from my acoustic.

Buy Fom Amazon Now

I got the cp33 primarly because I have no space for an acoustic and I might move out of the apartment when the lease ends. In college I had tried a Yamaha Clavinova and I thought it was pretty neat that it didn't take too much space. I decided not to buy the Clavinova since it seems quite heavy to move and is a bit pricey. I did some research and figured the cp33 with its "finely" tuned action would replicate the most of an acoustic piano. I had played for a few years on a Boston (Japanese Steinway & Sons) and a Baldwin and the action of the keys is quite similar in lightness. I noticed a few differences, which include that there is no give at the bottom of the key such that your fingers feel compressed a little more. The CP33 also picks up the faintest of pressure whereas an acoustic piano would not.

For sound quality the CP33's "grand piano 1" setting sounds very crisp. It does sound like a Yamaha grand piano and has that metallic sound to it. The Boston and Baldwin and I'd imagine most other Western acoustic pianos have that more mellow woody sound to it. I guess you could say the grand piano 1 sound is the sounds you hear of pianos in the movies these days.

The cool thing about the CP33 is that there is an alternate grand piano sound that tries to mimic the more classical type of acoustic piano. It mimics the classical piano fairly well but it does sound a bit muffled, and sounds like a ~Steinway with the lids closed.

One annoying sound I've gotten from the CP33 though is when I hit two adjacent keys around the first octave of the treble clef. I can hear a significant beat frequency when two notes (e.g. G and Gb) are played together. An acoustic piano has that sound but not as loud as the CP33.

Overall I like the keyboard, it doesn't take much getting used to and it comes with a damper pedal. There are numerous options that I probably won't use, but the ones that are cool for me are the reverb effects to mimic playing in a concert hall as well as adjusting the sensitivity of the keys. There's also a metronome that is ridiculously loud, however...dunno how to quiet that one down.

This roll up piano is very good as a portable, easy to store unit. It is not a full size weighted key electronic piano, of course, but it works well and can be used anywhere. It is perfect for practicing vocal parts or learning a new tune. Sound is good for its size and feel of keys is reasonable even though they do not drop down. I am pleased with my purchase.

It sounds great and you can save your songs on it and replay later. My son uses it with his headphones sometimes. Want Roll Up Piano - Digital & Portable 61 Keys Electronic Keyboard with Built-in Record & Play Back Fun Discount?

I felt that its difficult or may be technology does not exist to improve the aesthetics of a wonderful instrument invented in ancient times as a Roll Up version. When the instrument arrived, although the sounds were not as real as a large piano I own, my travelling demanded me to practice with a mobile version. However as I carried around for a month the keys started mixing inaudible noise into music I tried to play. By the time I have decided to return time the return policy of 30 days was up. I wish they have provided more time standing behind their product to return or if amazon offered a trade in, I would have definitely gone for it. There is no customer service for this nor any suggested repair shop. For travelers like me my sincere suggestion is to find a piano in a public library or hotel to practice rather than buying this annoying piece. Or better if you are serious to carry use Casio SA46(Discontinued) or Casio SA-76(does not fix in cabin baggage but a wonderful instrument) to own for travelling needs. Although they cannot simulate an 88 key piano. Honestly, the e-commerce sites should allows a circle with a line crossed to indicate caution with products, then the single star rating could be dropped.

Plays what it wants rather than what you play. Okay to use for practice if you turn off the volume and just practice hitting the keys.

Ok, this is my first review I have ever written on Amazon. The Numark IDJ Pro is HARD to find...atleast right now. It has said "temporarily out of stock" since May but I think that is a place holder because this thing was not really available until around the 20th of Aug. I bought this on Amazon from a third party seller and they were awesome and got it out withing 3 days. Now I have been using IPADS since they have come out and have had all 3 revisions. I currently am using the IDJ Pro with the "new ipad" 64gb. First thing you notice is the IDJ Pro is BIG! Now it has to be big to accomidate an ipad in the center. There is a velevet like lining that lets you slide the IPAD in upside down so the button is at the top and the connection cable plugs in at the top and then a nice plastic flip over cover closes around it and it looks integrated, which is pretty cool. It is in there pretty tight and no chance of it moving around. The build quality feels good to me and maybe not as high end as a traktor but it still feels more sturdy and way more professional than an IDJ Live. The IDJ Live was cool and worked nicely but the big draw back was the lack of power...meaning if you plugged the idj live into the ipad you had no way to power the Ipad except with the existing battery and the IDJ live caused it to drain a bit faster than normal. So with all that said how does the IDJ Pro work?? I think it works great NOW...why now? because as of yesterday Sept. 8, 2012 DJAY was updated...YAY! See the problem before the update was you could not use the cool "automix" feature in the portrait mode that it forces the Ipad to run in when DJAY launches. That was a major flaw...now it's damn near perfect. You can automix you have this very cool option of adding echo or flanger or various other effects on the touchpad of the IPAD on the fly when you are DJing. You can scratch better with the left jog wheel...before the update it was flakey. You can load a song on the one deck while the other is playing and you can hear what you are cueing up through the headphones while the other deck spins. You get actual balanced XLR outputs and RCA outputs on the rear of the IDJ Pro. You can run a Mic and Aux in and you have control over the gains. The IDJ Pro is just cool and people freak when they see it...lol. Now with all that said could you do what it does and spend less. Sure...but I love my IPAD and people complain about the limitations of how much music you can bring even with a 64gb IPAD...come on...you can only DJ for so many hours and play only so many songs. If you NEED more storage bring a laptop and cross fade off of it or an IPOD or MP3 Player. Could you use a dedicated Laptop with a controller instead of all this...sure...but once again this thing is damn cool and there has never been, until now anything this nice for an IPAD. I am running this with a two BOSE L1 Classics with 4 subs and you can make a thousand people happy with this setup. Bottom line I am just "scratching"...haha...the surface of what this thing can do. But if you are looking for the BEST way to control your IPAD that keeps it powered and lets you have full control over your ITUNES library and you've got deep pockets then currently there is nothing better.

This is an amazing piece for new DJ's. It also works with IPad 4th gen but needs the adapter piece for the lightning connector. The only issue is the back panel will not close with the adapter installed. Other than that hours of fun and very easy to use.

This is a great tool and weapon to use in DJ competition. People are just amazed to see me DJ with it. It is so convenient too and the quick setup is off the chain. I can show up 5 minutes before my show and it's Showtime 5 minutes later. Thanks Numark!

I love this mixer, the best for traveling light and for a small gig, most of the clubs and sports bars have powered speakers, so I'm able to jack right in and I'm up and running, sweet. It controls vjay but it does not switch to portrait like it does with djay, and also, be nice if it had a video output, I know, I know, it was made for djay but I'm just sayin'.

I purchased this item a week ago and I'm a DJ for over 25 years and I decided to downgrade to something light and snug that I can use, and the idj pro made me very happy, very accurate platters and the scratching is on point. This is a great product for DJs and I'm so happy I got it!!
