These ear pads made my Audio Technica ATHM50 much more comfortable. The height of the ear cavity is about 7cm vs the 6cm of the stock ATHM50 pads, and the velour material is much more comfortable than the ATHM50's pleather. I didn't hear any audible difference between the stock pads and these, although I didn't do a careful comparison. The improved comfort makes listening to music with these more enjoyable. The fabric backings of the two pads are made of similar materials and have similar permeability, so any actual sonic differences are likely to be minimal.

Note: if you flex your ear muscles or move your head around sharply, these will sometimes 'creak'. I didn't find it annoying, but if that sort of thing annoys you, you should probably avoid velour altogether.

I thought the original cushions on my SRH440s were really comfortable, but now I realize that I was mistaken. These replacement cushions make the old ones seem like rocks carved to fit around your ears. Treat yourself to a comfort upgrade!

On a more functional note, they seem to do a much better job at isolation than the stock 440 cushions.

I'm rockin these on my audiotechnica ATH m50's......between the higher quality pleather (softer) and the increased padding (also softer) -they are far more comfortable than the stock pads.

My stock pads were that of a dried out elephant. Crusty and lacking the padding causing my ears to be in a lot of pain with extended listening.

I picked these up because they would be like ear muffs in the winter and they actually add another layer of noise canceling and an extreme degree of comfort.

I have recommended these to my fellow M50 users and a few have picked these up.

For the price, not bad. But if you are looking for professional sound, go elswhere. For the purpose of using it for a karaoke machine it's ideal. The volume is a little low compared to other mic's but that can be overlooked, especially for the price & durability. It's very well put together. And the cord length is adequate. Overall, not bad!

I purchased this Pyle Pro to replace my 15 year-old Pyle Mixer. The old mixer still works but I figured after 15 years it was time to update my mixer to the latest version. There's lot's of DJ mixers out there but my experience with the other Disc Jockey equipment companies hasn't been the best when it comes to service. Anyway, this new mixer is seemingly similar to my old Pyle mixer except for a few fancy lights, to me however, it's just FLUFF. One feature that it doesn't have is a cross-fader that attenuates, in other words the sound from one channel should begin fading as you move the slider over to the next channel. Surprisingly most of the DJ/Band e-tailers don't carry the Pyle line, so it's Amazon to the rescue.

Rather than buy an expensive "Controller" I'm content with my Pyle Mixer, an external sound card and my notebook computer to get the job done every time. With everything loaded into my SKB Roto GigRig this 70 year-old young Disc Jockey with well over 40 years of experience is still Rockin' and Rollin' and I didn't have to spend 1K on the other FLUFF stuff.

UPDATE. This one just started giving me problems. Kept losing the left channel. Replaced every possible cable to no avail. Finally figured out it was the left output. Warranty just ran out. Just ordered another PYD from Amazon.

This is a great mixer and I'm quite pleased with it. If you're looking for a quality 4 channel DJ mixer, then this is it. The 10 band (left and right) EQ is also a nice touch, and each channel has it's own gain control. Nice crossfader and sliders. It has 2 mic inputs, and designated inputs for turntables. I personally don't have much use for the digital echo, but it works quite well. I'm using this at home, but it would also be a great mixer for mobile use since it only weighs 12 lbs. I play guitar in my church's praise band. Purchased the UM2RC monitor for hearing the other instruments clearly and it perfectly serves this purpose. I've used other in-ear monitors and earphones, but none have given me the definition and clarity as these. And they're so much more efficient than others.....I can cut the volume back on our Aviom system several notches and still hear everything.
