I bought the Shure PG30TQG Headset Condenser Microphone, QG at an incredible price the other day. I was in desperate need of one as I'm a spin instructor and although I have a great loud voice sometimes after a long day of work I don't want to really spend much needed energy projecting my voice. The Gym I work in has the Shure WH20TQG Dynamic Headset Microphones which Works well but in all honesty is not made for all head types. I'll say it I have a Big Head and the WH20TQG is sized a little smaller and is not made as easily pliable as the PG30TQG. It has got to be the thicker and of course more durable wire headset that makes it tougher to shape to fit my head but I used to find that I easily got a headache with the small fit after ten minutes of use and tossed it off. I don't have this problem with the PG30TQG. It fits my sizeable cranium perfectly and snugly. The mike is just as good as its more expensive WH20TQG counterpart. As I use it for spinning I bounce around a lot and I haven't had any problems with it slipping or moving or falling off. So far I have not encountered any problems with this unit at all and I am so glad I ordered two of them. It's a great Headset for a Great Price. It picks up well... sounds natural... everything a microphone should be...However, it is "one size fits ____" There is no way to adjust the width of the headset, so if it fits around your ear you are fortunate.
[EDIT: After using this for a while, I can tell you that it is painful on the ears for long time periods (over half hour). The foam windscreen is easily lost (and not so easily found) but it comes with a spare. Why I gave it four stars: because it is inexpensive and about the only thing that works with the sending pack (thanks to an odd mini input connection). I can put up with some discomfort and searching for the lost windscreen has become an oddly humorous activity.]

This mike works well. An incredible buy at $40. I wish I could position the condenser more in front of my mouth for singing, but I may be mistaken on that. It requires a bit more juice than other mikes but it has very good sound that I use for both singing in a band and DJing. I use it in conjunction with a PG4 receiver and PG1 transmitter. It is a setup that I love, excellent reception and sound.Wireless works wonders.

I will all the microphones that I have tried were as nice as this one... I am a Spin instructor and this one stays far away from my mouth and my sweat.. It seems to work fine at this time.
