Finally, I can watch internet videos from my laptop on my 42" plasma TV monitor with great audio and no noise at normal listening levels. I tried a 12 foot thin cable first, but it was noisy with a hum at normal listening levels. This cost a few dollars more, but worth every penny. If you have a VGA hookup on your TV, you can spend only $20 to connect your computer to your TV and home theater! The 15 foot length is perfect! Cmple SVGA Monitor Cable Gold-Plated 15 Ft.

I needed a high-quality cable to connect a laptop to an older HD TV since the DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable didn't transfer sound. I initially checked MonoPrice and saw their 15ft 3.5mm Stereo Male to 2RCA Male 22AWG Cable (Product ID 5600) looked 100% identical to this product and I decided to take a gamble on purchasing it from Amazon because of free two day shipping via Amazon Prime. I received the cable and I can confirm that it is manufactured by MonoPrice and is marked as such on each connector. The construction of the cable is great and it's not stiff at all. I was actually surprised at how pliable the cable was.Bottom line: It works great and I no longer have to deal with buzzing or noisy speakers when running a longer cable!

I tried using these cables to connect my PC's 3.5mm audio-out port to a sound system with RCA inputs. In my experience, there were two problems with these cables: firstly, while the connection at the RCA end was snug and secure, the 3.5mm connection never really seemed to "lock" in place; the connection to the PC always felt loose and easy to dislodge.Secondly, I had trouble with electronic interference from my wireless keyboard and mouse being picked up somewhere in the pipeline; there was a faint hum of electronic interference constantly, which picked up significantly in volume whenever I started using the mouse or keyboard. Once I disconnected this cable and reconnected the PC to the sound system using one of the cheap/thin 3.5mm cables (with an RCA adapter), the interference disappeared.
Considering that I had purchased this cable as an upgrade from the 3.5mm cable + adapter combo, I found these problems rather disappointing; I suspect that the loose connection on the 3.5mm end might have been the source of the interference problem. I plan to try to return these cables. We were looking for a way to connect our laptop to play through our stereo, and wanted something long enough so that we could edit our play lists from someplace other than standing over by the amplifier. Thanks for offering a reasonably priced answer to our quandary (just won a bet using the fifty cent word dujour).

I expected a normal thickness normal quality audio cable, it is thicker and the ends are better than expected. i run from my computer headphone jack to my stereo to get quality sound not computer sound. Even though the computer has a cheap jack somehow the sound is very good because the stereo is great and the cable is better than expected, and it came on time, no hassles.
