Excellent small amp/practice amp. Good, clean sound. Boost puts in a lot of overdrive. Good look, nice lines, very sturdy construction. It has something of industrial looking lines, a good look if you like it (I do). Small enought to fit almost anywhere. The cable that came with it seems to have sturdy construction. I have no complaints and no problems.

This amp as is excellent for a small venue, like as small meeting hall or church. Great amp for the price. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs a small amp.

I've had my Washburn Bad Dog 8 Watt Amp for about a year. This is a great little amp for practice and playing. In addition to clear sound or the gungy crunch I get from this guy, I have several effects pedals I hook up to it and my guitar. Unless I start playing publicly or really start to rock loud and hard in a country home, this is the perfect suburban apartment pactice amp. Don't let the small size or the low watts fool you. This amp is definately not for stage performace but, it suits my livingroom practice and playing needs. I've looked at bigger low watt amps that don't offer much more than a higher price tag. The small size makes it easy to leave out or store.

UPDATE: I saw a CRATE 15W amp with reverb on sale and decided to buy it. I'd been wanting an amp with reverb. The CRATE amp looked great but was too loud for my apartment even on the lowest settings and with my headphones. When using headphones on the lowest setting there was a loud hum and when I strummed my guitar I thought my head was going to explode. It took two days to get my hearing back and the ringing in my ears to to stop. I returned the amp and exchanged it for a Degitech Multi FX pedal that has a reverb feature. I'm still kicking myself for thinking I needed any other amp than my Bad Dog for my needs.

This is a nice little amp that is good for home practice only. I wouldn't bring it to my jam sessions as I just don't think it has the umph or the features to support playing against anything other than another Bad Dog. However, that being said, I am glad I bought it as it is a great size and the sound quality is good.
