The main reason I got this kit was for the "Extended 2-Year Warranty". Well, that's just a sheet of paper that says "Hold onto this sheet for proof of your extended warranty". I'll probably lose it, or it won't cover whatever may go wrong, anyway.

The pedal is okay, I guess...but I'd recommend shelling out an extra 20 bucks for a good M-Audio pedal that looks and feels like the real thing.

The headphones are cheap, but serve the purpose for my daughter. I have a nicer pair that I use when I need 'em.

The DVDs are basically just advertisements for Yamaha with a few tutorials thrown in.

The AC adapter is the only thing of value (which should be included with the keyboard). You can get the AC adapter by itself for cheaper. But it's only like $5 or $10 more to get this kit, so they kinda put you in a situation where you feel like you should buy it. Your call.

You should buy this accessory for keyboard. It's not expensive and comes with

some very needed accessories. I don't know if you need this to survive, but will

make your keyboard alot more fun.

I bought my keyboard at a pawn shop, and got what was the survival kit with it. When I saw this kit I ordered it and was suprised at what came with it. I really like the fact that it doesn't stop there, there is alot more on line that the DVD lets you know about, and I can't wait to get statred. Highly recommend!
