You can't beat this case, most battery cases are $100, this one is less than a third of the price and works honestly just as good and has a kickstand which is pretty cool. The only thing that kept me from giving this a 5 star rating was that when you take a picture at night and the flash goes off, it bounces off the case and back into the frame thus washing it out. If you want to take a shot at night the best bet would be to take it out of the case first. I had the iphone 5 in my pocket for a full year without a case so it's a bit hard going back to the thicker battery cases so I think this will just be left in my car and pulled out when I'm not going to be near a charger and need to charge up.First of all, heed my warning, this case will make your iphone 5 as thick as a brick. However, you should know what you are getting into because the extra battery is causing the thickness. I am on 7.0.1 and the case charges my iPhone 5 without any problem. One full charge of the battery will give you about 75% charge on your iPhone. Installation is bit tricky. Don't force your iPhone into the case. You need to take the bumper case out first. Insert the iPhone into the lightning cable, then put the bumper case on. It's much easier that way.Pros: the battery charges the iPhone very quickly it took it from 10% to 100% in just a couple of hoursThe use of microUSB means you don't have to buy Apple's expensive cables
Cons: the loss of the lightning port is a hassle. To sync it with your computer, you have to use WiFi (not reliable for a 64GB phone), or take it out of the case.
The cut-outs are deep it's hard to hit the power/lock button. You also have to use their adapter for the line-out because of the depth. You run the risk of getting headphone jack stuck if you don't.
The kick-stand is a nice extra, but it can be hard to pry out at times.
Overall, this has almost any feature I would want in a battery case for the iPhone, but it's got it's compromises.
(Used with the iPhone 5s)I just got this case for my iPhone 5S. My previous battery case, the Maxboost Air did not work with the iPhone 5S, only the 5 due to apple restricting the use of 3rd party non-certified charging devices. I can say 100% that this battery is certified for apple devices. You do NOT get any warning that the charging device isn't certified or may not work. The case works perfectly. Can take a 0% phone to 100%. Although I haven't dropped it just yet, seems pretty protective, no less than any other case. Seems more locked in than the maxboost. Really liking the case! Works perfectly!I am a heavy iPhone user with constant gaming and video streaming so I have to constantly charge my iPhone 5.I found this case very useful as I can use it as an external battery. Plus, it's powered by an micro usb cable so I don't have to bring the expensive lightning cable with me all the time. Granted, it makes the iPhone looks like a brick but I coped. At least it's a usable brick.
