I bought these as a short-term solution while I waited to get some custom-molded in-ear monitors, since money (of course) is an issue. I was amazed when I opened the package at the thought that had been given to presentation and protection right out of the box. The earbuds come in a hard plastic shell which feels nearly bulletproof (One issue is that you have to remove the custom-fit tips to store). Then, once I selected the proper custom-fit tips (they come with three pairs) I couldn't believe the way they went in my ears and would NOT fall out. Sound quality is better than you would expect at this pricenearly as good as the $250 dual-driver m-audio earbuds I was replacing. One fairly serious issue is the tendency to tangle very easilymake sure you wrap them around something between uses.
