On a whim, I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He has music in his soul, but no way to express it. I decided to purchase it because I could afford it and because it was a much better idea than just getting a little 32 key piano.

I had no clue it was so heavy and sturdy! And it is beautiful! It has a stand, so he can sit on a kitchen chair and play. It comes with headphones so that only he can hear himself practice the lessons (lessons come with it). The keys light up when you touch them and that helps the brain remember, especially for visual learners. And the sound is clear and true.

We live in small quarters, and I was wondering where we would put the thing. But he likes it so much that we keep it out, on the stand, and he can practice whenever he feels inclined and it isn't in our way at all.

I am so happy I decided to buy this! And my husband of 32 years wrote me this thank you note: "Thank you for an unexpected and wonderful gift of music. I have been practicing 4-5 days a week and am getting better, bit by bit." He gives it five stars, also.

I got this keyboard to try and get my kids to play, but I find myself playing it more than them. The lighted keys are a nice feature for learning, even for myself. It comes with lots of songs to learn, although too many Christmas/Holiday songs, in my opinion, but that is good for beginners, since they are pretty familiar tunes and it makes it easier to learn that way. The sound bank is good for a small keyboard and the sounds are of decent quality. The speakers might not be loud enough to play with an amplified accompanying instrument, but loud enough to practice and learn. It is very convenient that the kit includes a stand and headphones. The stand is a little flimsy and I wish it came somewhat pre-assembled (I ended up putting it together wrong, but that's because I did not pay enough attention to the instructions), but it can hold this keyboard just fine. I am happy with this purchase.

Bought this for our 3rd grade daughter, she is learning to play very easy on this and having fun with it too... it is bigger than the cheaper model, make sure you have room for it! :) But it stands up and/or can go under the bed if you need to store it out of the way, so not that much trouble to get in and out for playtime. The stand is a little wobbly, I'm not a big fan of it and we ended up just putting it on the desk for her to practice with, I kept thinking it was going to tip over and break. (Can you tell I have kids, always expecting something to fall and break! LOL) Very good value for the money.

This keyboard is excellent for teaching the kids how to play. I love the fact that the keys light up so you are not searching for the right key to play. It also plays the song so you can hear and see what it looks like to play. Overall, a great teacher!

Let me say this first...I like the keyboard. I love the light-up system and the learning mode.

My two complaints are about the speakers and the headphones that are included.

The speakers can't handle the keyboard's own volume at the top level and with certain keys at the next level down. When you press certain keys, there is that pesky vibration that small speakers make when they get overwhelmed.

The headphones are cheap. The adaptor broke the first day I got it and the port is one of those cheap headphone ports that breaks if you poke it too hard with your finger.
