I purchased this to try it out for a group music class becausethe portability of it looked fantastic. We were using a book
with CD for piano and the Fzone soft roll up piano was not in
tune with the CD which was in tune with a regular piano.
It was very out of tune, not just a little bit, after only
three times of rolling it up. I wanted to love this product,
but it would not work for my class. I was able to get a refund -
the third party supplier who sent it told me not to return it,
it was not something they were going to carry any longer.
I was very happy with the supplier but not with the product.

Octaves are close, but other intervals are not. cannot handle 3 notes at a time. hard to find your place on the smooth surface. it makes a cute toy for a child, but not very functionalRead Best Reviews of Fzone Soft Roll Up Piano Here
In one episode of Star Trek the Next Generation, Picard falls in love with a scientist who is also a musician. He encounters her exploring the ship for locations with interesting acoustics, and she unrolls her piano and plays. Here's that piano! I am an amateur composer, and it's so handy to have a keyboard right next to me at my computer for noodling out tunes and experimenting with chords. The concept is worth 5 stars, but it lost one because of a bug that makes it sound random wrong notes. Since I only doodle with it, it didn't seem worth the trouble to return it. But be aware you may also get the same bug. This would not be a "practical piano" but is a fun toy and perhaps would work as a teaching aid for a beginning piano student. It was a good deal as a "today's deal item.My eight year old loves this---he takes it to school on music day, and his teacher plays it for the whole class.
