Unfortunately, microphone started giving trouble shortly after I began to use. Intermittent cutting out and muffled sound or no sound at all. Earphones sounded good, though. Too bad I needed them to use with Skype.

Returned item. The return process through Amazon was the easiest and fastest I have ever used for internet purchases! Amazon is favorite place to shop.

Not the greatest headset in the world, but I doubt you can find one better for this price. Exactly what I was looking for (Cheap and good).

This item works just fine, however it is very cheaply made and I'm sure this will not last because of how weak and flimsy it feels.

I love these headphones. They have an inline volume control and an on/off switch for the microphone. The sound quality on both the mic and the headset are great. I'd been using fairly cheap headsets for a long time and I will never go back to them. These are perfect for any type of online audio application.

I don't normally write product reviews, but I felt obligated to write this one. The MINIamp has changed my life! My wife and I are elderly and quite hard of hearing. Hearing-aids don't do the trick for us. Watching DVD's and other video programs has become quite difficult and unpleasant -until we found the Behringer MINIAmp, that is. What a joy! It has made a huge difference. The sound is exquisite. My wife was formerly a professional muscian. She, too, raves about the sound. We can distinguish the first and second violins in a string quartet! The unit is simple to use, despite having two input sources and four headphone outputs. The price is truly unbelievable -a real bargain.

This isn't for anyone looking for a professional solution for a headphone amp, but for 99% of people, they just want something cheap that works, and this completes that job with extreme valiance! What a great buy! Works great, small and portable, 2 inputs and 4 channels. This means that you can have 4 headphones and on each channel you can switch between input 1 or input 2. I have this as input one is the feed before signal processing (dry) and input 2 is the signal after processing. Neat!

This headphone amp will serve my purpose well. It's plastic, and lightweight, so it seems a little less rugged than one might expect, or desire, but does the job. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually has 8 headphone jacks, four on the front panel and four on the back, but the level can only be controlled four the four main outs on the front panel. The unit has a source level and a headphone level control so you can easily get a nice strong signal and trim back the output volume with the headphone level.

I record a podcast and sometimes have 3 or more people joining me in the studio. The Behringer Ultra Compact Headphone Amp does the job, allowing us to all monitor our studio mics and whoever we're voice chatting with online for the show. I recommend it for podcasters who need extra headphone outs for co-hosts and guests.

You'll need headphones with 1/4 inch stereo phono plug, or an 1/8 in. to 1/4 in. adapter for headphones with smaller plugs.

If you're looking for a decent headphone amp and you're on a budget, this is the way to go. I've been a professional musician and audio engineer for 20 years now and I usually shy away from Behringer products, but I've been less than wealthy lately so I figured I'd give this a shot. It's loud, it works, and does what it says it does. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's very lightweight and made of plastic so I'm afraid if it ever takes a tumble it will wind up in pieces or just not work anymore. It also doesn't sound amazing.. I'm not saying it sounds bad, but I did notice a quality difference in audio when using it. That being said, this is a great tool for a home studio.

Odd as it sounds, I actually picked this up for use with Rock Band 2 (etc.) as it has 8(!) headphone outputs over four independent channels, everyone can hook in their own favorite headphones to play and not disturb others in the room (much) or improve their playing (turn up the instrument track and the rest down a bit, really helps with drum beats).

A few potential caveats/less than ideal features:

Sound quality is a bit less than audiophile, but not much more than good enough for everything but serious music listening.

ALL inputs/outputs are 1/4" stereo (yeah, the big kind) so most people will need adapters to plug in headphones, and you'll need dual 1/4" to RCA cables (see "DJ cables") to connect to a TV.

It may just be my TV, but I had to crank the input gain nearly to the max to get a good audio level. (Still more than enough volume and quality does not seem to suffer.)

Overall it works as advertised, despite being small and lightweight (in audio, generally the heavier the better). I'm very pleased with it.

This violin is great. Easy to tune. Holds a good tune. Sounds great. The bose system I added is a plus. Hits the high notes warmly.

WARNING. The violin does not come with strings, violin case, bow, etc. The picture is deceiving.

You have to set up the bridge and string in the strings that you must buy separately. Beginner's may have trouble doing this.

I received my Peavey two days ago and am reasonably surprised. I've been playing bass for two years and have been playing a Thunderbird out of a Kustom KB200 but wanted something a little smaller to haul to practice. The 158 MAX does alright. With only an 8 inch driver I have to turn it up to be heard over our drummer but it does the job. Tone isn't great but it's okay given the size of the amp. Construction is what you would expect out of a Peavey = SOLID. Another reviewer commented on problems with wiring but I think he had a fluke as Peavey as known for their construction (not necessarily their tone [it's no Eden]). All in all if your wanting a solid amp to practice with, do it. If this is going to be your primary you need to save your money and get something better. Now the details: Front grill is metal (as you would expect) and solid. Good solid state construction, and reasonable sound. Tone leaves something to be desired but it is a "practice" amp, not meant for show quality sound. Equalization is okay (1-low, 1-mid, 1-high). Has a line in and headphone jack that work fine. Voicing selector (modern & vintage) is pointless. Modern just makes the sound more silent, I wont ever take mine off Vintage (with only an 8 inch driver you'll need all the volume you can get). You get what you pay for, this is a totally reasonable practice amp but I wouldn't pay over $80.

I love the input for my Ipod! Great little amp for practice by myself! Nice tone on it! I am not going to play too loud for practice anyhow! Need some Dimple Pinch and a guitar player!

Purchased to use with my acoustic electric guitars as it produces a nice sound for a reasonable price. Works well jamming with my bandmates weekly.

I was in the market for a smallish bass practice amp and I tried this one out at the local Guitar Center with my own bass, just to give it a shot. I agree with the other reviewer, the sound quality is terrible at any level, it sounded like I was using distortion even at the lowest volume setting. This is essentially what I expected out of a bass amp with an 8" speaker, and I'm a big fan of Peavey bass amps. I'm not sure what this amp is useful for except to just hear oneself playing. In my opinion, even a small bass amp should have at least a 12" speaker in order to sound good. In amps with only one speaker, guitars can get away with smaller, but not basses.

When I first received this there was no sound at all. I started to investigate what was wrong. First the the control panel which houses all the switches and inputs and outputs was loose. I took the control panel out to see if anything was not hooked up but it seemed fine. The two screws on top were not screwed in and that was why it was loose. I fixed that issue but still no sound. So I pulled off the screen and then pulled the speaker and found that one of the wires to the speaker was not plugged in.

So now I have sound coming out but it still sucks. It has massive hum at anything above 1/3rd volume. When I turn it off it picks up a radio signal for 5 seconds or so and I hear a radio station through the speaker.

I am a rookie musician who has only owned one other guitar amplifier but compared to that one (epiphone) this Peavey 158 is a piece of junk!

I made the mistake of ordering this online so it is probably not worth the hassle of tring to return since I will have to pay shipping at least one way, maybe both.

Dont buy this one, go for the Fender.

I've been a drummer since I was 10 ( am 52) and I never was able to play at home without the yelling. So, I got a set of Alesis Drums and this little JamDock and my life has been complete. Just plug in your head set, put your Apple device in the cradle, plug your drums...or your guitar...or keyboard or anything else you can run a 1/4" jack from and you can play along till your hearts content. Control your instrument volume and the music volume separately. This thing is the BOMB.

Great idea, but it does not work. I have an iPod Classic, and iPod was plenty loud, actually too loud. I couldn't control volume on the iPod itself only through the master volume control. Barely adjusting the master volume control, say 5-10%, it was extremely loud! It washed out the input signal, and when I did get the input loud enough it was EXTREMELY distorted. Thought I had a bad unit but Alesis support gave me the run around, suggested the unit was perfectly fine, and I did not know how to adjust the volume controls! Clearly I can operate two knobs. Unhappy about this unit and experience, I now question ever purchasing any Alesis products in the future. Also wish it would have came with the percussion mount for the drum rack.

The product does exactly what it says on the box. The instrument-in jacks save on mixer inputs, the product is low-noise. My only criticism, and the reason it didn't get 5 stars, the cable from the power adapter to the JamDock is just too flimsy for real-life gigging. I have put a sleeve around it to help protect it but this was a thoughtless oversight.

Well I've tried some of the "no name" I-junk out there, and I think I finally have a winner.

Long ago I realized I wasn't going to be playing pro bass guitar but I still want something easy to use that sounds good.

I'm not doing anything fancy. No mixing, no play-along. Video might be nice but I don't really care. I just wanna hear the music.

I run my Classic into a couple of Mackie monitors. I am a happy guy! It's a little clunky no remote, and you still need to scroll through your mixes with your iPod. Not perfect but it works for me!

After toying with amateur-grade kid stuff.... I recommend! Alesis to the rescue, thank you!!
