Not a bad little amp for what it is. VERY handy for portable practice, just got back from 2 weeks at the beach and it served wonderfully with my BluesHawk. I purchased this amp to add some sonic flavor to my series of battery operated amplifiers. I have 2 Roland products a Micro Cube and a Cube RX, 2 Vox amps a D5 and D10 repsectively. The light weight and battery powered capabilities are this amp's best features. It can produce pretty good volume for such a small amp, but 6 watts and a 6.5" speaker can only push so much volume at the lower end. Lower register notes or chords on an electric guitar can easily overwhelm the amp, producing a rumbling muddy mush of sound. It has a nice range of effects, but you get far more options from a basic $50 multi-effects pedal. You can run a mike into it (you'll need a 1/4 jack or adapter), but the vocals won't be a heck of a lot louder than singing out loud without distortion. Unless the battery powered capability is crucial, I'd pass on this and get a basic 15-20 watt amp and multi-effects pedal for the same price. You'll get a much better sound.

This was a gift for our son who is a percussionist and a member of a jazz band. He is moving to an apartment and needed an authentic sounding drum set for practicing which would not be a problem for near by neighbors. I wanted a good set of electronic drums to play in my house without disturbing the whole family. I looked at a set of used Roland's but decided to buy a new set of Kat drums at a cheaper price. I don't think you can beat the Roland brand but you have to pay top dollar for them. I just wanted a quality product that sounded good for personal use. My brother owns a set of Roland td6 drums and he played a set of Kats and said he would opt to buy the new Kat over the used Roland's. I purchased the KT2 set and I must say I love them. All of the toms are dual heads and the controller is awesome. You can do just about anything you want to. Set up was very easy (about an hour). The only thing I can say that I'm not 100% happy with is the ride cymbal. It is not as loud as the crash but I ordered the expansion pack that includes another head and crash cymbal. First let me give credit where it is due. I have owned my KAT kit for about 3 1/2 months. Through the failure of first high-hat pad after about 2 months, then the main controller and high-hat pedal about a month later, the KAT company has been reasonable in replacing these items. However, now after about a week after playing "another" new high-hat pad, the pad has stopped working! Whether this is the pad or the main controller ("brain") I do not know. I have called the local music store where I had purchased the kit and he is going to call the company and have them send another pad. I am hoping that the company will continue to replace these items as they fail.

I was in love with these headphones until one day after about three weeks worth of ownership, the left speaker just died for no apparent reason. I have taken great care of the product and it has malfunctioned on its own which in my opinion demonstrates a product defect. The atrocious spelling and grammar in the instruction manual was almost -but not quiteenough to make me return this item. I tried it out, and found that the speaker on the left side intermittently dropped out. Mine worked OK but don't buy these unless you are very familiar with Bluetooth pairing. The manual is totally incomprehensible in English. Maybe the French is better. Probably would have been more useful if they'd just left it in Chinese instead of trying to translate. We had a Baby Grand Stienway and this Yamaha key board is so close to that sound and the feel of weighted keys that it is hard to believe. My wife loves it and our grand kids do too. My son is a musician and he recommended a lesser variation of this Yamaha model but when you get this one, you get much more for the money. He was suprised and agreed this was the one to get. We also got the foot pedal, bench seat and a few other related goodies besides the keyboard stand, the JVC headphones, dust cover and power plug in adapter that came with the keyboard. I ordered this item because I thought I could use it as an adapter for the cable in my car. It didn't work as I thought it would but with that said, the item still arrived as described and was delivered in a timely fashion. Plus, it was really cheap so I really didn't risk much.It did not work for hooking up my android phone via USB. It came fast and in great shape. I only got this because I broke the input jack on the mac. There is a significant lag time in the unit. With garageband you can fix this when you record. But, you can't play along with anything because of this lag. Sound quality is marginal. I'll probably have to run things through an effects peddle and split the sound so I can play along with stuff. What a pain. The installation driver disk is a mini so you can't put it in the mac books. If you do you will never get it out. However, I found you don't need it. arrived on time in great condition. works great now but is not an easy plug n play like it says. you may need to download some drivers and mess with your audio settings. try that before you think of returning.I purchased this item as a lower cost alternative to the official Rocksmith adapter for my xbox and I am glad I did. High quality item; you won't be disappointed.I only spent about an hour on it so far but I could not get it to work with Audacity and the recording software that came with it is a joke. Could not get it to work with that either, but maybe I could if I decide to invest more time.
