I am using the Shure se535 headphones. These earbuds are the only earbuds that I can use to keep them comfortable in my ears.

Most of the other earbuds hurt my ears... fall out... or just never get a good fit.

I really like these earbuds

It is a great idea to have a retractable aux cord for my smartphone to car stereo, but the sound quality is lacking. There is crackling when the cord is moved. For the price...it is okay, but I would suggest buying a higher quality aux cord.

I bought 6 of these. I gave 3 away to my grandchildren and have one in my car, one in my summer trailer and a spare. The jacks work with any MP3 player. Great tool, great value.

I wanted a grey cable to replace one like it for a set of grey speakers...this works for that purpose..

I've had it for 10 months now and I have another one like this that I bought from a retail store over a year ago and both still work great.

The build quality seems good. RCA plugs have thicker rims than most cheap cables which makes 'em fit snugly.

And of course it has a must have "extended" 1/8in tip so it fits perfectly into iProduct and other phones with its case on.

The only thing I wish Griffin would make this cable in shorter version too, like 3ft.

Not a bad kit, be aware that it might not include the dummies book and cd, but if you complain you could get a partial refund!!,

Anyway, its a lot of fun and sounds good through head phones. still havent figured out a good set up for amplification, but a guitar amp sounds a bit dodgy with this one.

Also the hi hat pedal is not very responsive, and bass drum not very loud, but I dont know if thats common with electronic drums, works fine after a bit of getting used to it.

All in all, not a top of the line, but neither is the price, a nice toy.. do it

Small, light (less weight than, say, an industrial lunchbox computer), fairly loud for its size, built like the proverbial tank, no unwanted extras. And it's cheap! (Sixty at my local GC.) It has a very nice clean sound, which you can dirty up a bit via the built-in overdrive (there's a button and a gain dial). I especially like that, unlike many competing products, this amp is free from the usual multitude of built-in effects. My view is, if I need something, I'll hook up a pedal; good clean sound is all I need from a "bedroom" amp -and I don't want to pay for what I don't need; from that standpoint the 10G looks ideal. This thing is good for practice and no-drums creative sessions with friends. Five stars.

This is a good enough everyday, low volume, small apartment-ready practice amplifier. The volume gets actually louder, and it stays clean as long as you don't have the guitar dialed to 10 and hit the strings like a mad man, in which case it distorts the sound even in the clean channel.

You shouldn't use this for practicing with your band, it was not designed for it.

As for the sound quality, well, if you want tone you will have to pay for it... this thing is just to listen to what you are doing during your practices.

I've got it plugged to my Stratocaster and my PC from which I play the tunes I practice along with. Works fine in that setting.

One little caveat is that once you play what you practice with your 10G in a real amp... you might hear some mistakes you couldn't really listen to before due to the compressed sound of this little speaker.

Advice: place it against the wall, in a corner, and the bass and overall tone will improve substantially.

The amplifier far exceeded my expectations. The sound that it produces is outstanding. It is much better than my $200 amplifier which is much bigger and heavier. The overdrive button is amazing. This 10 lb. product will be very mobile and when considered with the quality of the sound, I will likely never use my larger, more powerful and more expensive amplifier. I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

There are two reasons why you are trying to decide whether or not to buy this amp: You are buying this for someone who is just starting to get into playing guitar (maybe yourself) , or you already know what you're looking for and just need confirmation from reviews to buy it. Let's be clear, this is just the amp you need. It has exactly the right amount of control over the sound Bass, Treble, Volume, for each of the Distortion/Clean channels). You don't need more than that, and you shouldn't have less than that. The sound is clean and of good quality for both an amp this small, and an amp this inexpensive. It also has a 1/8" headphone jack and 1/8" input, the latter which I haven't used yet, but could come in handy, I guess. Of course, the main feature of this amp is its small size (and complimentary big sound). I kept the box to transport this little guy around; the amp is very portable and useful. This amp is the vertex of features, quality, and PRICE! I cannot recommend a better amp than this for a budding guitarist, or as a second amp for your apartment/office/bedroom.

My "office" became a nursery recently, so I now have about 16 square feet for my "man cave" (i.e a corner in the rec room). The amp I bought 30 years ago was small, crackley and still too big for my diminished territory. Heavy, too.

This amp fits on a small shelf along with my effects box. I have yet to turn the volume above 2, so I can't review it as well as others. But I can say that this amp -until you use it -looks like a miniature novelty version of a classic Fender amp, but it is no novelty. It is LOUD. Great for practicing and goofing around with my effects, yet I have to believe you could play a gig in a decent sized room with this amp. A tremendous amp in a small package.

I am very happy with this purchase; Some added features would have made this product a fabulous buy though.

cons:

a) The LCD display is not backlit and has a small viewing area. It is extremely difficult to read it.

b) The keyboard body has notations for each key, but is engraved on the body, and it being the same body color, it is impossible to read those notations even in the day light.

c)It cannot record your voice. It is important if you want to compose and transmit through midi.

d) In the learning section, it would have been helpful if there was a 'slow' playback function too.

Pros:

a) Light weight

b) Grand piano is an excellent feature. Very good for piano learners, until they buy full size piano of their own.

c) Great features.

d) YESS learning suite is simply fabulous.

This model is far better than casio 496, which I was planning to buy earlier.

Great purchase...I like it.

Casio and Radio Shack also force you to buy an adapter for their keyboards so there is no way to avoid it but to buy a much more expensive keyboard or buy Sharper Image. But don't do that because Sharper Image's keyboard is awful, just awful. This keyboard doesn't have as many voices and styles as it's big brother the 300 but it does sound as nice. It also sounds better then the Casio $99 keyboard. I tested them all out at the store where they were on display and the Yamaha 300 and 200 had equal quality with the piano voice and beat out the Casio hands down. They also beat out the more expensive Casios. Plus, music stores that sell nothing but instruments carry only one brand, yup, Yamaha. At least the music stores here in Maryland.

As for some other users mine was advertised (on eBay) as having touch-sensitive keys. Unfortunately, the YPT-200 does not (I only found this out after receiving it)... it's the next higher model, the YPT-300, that does. I was sorely disappointed by that, because no touch-sensitive keys means no expressive playing whatsoever. Just imagine every single note being the same volume and intensity throughout a song and understand what I mean (monotonous).

Going hand-in-hand with that is key feel. This keyboard (perhaps most keyboards without hammer action) felt very plasticky/springy, not like a real piano at all. Of course not being touch-sensitive just added to my disorientation. I haven't tried the YPT-300 with touch-sensitive keys but it's my suspicion that it is well worth the extra $.

Another thing I was very unimpressed with was the Yamaha Education Suite. It flashes notes on a tiny LCD screen while playing a song to you. Then somehow you are supposed to learn how to play it back to it. There were a couple of nice songs built into the keyboard that I'd have loved to learn, but gave up in frustration after several days. It would have been much better if 1) instead of notes flashing on the tiny LCD screen, have individual LEDs above each key that would light up when a song was being played by the keyboard, and 2) if sheetmusic for the songs the keyboard tries to teach you was included. Ultimately I think a beginner could learn how to play songs much quicker by spending a little bit of time learning how to read sheetmusic than by relying on the Yamaha Education system.

In conclusion, don't think of the Yamaha Education suite as anything of value, and the lack of touch-sensitive keys should make one seriously think twice about even considering this keyboard for anything but child's play.

-If you are buying this keyboard for the sound quality, don't. At least for the model I have the sound quality is poor, (like a speaker mounted in a tin can). Sounds more like a toy model even with headphones. True for the grand function too.

-The keyboard was advertised as touch sensitive, mine was not.

-This is good enough for a beginner, or for messing around on which is why I am keeping it.

-I recommend buy a re-furb since you are not going to gain anything sound quality wise by buying new.

I have not really tested the product yet, BECAUSE there is no power adapter included. It needs to be ordered separately. You need to order the Yamaha PA3C or PA3B Power Adapter (unless you already have one of course [haha]). Both of these are mentioned on the box as possible adapters. If you read the description on Amazon's site carefully you will find that it only mentions the PA3B, which is not available via amazon. However, the PA3C is possible to order, so get it as well in case you are considering this product. Just figured that all potential buyers should be aware of the issue. The lack of an adapter was not clearly emphasized (it is in the fine print)in the product description. Hmmm! I was not very happy at the moment I realized it.......
