I got mine at Costco for $59. The sound is affected by placement. If you place it in a corner, you'll load the bass more. If the speaker are at ear level, they sound best. Bottom line is accurate reproduction of sound and this speaker stands out in that regard.Buy Behringer Inuke Boom Junior Now
Got mine at Costco. Have had it for a month maybe. Sound quality is amazing. Bass is loud and clean, treble is sharp and clear. Mids are good. Can be played loud without distortion. Remote controls Ipod as well as the boom box. I hate to say it bit it definitely beats my $279 Bose Sounddock!5 stars!

Just received my new Junior Behringer today, for under $100 including delivery and state sales taxes from the big box retailer I'm a member of (Costco). It's replacing a Logitech S715i and the difference in the sound is beyond comprehension. The German made Behringer has much bigger speakers inside the unit along with both bass and treble controls both on the included remote and the top of the main unit to go along with the volume controls. Since it also weighs more than double that of the Logitech it's understandable that the sound reproduction is more realistic and full. I also own an ikicker and would have to rate the Behringer slightly ahead in sound qualty as well although it's not quite as portable, not having a convenient grip. The only negatives are that it's quite difficult to install the lithium battery for the remote control. Also the instruction manual could be improved with more attention to detail as it doesn't even mention use of the remote's battery and how long it should last.I'm using the Behringer exclusively for music and my Apple IPOD's ITUNES library and couldn't be happier!I got mine from Costco for $79 + tax + shipping. Anyhow, it has decent bass, but other than that it's annoying to listen to. There are few songs when played on this speaker, it's unbearable to listen to. I tried control bass and treble, but doesn't help. My cheaper Logitech USB hub speakers sounds much better.
