After a 2 month wait I at long last I have it!!! Love the Korg Kaossilator 2. Only real con is the plastic case seem a bit flimsy.

So far I have had tons of fun with it and have not read the very short manual. Come on Korg such a wonderful and complex tool should have a a bit more how too, not 6 mini pages. I also have the Korg mini KP 2. It has 6 demo loops that I can not play as not on the menus and not in the 5 page manual.

Though my experience with Austin Bazar has not been the greatest.

Sega so far has been, a month to ship a claimed in stock item, a missing part (a/c power supply) and a wrong part sent a full size SD card instead of a micro SD card.

So the Krog Kassilator 2 get 4.5 stars. Austin Bazar only gets 2 stars at least this order.

Ok revisting Austin Bazar has been working hard to resolve things so tomorrow should resolve things and then I will bump them up to 4 stars.

Pros: Sounds much more balanced than the typical fashion headphone at this price, good pads, in-line 3-way headphone splitter, cable feels nice and durable

Cons: Quite a bit of clamping force, build is pretty plasticky and cheap, sound is congested

Thanks to iDance again for the review sample!

Now, you might be thinking to yourself right now, 'Why would a company name their headphones 'Kiss Me?"

Or possibly, "They look strange, and probably sound worse."

Surprisingly, the iDance Kiss Me is not bad.

Unlike some other iDance headphones I have reviewed, these have proven to be surprisingly decent.

These come with a voucher for two softwares: PCDJ 3DEX LE (a DJ software) and Magix Mufin (a music player)

Build and Design While the Kiss Me headphones look blatantly flashy and toy-ish, they actually feel quite well madeat least compared to the other iDance headphones I've tried. While they are completely made out of plastic, I don't believe that they are prone to any kind of build problems. Headband is pretty flexible, and features a decent amount of padding on the underside. The earpads on the cups have a good amount of foam inside of them, however, they are somewhat stiff.

The cable is of a flat variant, and features a unique headphone splitter on it with two extra jacks. Cable terminates to a standard 90 degree 3.5mm jack.

Comfort and isolation The Kiss Me headphones are quite tight on the ears, so prolonged usage may become uncomfortable. I do have a somewhat large head, so the clamping force may vary.

Isolation is somewhat sub-par for a closed back headphone. I can easily hear outside noises protruding into tracks. I would even consider the isolation to be around the same level of some semi-open headphones, like the V-Moda Crossfade series.

Sound I certainly wasn't expecting too much from these, but I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged them in and started playing some of my favorite tunes. The sound is much more balanced than I expected. Sure, the bass is still somewhat emphasized, but certainly not as much as a lot of other fashion headphones in this price range.

Bass Like I said, the bass is still accentuated, but it is much more clean than a lot of other fashion headphones that I've tried. It's got some warmth to it as well. It's a little bloated, but not to the extent that I've commonly heard with other fashion headphones.

Mids Like a lot of these headphones aimed at fashion, mids tend to be non-existent. That's somewhat true here, but I can easily hear more mids with the Kiss Me than something like the EarPollution Mogul, which is also in the fashion headphone realm.

Highs I would consider the highs on the Kiss Me to be laid back for certain. There is a lot more treble presence on these than so many fashion headphones that I've tried. No, I wouldn't really call them something to write home about, but definitely worth mentioning.

Soundstage Everything sounds so congested with these headphones. Practically no real width or depth to the sound.

Overall I'm quite impressed with these, for sure. I wouldn't generally recommend them to the average consumer, nor Head-Fi'er (for obvious reasons). If there's something about the appearance that you might find appealing, these would possibly be 'okay'.

One can certainly get better value for the price of $50, but, like I said, if the appearance is what you're after, then go for it.

I was looking for new headphones and after hours of searching the internet and asking on forums, I chose on these.

They came packaged nicely, were incredibly light (which is what I wanted) and felt solidly built. They had a very annoying squeak when you tilted the ear-cups, but that was probably the chrome rubbing on the plastic.

I'm not a huge audiophile nor am I a DJ, so the only other headphones I can compare these to is the Turtle Beach Z6A headphones (which broke a lot) and the random pair of Sony ear buds I had lying around. The Reloops sounded MUCH better than both of these, but were also incredibly tight and felt like they were crushing my skull. I tried everything I could to loosen them up without breaking the headset or severely disfiguring it, but they were just too tight. I have a large head so it probably isn't the fault of the headphones.

Still, they didn't feel worth $85. I sent these back and bought $30 Panasonic headphones and say they sound just as good as these Reloops, and they fit my head.

I've ordered two pairs of these already, and BOTH have come with the metal ring on the exterior of the right ear cup detached. I know this is purely cosmetic, but what gives??? I feel that if I simply try to glue it back on (even though they are obviously glued on in the first place), it will likely begin to rattle, and I simply should not have to glue ANY item as soon as I pull it out of the box. After my second return, the third set is on its way. This is ridiculous, you are 0-2 Reloop, three strikes & you are out! Really makes me think twice about the quality of your controllers as well. Big ups to Amazon for their awesome hassle-free return policy.

This seemed like a great deal to supplement my Beyer Dynamics 770 Pro's and Sennheiser HD 25's with a nice set of travel cans for iphone & such: value price, fold & pivot, detachable cord, additional straight cable (not included in either package), extra ear pads w/the choice of on-ear and circumaural (nice touch); but if it comes in pieces straight out of the box, one has to undoubtedly question the item's durability. If the third set arrives intact, I will use them everyday for 29 days to see if they hold up.

Sound: They are pretty nice. A lil more boomy than professional reference monitors, but that's what I wanted. Not so much for the studio, but def tight for gigs & such. The boom muddles up the mids just a touch, but it does not sound bad, and the highs are on point. Perfect for traveling DJ's who don't need expensive monitors. They probably need some burn-in time to be certain, but I was really happy with the sound for the price.

Don't be fooled, much of the shiny part is actually plastic, but the headband is metal, & although they are very light, they feel quite sturdy overall. They bend well, and you can basically put the ear cups anywhere oh your head you would like (w/in reason).

The phones probably don't deserve two stars, they sound great and have some extra bells & whistles, but two returns is absolutely frustrating, and you can be certain that if the third pair arrives in the same condition that rating will go down to a one star! If that happens, I will NEVER purchase anything from reloop again, and I just happen to be in the market for a new MIDI controller. Hmmm...

Bought this as a gift. Hopefully it's what he is looking for. Quality looks nice. The headphones feel sturdy, yet fold up nicely.

I bought it to do podcast. It is as simple as plug and play. I still had to make some adjustment to the sound for garage band. But overall, I like it very much.

Buy Blue Microphones Snowball Plug-and-Play USB Microphone Bundle with Headphones, Earbuds, and Pop Fil Now

The kit contains, the Blue Snowball Microphone, a pop-up blocker, and a earphone and headset.

The microphone is ballin' as usual (I've used my friends couple times, and they were great)

it didn't have any problem.

I gave 3 star because the pop-up blocker was very hard to install and use. it just doesn't give you the flexibility to put it front of your microphone.

also the headsets and earphones that comes with the set are made out very cheap so it doesn't have the quality.

although, I did like the earphone because how hallow it sounds, but that might just be me. maybe I don't know what studio quality headphones are suppose to be like? but I doubt it :P

I was very excited to receive my new Blue Snowball, but when I connected it to GarageBand, NOTHING.

Well, thank goodness for Amazon reviewers!--as I read that several people complained that the USB cable was faulty--which turned out to be the case for me as well. So I'm using an old USB cable that I had lying around, and now it works just fine. I have NO COMPLAINTS about the mic itself, but I REEALLLLY like it when things work out-of-the-box, like they are supposed to. Quality control is an essential part of ensuring that you have a quality product overall...So big minuses for this inconvenience.

Also, the pop filter doesn't fit the mini-mic stand that shipped with the mic, and I'll have to buy a longer stand in order to use it properly. The headphones are not the best quality either, but I suppose you can't expect much for this price--HOWEVER, for the SAME price I could have, and possibly SHOULD have, opted for a higher quality non-USB mic, (like the Shure SM58) and just connected it to my audio interface instead.

Want Blue Microphones Snowball Plug-and-Play USB Microphone Bundle with Headphones, Earbuds, and Pop Fil Discount?

I love this mic. It is USB so that may cause an issue if you are trying to incorporate this into a multi mic setup, but if you are a sound engineer and know WTF you are doing then Im sure you will find a way.

I have used it directly connected to my pc (Win 8) and my buds pc (Win 7) and it worked great. I have not tested it with a mixer as there wasnt a connection option for usb mic.

There is a sound selector mode on the mic. 1,2,3 are the modes. I have tried them all but honestly didnt notice a big difference. I do primarily voice recording for podcasting and such so you may get more diversity when using musical instruments.

Oh I almost forgot... the headphones are literally trash. Seriously, if you said you were just going to throw away the phones that came with it I wouldnt even trip. The pop filter is great though so you might as well get the package because the mic and pop filter together are going to cost you as much as this package. If you get a better deal minus the phones then.... do it.

This is great for voice overs and it so cute when sitting on the desk. However if you plan on being a super star and recording music that has a specific clarity, then you may want to look at this brands other microphones. But this worked really well for those you tube voice overs!

I've been playing the violin for almost nine years now, and I thought this would be a good present to myself for the amount of time I've spent on one thing, and I also got this because I've always wondered what it would be like to play an electric violin. I have a lot to say so I'll just lay it out into pros and cons (:

Pros:

-It's just like playing an electric guitar, but it's a violin. You can use all the amps and distorters you want, and it sounds absolutely awesome.

-For the price, this is an excellent instrument. The strings are brand new, the finish on the violin is beautiful (I got mine in black metallic), and it has a great tone.

-It's very lightweight. It and the case together weigh less than holding my oboe (whilst cased).

-I received it within four-five days of buying it.

-The case was much better than I expected. It's actually a hard case (I couldn't tell from the picture) and has a pocket for storing things on top of it and a pocket/cubby inside to put your rosin in.

-If you don't have a bow or rosin, it comes with both. (I already had both, so I'm using my bow and my rosin because I prefer them, but it's all a personal decision, really.)

Cons:

-It's very hard to tune. When you get the instrument, the strings aren't tuned whatsoever (which is fine) but trying to tune them was a bit of a pain seeing as how the strings have not been stretched out yet. I keep having to retune every ten-twenty minutes. This isn't really a problem of the manufacturer, that's just how violin strings are, so if you're not aware of that/don't have much experience/are scared you'll break a string, you might want to do what I did and go to a music store that has someone who knows what they're doing in the way of stringed instruments and have them tune it for you. If you do this, it will still get out of tune, but it will take longer, and it won't go as flat. Eventually, it will cease to un-tune itself.

-You will need to buy your own shoulder rest. In addition to this, there is not really a good place in the case to put a shoulder rest. This isn't a big problem, however, and it's easily solvable. I just unscrewed the legs from mine and put the legs and pad next to the scroll (in the case).

Overall, one of the best purchases I've made as of late, and I can't believe I ever lived without an electric version of my favourite instrument!

First off, I'm not a professional violinist, but I have played the instrument for a number of years. Also, I've only had this instrument for a little less than a week... but I WILL keep updating this review as time goes on. Finally, I ordered this off Amazon. I cannot speak to the products received from another company.

My bottom Line: To purchase this instrument at such a low price is a fantastic deal. Growing up, playing the violin, it was hard if not impossible to find a quality instrument at such a low price (I spent $125 on this instrument). Of course, this package does have some flaws. Below is an in-depth review, so let's get down to it.

THE INSTRUMENT

Pros:

This is a solid-body electric violin, meaning no feedback!!

The instrument has a sturdy, strong feel.

The bridge, tailpiece, & chin-rest are fantastic (no issues).

The pegs were not broken or damaged in any way.

Contains three perfectly fine 1/8" jacks (Line Out, Mic, Phone) on the underside.

Decent control knob for volume, another for tone.

9v Battery included in case (on/off switch located near battery compartment).

Acoustic production: This is indeed a remarkably quiet violin (when not listening to it through headphones or speakers, of course).

Plays well with others, you can plug it into your amp, your macbook, etc.

Garageband works great with this instrument. It's a lot of fun playing around with all the amps/stompbox effects, and this is something I'm still exploring. Absolutely awesome.

Cons:

Being a solid body, it won't sound the same as an acoustic. But if you have a fantastic pair of headphones with new strings (more on that later) this instrument can sound very, very nice.

To spoil your surprise, the included headphones are the worst of any pair I've EVER used (including airline-provided). I'm using Grado SR-80i headphones (which are amazing all on their own).

Acoustic sound: The sound quality is not very good without headphones or speakers that are loud enough to cover up the acoustic production. That being said, it is an electric violin.

It is just a tad bit heavier than my acoustic violin.

The pegs slip. Others claim they don't, but perhaps it's because I live in a tropical environment. Regardless, when I'm tuning the instrument or replacing the strings, I don't want any slippage period. Fortunately, I knew of this issue before buying and picked up "The original peg drops by ardsley" here on amazon for $7.45. Once I applied a drop, the issue went away instantly. I'm extremely glad I bought the peg drops, and I imagine I'll have them the rest of my life.

I'm not a fan of the included strings. They sound weak and loud. I substituted them with D'addario's Pro Arte medium tension perlon core string set, which have a much fuller and richer sound, in my opinion.

Someone mentioned paint coming off (I ordered the black model). I noticed some very tiny black specks on my fingertips, but this is minimal.

No shoulder rest included (but that's expected).

Overall: Changing strings and applying peg drops requires a certain comfort level, but I'm sure you could bring it into any violin shop worth their salt and they could change the strings for you for free if you so desire (provided you purchase new strings from them). The instrument is really what you pay for, and it's still a steal if this was all you received at a little over $100.

THE BOW

Pros:

Good arch in the stick.

Perfectly good horsehair (no adhesive present in the horsehair).

Screw/mechanics of bow worked perfectly.

Overall, I'm very surprised and impressed. I was expecting a worthless bow, but this is in fact a much higher quality bow than what I received in rental packages as a kid.

Cons:

None, just make sure you apply some rosin!

ROSIN:

Pros:

Fine quality rosin.

Cons:

I received dark rosin instead of the light rosin which was pictured.

CASE:

Pros:

Room for two bows.

Compartment for rosin, peg drops, etc.

Cloth to cover violin included.

Compartment on outside to store music, shoulder-rest, etc.

Has backpack straps.

Cons:

Zippers are cheap.

No locks, just velcro overflaps and zippers to secure violin in case.

No room for shoulder-rest on the inside, must squeeze it into the outside zipper compartment.

Cloth to cover violin contains no cushion.

ACCESSORIES:

Headphones are terrible, don't plan on using them.

The 90 degree 1/8" male plug to 1/4" male plug aux cable has completely stopped working after a few days. This is unacceptable, but somewhat expected. I'm currently contacting customer service so that I may receive a new one to use and review. Will keep you updated.

OVERALL:

You will need new strings, peg drops, an extension cable (I purchased a 20 ft female 1/4" jack to 1/8" plug at radioshack for about 10 bucks), headphones/earbuds, and patience. That being said, this is still a fantastic deal. This instrument is way more than playable.

**Update** 06/13/2012

Concerning the faulty aux cable, I contacted Cecilio Musical Instruments and I promptly received a helpful response. They sent me a replacement for my faulty cable at no charge, and it just arrived today. After testing the cable, I can say it is completely functional.

I'm continuing to enjoy this violin, and I will provide a further update to this review in a few months time.

And it's not just the looks, this electric violin sounds surprisingly good when using headphones or amplifier. The bow is nice. It definitely needs a shoulder rest, some better rosin and a better set of strings, but for the price, this is wonderful. The line out jack does not seem to work (or I couldn't figure it out), but the phones jack works just fine for the amp. The price was even better after google'ing it ;) Nice as a gift to my dad.

Want Cecilio 4/4 CEVN-1W Solid Wood Electric/Silent Violin with Ebony Fittings in Style 1 - Full Size - Discount?

I bought this violin so I could practice quietly in my new apartment, since I have neighbors on both sides. It does the trick! I would never use it for performance, simply because the sound quality isn't awesome, but it is perfect or practicing. The headphones are absolute junk, so I don't use those, but I use my bose headphones. The strings understandably stretched quite a bit at first, so it was hard to keep it in tune, but after about 3 days, we were good to go with just minor adjustments. I like the fact that I can use my regular shoulder rest with it. My fingers did turn a little black from the fingerboard or strings at first, but that is minor and didn't last. Overall, I feel that I got quite a bargain, but again, it is perfect for practice but not at all a performance instrument.

My package just arrived today. A few things I noticed right away are that the action on the violin is TOO high and many things in the package are iffy. The bridge needs to be a bit lower than the one included. The top etching of the fretboard for the strings to come over is done badly. The headphones are horrible. The cable doesn't work AT ALL. I had to put an adapter on my guitar cable to replace the one in the package. I almost thought the violin electronics were bad. The strings sounded horrible, they need replaced instantly. My bow came crooked, Very CROOKED. The hairs were all put in the bow uneven. I will have to replace this. The rosin is the cheapest I've seen but luckily that works. Overall the violin is just barely playable, which I guess is all I can expect. I at least wish that the bow was better and that the cable worked. Can Amazon replace this for me? I hope. I should have bought from KK Music for a better replacement policy...

Edit: An Amazon rep is requesting me a refund for the bow and cable!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The first thing I noticed about the Belkin Headphones is that they are super comfortable. Normally, I am aware that I am wearing earbuds, they shift or fall out or I fiddle with them to get them right in my ears or they feel uncomfortable, but the Belkin headphones with the standard buds they came packaged in fit my ears perfectly and are so comfortable that I forget they are even in my ears. The headphones are curved to fit inside the ear. I haven't had a pair of headphones that are curved for comfort and it does make a lot of difference in the feel of the buds in my ears. I like the buds that the headphones came with but there are 3 sets total of the silicone buds.

I like to watch videos on my Kindle since I can never find much interesting on TV. I like to watch old Twilight Zones and older shows quite bit and the audio sound with these headphones is perfect for me! I can hear everything and sometimes the audio for the older shows isn't that great but these headphones are wonderful for picking up all of the sounds. These headphones are emmersive and for me block out extraneous background sounds.

The Belkin PureAV headphones have a built in microphone on the cord for Skypers and recording. I am really happy with the quality of these headphones for use with my Kindle. These are my go to headphones for the Kindle for any type of video and they work great for gaming too.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The sound is pretty good on these headphones. They didn't blow me away, but they do provide a good range.

I've used this on cell phone calls, and, the microphone is, as usual, the weak link. People tell me it sounds tinny and goes in and out.

The most annoying thing is that the cord is a bit too short. I tried to use these on my PC with Rocksmith, and it is not ideal.

So, depending on what you're using these for, these might work out for you. They're not, however, my favorite headphones.

This is a great bag, It is just the right size and can hold a lot of weight without loosing it's shape or strength. I have this for my karaoke end of my dj service and have used it for a gig already.I am soooo glad I purchased it. I used a large Gig Skinz bag for the last 6 years and it was falling appart, I used it at least 2 to 3 times a week for the past 6 years so it was used very hard, I had a hard time finding a bag that was large enough and strong enough to hold everything I needed. This bag fis the bill. I placed a video review so I can show the bag and the pockets. It is well worth the money, if you are as concerned with protecting your gear, minimal set up time and heavy use like I am.

Want Magma Multi-Purpose Studio/Gig Bag 25 DJ Backpack Discount?

This bag is no joke. It does everything I want it to and more. While it is a little on the pricey side for a backpack, I'd say it's worth it due to it's enormous amount of storage and great, solid feel on my back. If you like the style of the bag, without a doubt this is probably the best one I've ever had.

In the first and most important part for me, space, this bag excels. I can put my large G73 laptop (17", but with a relatively large form-factor for 17" laptops) along with my Traktor S4, a few smaller controllers, a Komplete Audio 6, my Crane laptop stand, and my headphones in the main pocket alone, which uses foamy dividers to ensure nothing has a chance of getting even scratched and also allowing you to make custom compartments for your stuff. Specifically, a Traktor S4 fits pretty much perfectly in the main compartment, so think of the compartment as being 3-3.5 times as thick as an S4, and slightly wider and longer than one. The outer pockets are also huge, capable of fitting a huge amount of things, from cables to more controllers and headphones or whatever you'd like. Because it's so large, you pretty much can put anything you want so long as it is smaller in length and width than the already large S4.

The construction of the backpack is really good. The buckles, handle, and loose things like the shoulder strap are held together by solid feeling metal. The zippers feel very solid, the straps are attached firmly and I have no qualms that it will ever break like other, cheaper backpacks. I've been using it fairly roughly and there's no sign of damage at all.

Finally, it feels great to wear. Even with a lot of weight on your back it hugs you securely and doesn't feel painful at all. The shoulder straps when using it as a backpack are very well padded and distribute weight evenly throughout your body, making it a pleasurable experience. I haven't used the shoulder strap much though since it is very large and that may feel awkward, but it's nice to have if you're just moving the backpack a short distance or not carrying it totally full. The handle is also decent--it doesn't hurt your hand at all.

Overall I'd say this is probably the best backpack I've ever used. It is very large, though, so I only use it when going to DJ gigs. That being said, it's totally worth it and I feel safe that I can protect all my gear and always have everything I could possibly need with me. Great job, Magma!

Let me start by saying that this bag works great.... everything fits fine. I have an MPK25, a MOTU Traveler, 17in MacBook Pro, a MyBook external hard drive, Sennheiser DT770s, wireless mouse, iPod and all the cables and power supplies I need to hook everything up. I still have room for some mics and a few other small items as well.

Now the bad thing about the bag is the manufacturing consistency... I actually have two of these bags and they were not built the same, however, they do SMELL the same. I don't know if its the glue/adhesive they use during manufacturing or the people assembling the bags by hand in a 110 degree warehouse with buckets of sweat dripping all over the fabric used. Really, its that bad. It was so bad I thought that someone had used the bag for months before me, trekking through the subways of NYC, leaving his or her B.O. on it before returning it to the store. Perhaps it got wet during transport and dried in the warm dark shipping container... Who knows where the odor came from. Febreze did not work. Thats the reason I have 2 bags. I thought the first bag I bought from an amazon retailer was just stinky because the store or warehouse it came from smelled bad, so I ordered another one from Amazon so I could return the first one. Well when the bag arrived I opened up the box and there was that smell again...

If it were not for the smell this bag is perfect!

I wonder if the other buyers had an odor that came with their bags....

I got mine at Costco for $59. The sound is affected by placement. If you place it in a corner, you'll load the bass more. If the speaker are at ear level, they sound best. Bottom line is accurate reproduction of sound and this speaker stands out in that regard.

Got mine at Costco. Have had it for a month maybe. Sound quality is amazing. Bass is loud and clean, treble is sharp and clear. Mids are good. Can be played loud without distortion. Remote controls Ipod as well as the boom box. I hate to say it bit it definitely beats my $279 Bose Sounddock!

Just received my new Junior Behringer today, for under $100 including delivery and state sales taxes from the big box retailer I'm a member of (Costco). It's replacing a Logitech S715i and the difference in the sound is beyond comprehension. The German made Behringer has much bigger speakers inside the unit along with both bass and treble controls both on the included remote and the top of the main unit to go along with the volume controls. Since it also weighs more than double that of the Logitech it's understandable that the sound reproduction is more realistic and full. I also own an ikicker and would have to rate the Behringer slightly ahead in sound qualty as well although it's not quite as portable, not having a convenient grip. The only negatives are that it's quite difficult to install the lithium battery for the remote control. Also the instruction manual could be improved with more attention to detail as it doesn't even mention use of the remote's battery and how long it should last.

I'm using the Behringer exclusively for music and my Apple IPOD's ITUNES library and couldn't be happier!

I got mine from Costco for $79 + tax + shipping. Anyhow, it has decent bass, but other than that it's annoying to listen to. There are few songs when played on this speaker, it's unbearable to listen to. I tried control bass and treble, but doesn't help. My cheaper Logitech USB hub speakers sounds much better.
