The Nexus 7 has it's power port out the bottom causing straight wires to eventually break from the bend at the bottom. This was very unhandy when I was using the Nexus with the charger plugged in. This adapter works great, it snaps into place solidly, has a very flexible 6 foot wire.

I bought this to replace the cord that comes with the BOSE on ear headphones. It seems like it is pretty durable. I connect it to my iPod and its 3 ft length is just right for me as I am pretty short (Im 5'7"). So depending on what you need it for, it might be a better idea to get a longer one for taller people. Overall, it does what its supposed to do and I'm happy with it.gets the job done, fast shipping & cheap! Can't ask for more :)I would order again if I need another one.
