In comparison of B&O A8 earphone I owned in the past, this H3 is far more better performance. Sound is very transparent with deeper bass. The ear pad is soft and comfortable, it fits in your ear nicely. I purchase H3 to replace Apple generic earphone for my iPhone since my A8 broke one week ago. In this past week, I was very patient with Apple earphone's performance since I have been used A8 for 4 years, of course, there is no comparison of Apple vs. B&O. Thanks god, I finally got H3 arrive today, now I can go back to my enjoyment of music from my Iphone. The only speculation of this H3 has very thin cable that may not be last. Over all, B&O product quality is always superb and costly, but you pay what you get.

I have to admit I had my doubts since I owned a pair of B&W C5 and LOVED them. I never found something of near or equal quality but those definitely are. The sound quality is really good and I think it is handling the bass pretty well (my EQ is set on loudness on my iPhone)First of all the built quality is excellent, my only concern so far and we will see over time is the thickness of the cord, I hope it is resistant enough.
The remote control is great, in fact, much better than B&W. The carrying case that comes with the pair is beautiful and well built with cord management and separate holders for the earphones.
I purchased the silver version at an Apple store in New York.

Well as much as they are great I decided to return them. The one issue I have with them is that you hear too much ambient noise and I feel that I have to crank up the sound level. So back to my C5 which for now are the best headphones I can think for below $200nice fit and good noise canceling but it does not offer the typical crisp b&o sound; i'm a huge fan of b&o and own several headsets and products, but i feel a little disappointed by the sound; overall very comfortable; i've kept them for comfort, noise canceling and out of "loyalty" :)
