To begin with, Let's just say that you won't ever regret getting yourself one of these bad boys, they are simply outstanding, from the incredible comfort level to the impossibly amazing sound quality, I will cover the main features in this review:

Lets start with the packaging:

-Straightforward packaging.

-Includes a convenient carrying pouch made from a very high quality material (Soft and durable), and also comes with a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) stereo jack adapter pre-installed to the headphones, which you can unscrew to reveal the 3.5 mm headphone jack underneath.

The Actual Headphones:

1-Durability:

I have been using these headphones for over 2 months now, and I have to tell you that these things are solid, I dropped them several times and got away with it, they didn't break or anything. Very durable. And the White Color looks amazing on them, no stains so far. (See update)

2-Comfort:

The cups are made from a very soft material that covers your whole ear, very comfortable to the ear, even after long periods, though you might have sweaty ears after extremely long sessions (6 hours or more). I also want to mention that you may feel discomforted by the headphones the first time you use them (Which happened to me), and I think it happened because they were still fresh and they didn't soften up yet, but after you use them several times, your head will adjust to them and they will no longer hurt. Also, they are very adjustable; the swiveling cup makes it very easy for any kind of head to fit these headphones. Overall, they provide nice fit to everyone.

3-Sound quality:

I can't give these headphones enough justice just by a literal review; you have to hear them to understand how amazing they are. I'm no expert in sound ranges (Highs, Lows, Etc.), but I can say that the bass on these is very, very deep; every note is separate from the other providing unbelievable sound. And they are actually closed-back headphones, meaning that they will block some of the outside noise and provide sealed and polished sound (I would say that they block about 9% of the outside noise), and probably the best thing about these headphones is that the leak no sound at all, I do adjust the volume such that it's mostly on the 80% mark and there is no sound leakage whatsoever, even if I crank up the volume to 100%, the sound leakage is nearly nothing and is very minimal (One of the benefits of the closed-back structure). I primarily use these for Music, and they sound fabulous on any genre, vocals are clear, the beats pop out, and everything is very well balanced.

Still looking for amazing headphones? Well, You should probably stop.

UPDATE (After 6 Months of Usage):

I started noticing a gradual increase in sound leakage after continuous use. I really don't know what caused this but, as long as you don't go too far on the volume. You should be ok. And as a matter of fact, Apple's own bundled EarPods still leak much more sound than these.

Also, stains should form sooner or later on anything white. And it's fairly easy to clean them, as long as you don't let the dirt accumulate on the headphones.

Everything else is still perfect. Sound reproduction has never been better actually. It's almost as if it got better! I don't know if it's actually real or it's just a placebo effect. Nevertheless. This review will still be a perfect five in my opinion.

I've wanted these headphones for quite some time now, and back in January, I learned the white version would be released some time in March. It was definitely worth the wait, in my opinion. These are my first pair of studio headphones, but I can tell why they are some of the most popular and most frequently recommended headphones out there. It took about 30 hours of burn-in, but I can finally give a final review.

Lows: the lows are punchy, and these are perfect for people looking for some true bass. These headphones will rattle your head when needed, but they also hold back where bass isn't the main part of the music.

Mids: the mids are somewhat recessed due to the heaviness of the lows, but they are still some of the best in headphones in this price range. The only headphone that is truly better here is the Shure SRH-840.

Highs: Very crisp and clear. They aren't extremely bright like the 840s, but that's actually what I love about these cans. I'm not crazy about having piercing highs. These offer the perfect amount, especially for vocals and rock music.

Overall, the M50s are a great bargain, especially at this price point. They offer a warm sound for bass lovers, but still have some of the best mids and highs out there. Any type of genre sounds great: Hip/Hop, rap, rock, classical, pop, or country. For anyone who wants to get the most out of their music, or if you want to get started in the audiofile community, these are perfect. Plus, they look and SOUND 10x better than any pair of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

I had ordered these for a friend a while back, but never had the opportunity to actually use them. I've been through the whole range of Beats, selling and buying them (including the 'limited edition' Detox) and i wasn't happy with any of them.

I did purchase the Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones before last summer to use on the plane and i was really impressed with noise canceling that they provided. However, in terms of sound quality, they weren't the best you can get out there for the price, but it doesn't stop me from using them from time to time. I recently built a home studio and looked at many monitoring headphones and the Audio Technica's appealed to me the most. I decided to wait until the white version came out as since the release of the white iPad 2, I've just loved white gadgets! These are the best headphones in terms of sound clarity. When listening to Hip-Hop or Rap, i can get a true bass sound and when listening to Classical Music, I can hear even the small instruments that are used. Definitely has a great frequency range and would recommend it to anyone. I did feel that they are a bit tight when put on my head as they pushed my cheeks a bit, but that didn't let me down and still enjoy using them. Only downside compared to the Bose or Beats is that the audio cable is not detachable which means if the cables cut, it is practically useless. Build quality was great and overall enjoying it.

I got these about a week ago and so far I've had 3 people at my university ask me how I like my Beats...I hate people sometimes. No, these are infinitely better than the Beats and they are half the price. Besides the obvious sound difference which you can read about in every other review, these are just a solid build. They are are durable, have swivel functionality for storage and comfort, have full ear coverage for noise isolation and comfort, have a coiled cable, look amazing in white, and again every inch shows a quality and durability. There is nothing to criticize with these headphones. They are in every sense perfect.

PSMy cousin owns the black pair which he bought around a year ago and it seems they have upgraded the leathery spongy material that seals around your ears. I'm not sure if it's just the newer white pairs or all recently made pairs, but we both agreed there is slightly more cushion and the upgraded material is slightly more plush in my white pair.

I got these finally because they were in white (so sick of black electronics)...and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. I haven't used these on anything other than my ipod touch, but they sound AMAZING after a bit of burn-in (It doesn't sound horrible when you first start them out but they definitely have a warmer feeling after about 15 hours or so). They are very durable, and allow for very big domes or oddshaped domes (I wear a 7 3/4" hat and it could go much much larger without any problem. The white is sweet, I'm a bit worried that the white may show dirt more..but whatever, thats what you get when you buy something super stylish. The EQ is very flat on these, so it works for ALL types of music...if you want to mimic something like beats audio, do it with a Fiio E6 amp (any product line by Fiio will work) and you can choose the high bass setting. With an amp, these have so much bass, hat they actually rattle some, which is just CRAZY loud...it can actually cause a bit of headshaking, seriously (lol). The coiled cord is super long (almost too long, but I can't hold that against them)..and the cable is super high quality...I doubt you could ever break it. The only thing i wish was different was that the cable could be unplugged at the headphones themselves, and it had an audio port on left and right ear cups (like the Beats).. but this way is probably more durable anyways.

You want to buy these headphones if:

1) Your budget is less than $300

2) You want something that looks good, and are sick of boring black headphones (and were considering Beats based on looks).

3) Want something with a flatter EQ that sounds good for all types of music, and doesn't manufacture bass when it isn't present in the track itself.

4) Will buy a small Fiio Amp with these to drive them (you really need an amp to get the full effect out of these, or any mid to high range headphones).

Please don't even consider buying Beats by Dre or the Souls or the Fifty's WITHOUT checking these out first....I'm telling you, they sound better (I mean way better), look almost as good, and are more durable with more range for bigger/weird shaped heads!
