I use this in conjunction with the Audio Tools iOS app for live sound RTA function. Downloaded the calibration file from Dayton Audio and mic works well. More accurate than the built in mic and cheaper than all the alternatives. Sure it's not a $1000 measurement mic, but it's more than usable and extremely portable. A good alternative to the MicW.

Not crazy about the plastic housing and have no need for the extra input, but it's a minor issue.

Great product, I was able to fine tune my system prior to my last competition. I had the hoghest RTA score of the day! It works well enough to get you by if you dont have access to a real spectrum analyzer

Excellent mic, use it every day, with easy to follow instructions to calibrate with my iPad, exactly what I needed. And recommended to every pro audio guy.

This is a fantastic little microphone. I used it to record some Nat-Sounds and voice for a couple of projects rather than using it as a measurement mic because it was the perfect size for my phone.

People who have not used condensers should be aware of the difference between them and dynamic mics. It will pick up everything from wind to people rustling papers ten feet away. However, in a recording studio or quiet space the quality is amazing.

When using it on my S3, I ended up having to play with setting to have it output into larger audio files since it was picking up so much.

I've recommended this to student journalists and podcasters who have found it to be suitable for their needs.

Mic came with tin case with instructions. Went on Dayton's site and downloaded the calibration file based on the serial number. Using mic with audio tools for car audio RTA. Working good.
