When it first arrived it was so big I had to take it out of the box to transport it to my son's apt. Once there we discovered that they had sent a wrong part. Customer Service at Musician's friend was very sympathetic and helpful, but the bottom line was we had to sent it back to them. At their cost of course, but I still had to load and repackage it. The replacement arrived broken! This item ships in one box and weights 129 pounds! It's 100 percent engineered wood and NOT a good buy. I haven't had my account credited for the 2nd return at this point. BUT, I am sure I will. Musician's Friend, which is the vendor was great. BUT, the product is not worth the 367.00 I paid for it. Our box weighed nearly 170 lbs but rather than trying to lug it up a flight of stairs, we opted to open the box downstairs in the hallway and bring it up bit by bit. The product itself in theory is TERRIFIC however the directions were barely instructional and the metal bars weren't shaped properly so they didn't fit into their holes. It was as if the metal was poured poorly when they were made so there was a sloppy extra bit at the ends which made it impossible to slide them into place. So....we had to sand them down by hand and while yes, they eventually fit, my boyfriend's hands were bloodied in the process! The final product is very sturdy, functional, and good looking but since this was a birthday gift, I was bummed that he had to struggle so much to get the thing set up properly. Other thing I would like to mention is that I am 5 ft 3 and also a DJ. Being on the short side, I found this table to be a little too tall for me however I don't suspect for most average height people or tall, for this to be an issue at all.

The box was a little damaged when we received this, but that is to be expected sometimes with shipments this heavy. Overall, we are very pleased with the product. It is a very sturdy table for DJs. We would recommend it to any of our friends. My husband is also an artist, so this design also complements our home.
