Great Keyboard for my daughter to start piano on. She loves it!!! Would definitely recommend for starters or novice players. Our 8 year old daughter wanted to take piano lessons. We really didn't want to go out and buy a piano until we knew if she would stick with it. This product meets our needs and is very good.my wife wanted something to learn/get better at piano with. She doesn't use it very much but it seems to be a good product for her.there are lots of features i don't even understand. I bought this to let my kids learn how to play piano a little, read notes and understand the relationship of the keys and sounds associated with them. I also have been playing some and enjoy it. Everyone is happy with the performance so far. I understand there are other models with weighted keys to make the feel of the keyboard more like an actual piano. I would like to try that out to see the difference, but as this is, I think it's fine.I've been playing Casio keyboards for years, and this is the first one that has disappointed me. The piano sounds ok to me through the headphones, but without them the tone sounds muffled, as if surrounded by cotton -i.e., none of the "brightness" of a piano. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this. I'd like to find a Casio keyboard with a better sound, the kind I'm used to.Also, as others have noted, the touch of the keys is (to me) too "liquid"; I find it hard to attack notes properly in piano or organ mode especially. Just sayin'.
