Lost the short cable for the canon Video cam, couldn't find it as a replacement. Ordered this cable tested it out worked fine. Liked the additional length so I could manage the cables on my tripod.I bought this to replace a proprietary cable for guitar effects pedals. It was less than half the price. I would reccomend to anyone that needs this type of cable.
