It's a basic connector it works, what's not to like?

This connector is exceptionally well made, if a bit on the large side (it may not fit some gear if the female connectors are close together; be aware).

This is a nice little adapter. It plugs in and receives the 1/8" jack smoothly but firmly, I haven't noticed any sound quality issues, and it is a good-looking piece.

I use this for headphones as well as plugging mp3 player into an electric guitar amp. it works without any issues. it was a kind of a tight fit at first though. actually so tight that I thought it was not going to fit at all, but after very firm pressure a couple of times it works fine.
