This wireless system is a really good middle of the road system. It isn't a cheap wanna-be toy, and it isn't an over priced waste of money either. It is a solid pro-quality kit that does it's job really well. The price makes it a no-brainer. Sure, there are systems with better sound, longer range, and smaller headpieces. You will pay big bucks for those upgrades. Line of sight, the distance of this system is very good. The sound is more than adequate for live shows (as it is designed for), and with the foam wind blocker off, the headpiece is not distracting.If you're looking for wireless for DJ, workout, or worship use, this is your answer. I'm sure you'll be as happy with it as I am.

I purchased this mic for my church and we have been using it for almost a year now. Connecting it up and getting it working was a breeze and required only minimal knowledge of audio equipment. I use rechargeable batters for this and they have worked well. I have had a couple instances where the mic would die, but I believe this is due to the batteries not having been properly charged more then the mic draining them too fast.The mic can be made to fit on the left or right ear and has very good pickup. I have never gotten any of the scratchy or vibration sounds you can get from other mics. I've never had a problem with reception either. The audio booth is at least 60ft from the front and it works perfectly. I record directly onto a computer and this has worked great for us!.
Overall a good quality mic, simple, but gets the job done well.

Still using the system weekly with no issues. I have received a few complaints about the mic fitting them well, but that is hard to account for since each person is different. Overall very pleased with the system and works very well for our needs. I might look at getting a new mic to be able to fit more people better, but otherwise no issues with this system!I bought the Samson Concert 77 UHF TD for a small church. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and this looked like a good buy for what we needed. This system has great sound and works very well. I am pleasantly surprised for the quality of sound for the price. I have used other brands and this one sounds just as good as the more expensive brands. I highly recommend this product, it was an easy set-up and comfortable to wear. Our main speaker had never worn a mic like this and he got use to the ear piece quickly and it didn't bother him. I am impressed!I have been using this wireless headset mic in a church environment and have found it works really well. Whereas our omini lapel mic gets all kinds of feedback problems none come from the headset. So big ticks there! The quality of sound is also excellent compared with other mics. We hve several other radio mics amd there is no interference with any of them from the Samson. One very important note is that the SE10 Headset fits very comfortably over the ear. I've used other brand headsets and found them to be uncomfortable, moving from position and often needing tape to hold them not so with the Samson.
Overall, I can honestly say it's an excellent mic and good value for money too!
The sound is very clear out of this mic. It takes a little bit of playing around with the arm, as it's very rigid even though it's meant to be bent, but once you get it in position it's fine.
There are 2 things I don't really like about this mic, one minor annoyance and one that almost caused me to send it back.
First is the beltpack. There are actually 2 switches on it. The power switch is inside the battery door, and then the transmit switch is on the top of the beltpack. The first half-dozen times I used it, I forgot to turn off the power inside the door when I was done. I went through a lot of batteries those first 3 weeks or so. I wish they'd integrated it into one 3-position switch on the top of the unit the way many other manufacturers do. I have a concern that the tabs on the battery door will eventually break having to open and close it so often.
The second thing is the biggie, and almost caused me to send it back. This mic was getting interference from somewhere...I have no idea where...even when there were no other wireless mics on. If the beltpack was on but not transmitting, and the receiver was also on, you'd get very, very loud static through the speakers. I'm using this for large public speaking engagements, so the PA volume is generally pretty high. The only way to mitigate this is to turn the squelch ALL THE WAY up. There's a little knob inside the transmitter, and one on the head unit. After that, it performed pretty much flawlessly.
The problem with this isn't so much that you have to adjust it (though you'd think they'd pre-adjust it out of the factory) the problem is that nowhere in the instructions or on their website is there information on about what to do if you get interference. They mention the squelch knobs in the book, but only in passing. Had I not been experienced with audio gear, and had a sound guy I could count on to help me adjust it, I doubt I'd figure it out.
In summary, the sound quality is quite good for a mic in this price range, but the setup leaves a little to be desired if you start getting interference. I've seen a couple of reviews mentioning this problem, so if you're going to order this mic please keep in mind that you're probably going to have to adjust the squelch on it.
