A lot closer to real drums than I'd expected. The mesh drum heads feel like real drum heads and play much better than rubber pads. the sounds are very good, but may need some tweaking. It would be nice to be able to download user-created sets, but I haven't seen anything online to do that. One odd change is simply that electronic drums are smaller than acoustic ones, so my sloppy style will have to improve -no playing like Keith Moon here!I got this item for my 6 year old ...he just loves this...For hours he is on this drumset..I recommend this product and the seller...
