Deceiving. First I would like to say I have always thought of Peavey as a benchmark product. I have owned so many Peavey products over the years that I thought shoot this would have to be a great amp. Yes, it sounds OK. But, here is the real problem: Peavey states this is a 400 watt amp. It's not though, in fact when Peavey tells you it is 400 watts they are talking about the POWER CONSUMPTION of the amp, if you look on the back of the amp just to the bottom left of the external speaker jack it tells you the true power output which is "200 watts @4 ohms" I find this extremely deceiving. So, you might say impossible! Well lets do the math, if the internal speaker is rated @8 ohms (which it is) and per the back of the amp and the instuction manual, which calls for an 8 ohm extension cabinet, that cuts the impedance in 1/2 further confirming "200 watts @4 ohms". Basically, as this amp sets it truly is only a 150 watt amp. The instruction manual that came with my amp did not have the TKO specs, but did have the TOUR TNT 115 specs which is advertised as a 600 watt amp! However, I believe even with the extension cab plugged up per the instruction manual specs, the supposed TNT 600 only truly gives 450 watts @4ohms to the speakers! To confirm further the POWER CONSUMPTION of the TNT 115 is 600 watts. Peavey should be ashamed, I would also like to tell you the amp is made in China. I bought this product based on Peavey's reputation and in thinking I was getting a 400 watt amp I could expand on in the future. Not true. If you dont believe me do the research for yourself. Check the forums. Find one at your local music store and look at the fine print on the back of the amp at the extension speaker jack. In closing one last dab of proof: You will not find a singal piece or spec anywhere that states the Peavey Tour TKO 115 gives 400 watts @4ohms. Buyer beware. And, to you Peavey I'm sending your amp back, you have lost my business forever.

All I can say is wow! This thing is powerful. I play with a really loud drummer and guitar player and this amp really shines. All I know is that it is loud and powerful! Thanks Peavey!

As an avid worship team player, it's important to me that my amp projects properly so I can hear it but that the soundman can still have control over front of house. With it's kickback design, the TKO does this perfectly. The cabinet is big so the sound is a nice proper Peavey bass tone, nice and round. Yes, the cabinet is bigger than some other bass amps, but with a 15" speaker it needs to be for the tone to be right. Plenty of power on tap for my gig, great tone and didn't break the bank. Great job Peavey!
