The other reviews do a good job covering the size, sound, and features... so I'm skipping those. The overall package is reasonable for the price. The only draw back to this little keyboard is the missing power adapter. It wouldn't be so bad if the description or technical specs provided clear documentation to assist in locating an adapter that would work. Since this information is lacking, I've taken the liberty to do a little research and provide some direction. The hard part identifying a suitable adapter is decoding the adapter specs. While the voltage and amperage are usually easy to decipher, the jack size is almost always a convoluted mess to discern. Companies may or may not employ standard jacks based on voltage. In this case everyone is fortunate Casio employs a standard "L" receiver jack. For more info on jack sizes use RadioShack's Adaptaplug conversion matrix: .
Knowing the voltage and jack type makes finding a suitable power adapter easy. The Casio AD-A95100L adapter works perfectly with this keyboard. You can buy one here: . If you're a fact finder and want to understand the specs a bit better, just break down the adapter's name like so: AD = Adapter; A = America (the electrical wall socket type); 95 = 9.5V (direct current output voltage); 100 = 100V (alternating current input voltage); L = standard "L" jack size (outside diameter: 5.0mm; inside diameter: 2.5mm). The electrical specs are plainly printed on the adapter: Input: AC 100V 50/60Hz 280mA; Output: DC 9.5V 0.9A. So, you can see how the name and the specs align. Nevermind it being designed for a label printer, it will work with this keyboard. :-)

This keyboard fits into my slightly larger backpack. Its portability allows me to carry it around and work out melodic and harmonic ideas for the songs I write when I'm away from home. The eight-note polyphony is really helpful for chording.A problematic issue exists with the Casio SA-75 power adaptor that is advertised as an optional accessory on the Amazon page that features the keyboard. The adaptor isn't compatible because the jack-end doesn't fit into the 9.5 volt terminal on the back of the keyboard. The manual claims the six batteries required to operate the keyboard will last for about six hours, though.
I contacted the seller of the SA-75 adaptor and they told me that the correct adaptor for the SA-76 keyboard won't be available until December 2010.
The tones are clear and reasonably distinctive, perhaps slightly less so in the brass. The rhythm patterns cover all the basics, and there's more than enough volume control to play with. All in all, after two weeks of using it, I would say that this is a cool little keyboard!

This little keyboard is great, it's compact so I can take it anywhere I want. The sound (to me anyway) is good, very responsive when each key is press. Their are many features as well such as 10 Song Bank,50 Patterns,100 tones, tempo, and great volume control. It even has a small LCD so you can see the notes your hitting. The keyboard does not come with batteries or a AC Adapter,(I brought this in my JR Music store in NY and they told me next month or maybe in the distant future you will be able to purchase one for it. It takes 6 batteries I don't care for an adapter because I use rechargeable batteries and don't want to be stuck in one place when playing. I'm new to pianos and this will be a very good beginner one for me or even kids might love it as well, but an adult can use it if they don't want to carry a big heavy one with them everywhere they go, The back of the keyboard is orange and the front is black so I really like the colors on it and the design. If your new to pianos (like myself) this is a great purchase for you or a child, its been three days and already I'm playing some of my favorite songs,so get it and play away.Want Casio SA-76 44 Key Mini Keyboard, Orange Discount?
Great keyboard super portable and awesome for a student. If you want to see more check out my youtube channel BRKHD1Got this keyboard for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is thrilled with it but the power adapter that Amazon sells does NOT fit this keyboard. The one Amazon recommends is AD5MR but the adapter that should be for this keyboard is AD-E95100L. As another reviewer wrote, the only place I can find this adapter is in a set with other accessories with a price tag of $89!! Not cool! This is the reason for the 3 stars.
