I've owned a Shure psm 400 system. There isn't much of a comparison, however, I am pleasantly surprised. The Bodypack is sturdy enough. The transmitter is a bit cheap looking, (but cmon.... this is a cheap system.) I wasn't expecting much. I purchased 2 systems for our church because I wanted to see if the frequencies interfered with each other, but they didn't so, I'll buy probably 2 more. It did take me 5 minutes to tweak the frequency to get it where i wanted it. Would not recommend for road/stadium gigging, but for small setting and a small budget, it will do fine.Buy Koolertron(TM) In Ear Stage Wireless Monitor System Only Receiver Now
Overall a decent in ear for the price. I was actually surprised about the sound quality. For being a budget unit, it has good sound. As far as durrability, I haven't had it that long, so only time will tell. As was stated before, keep your input signal low. They will overload and distort easily. We do get some cutting out when 3 of the packs are connected. I suspect that it may be from too hot of an input signal or batteries getting low. I will have to do more research. Bottom line, for the price, they do pretty well for small gigs.Read Best Reviews of Koolertron(TM) In Ear Stage Wireless Monitor System Only Receiver Here

Some reviewers are really giving this item a negative review. While i see their point i don't think the these thoughts should be applied to every case and usage.Does it work? YES.
Does it work well? That depends on what & HOW you are using the product. It works well when the volume going in to the transmitter is not too high -use the gain on the receiver to bring the volume up. Also, don't put thru a lot of bass it will distort. This is my experience from using it in a live performance. Once you have adjusted these above items, it does work well for click track and general monitoring.
Does it work as well as a $500 IEM system: NO come on, really?
Does it have interference? YES and NO depends if you have the transmitter beside an appliance or amp that gives off interference!
The bottom line: You get what you pay for...in this instance, you get a little more than what you paid for..but my advice would be to keep your expectations in check..it DOES work but it's not perfect. It is great for watching movies when the kids are asleep as well :)Monitors distort badly, will try new and better headgear with system. Unfortunately I don't have full live PA set up at all times to try and test different components. But, I'm thinking this is a very poor quality product and you only get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
