I wanted to listen to music from my Kindle in my car and needed to have a cable to do that. This worked perfectly. I can listen to my IPOD and my Kindle in my car now. I am happy with this purchase.Your average audio cable probably doesn't need any sort of review, but folks who still have original iPhones (iPhone 1, if you will) might like to know that this cable works fine in the headphone jack of my iPhone. I haven't tried other belkin 3.5 inch-connector cables (I think this one is the first I've bought of theirs), but all the other 3.5 inch-connector cables I've tried (probably mainly Radio Shack) have not worked in the original iPhone jack because they tried to be clever and made their jack just a little different. Maybe all the Belkin 3.5s are like this; I don't know. I bought this cable with the intention of connecting it between my iPhone base and my car stereo, and then connecting my iPhone to its base in order to listen to my music through the stereo. For the heck of it, I tried it in the headphone jack and it worked. That was a pleasant surprise. Now I don't need to mess with the phone base (to which the phone connects fairly loosely) in my car, nor do I have to keep removing my phone from its protective case!I use this everyday on my long car trip home from work to listen to my Kindle 2 books read to me by the computer voice. I don't have much time to read otherwise. This has worked very well in providing the audio on through my car radio.It only works part of time and cuts in & out. I've pulled it in and out of the plug on my phone and dash.
