This microphone stand is an amazingly affordable, definitely durable stand. I've had it set up on our stage for two years now and it has been dropped, beaten, thrown, used as a weapon (desperate times, my friend), and just about anything you can imagine a mic being used for (get your mind out of the gutter). It's done so well, and has proven to be a great asset.The only reason there's not 5 stars is I have had better microphones for transporting, and the awkward shaped base does make it rather annoying for moving around (whether rolling it somewhere or storing it in a trunk).
In closing, BUY THIS ONE, it's great!
