This controller is excellent and fun to use while live mixing and recording. If you are new to the world of mixing or moving away from turntables and looking at controllers I recommend this product.Reloop Digital Jockey 2 Interface Edition

This is a magnificent piece of hardware. It ships with Traktor LE which is good enough to get the job done, the feel is magnificent and hooking up was relatively hassle free. Jog wheels are touch sensitive and can control different things. It's designed for Traktor pro which means a few features (x-fade control, key adjust & more) don't work without the upgrade to pro.

Pros:

-Solid feel

-Song browsing encoder

-Integrated sound card

-0% pitch lights

-Big buttons for CUP, CUE & Play/Pause

-Powers through USB or external power supply

-EQ knobs has push to kill

-Integrated independent shift buttons

-Looks handsome and professional

-Integrated MIC & Headphone jack

-Basic Headphone EQ

-Really easy to update the firmware

Cons:

-One of the jog wheels isn't perfectly centered on mine making a very slight rubbing sound

-Really designed for Traktor Pro, so some features can't be used unless software is upgraded.

-Shift button is necessary to engage HI/LO filter, but jog wheels cannot be manipulated with shift button is held.

-Encoder resolution is too low to create super accurate scratches.

-LE doesn't support multiple CUE Points, controller remapping, so Controllerism is basic out of the box.

Overall I would highly recommend this controller over the Vestax Typhoon/spin, or the Hercules product lines. It is probably not in the same quality level (or price range) as the VCI-300 or NS-7, but it at least looks, feels and works in a professional manner so that you won't be clowned for turning up to a gig with a "DJ Hero" controller.
