We received these earbuds as a birthday gift for our daughter who just turned 6 years old. However, we were quickly disappointed upon allowing our daughter to try them on. After opening the package, we noticed that there were two different sets of rubber tips that could be used (2 large ones and 2 small ones). The buds already come with the larger tips on them. When we noticed that the regular set didn't fit our daughter's ears we tried the smaller tips instead. However, these didn't fit the external part of her ear canal either which surprised us. We consider our daughter's ears to be normal in size for her age so our reaction was that surely these were meant for young children based on their animated character design. Upon further investigation of the package, we were completely surprised when we couldn't find any indication of an age range recommendation. Based on the lack of information provided, our best guess is that these earbuds are intended for children age 8 and up.
At this point, my wife has decided to use these until our daughter's ears grow a bit more in the next couple of years. If you're looking for Lalaloopsy headphones for your young child (under 8), look for the regular headsets instead which are available with this character design.My girls love everything Lalaloopsy and these are no different. They are the cutest things ever and my girls love using them with their MP3 player.
