I was not sure about this headphone DAC as I was finding no reviews for it. But for the price it works well and sounds very good.
At first I was impressed with the sound but I wanted to do some more testing with a Leader LDM-171 distortion meter.
The noise plus distortion came in at 0.25% at 1khz.(at 500mv output) That seemed to be a reasonable figure for what it is. Should be below what
can be heard. A frequency sweep showed a very flat response down to the bottom octave. At 20hz it had drop of about 0.75 db.
A little weak in the lowest octave but hardly enough to notice. Overall good sound at a reasonable price and looks to be
well built. I am very happy with it and it sure beats the sound from my notebook headphone jack. It powers my Grado Labs
headphones with plenty of power. I had to give it 5 stars due to the sound, price and construction.
