In one year I have used two pairs of these earphones to listen to music while running. These earphones make the difference between an enjoyable run or a hassle-filled run. I would rather run without music than use a pair of earphones besides these. Unlike other earphones which keep falling out throughout a run, after I put these earphones in and wrap the wires around my ears, I can just forget about them... This seriously makes running with music enjoyable and hassle-free. :]

SOUND QUALITY: Wonderful excellent best score

I don't like using any earphones where I can't hear bass. For that reason I prefer these earphones over all my other earphones, sometimes even my huge Bose headphones. Yes the sound quality is excellent and crisp and clear.

it seems to be unfair to compare any ear plugs to my sennheiser HD650, but that's the baseline that i review every earphone with

no one would actually use a small ear plug for serious listening, but better sound quality is definitely desired when you are on the subway or in the gym running

this little earplugs are way beyond my expectation, especially for the price i paid. it's a keeper, probably for a very long time

first of all, the packaging, not too luxurious, but very good and solid. not too fancy but enough to be a present if you wrap it up and use some ribbons

sound quality:

mids and highs: so good after around 40 hours of burning in, clear and crisp, I listen to a wide range of music,classics for 50% of the time, then some blues, jazz and of course some pops, you can feel the violin the piano the trumpet at their designated position, the sound stage is very good. when i listen to vocals, i love how Diana Krall and Nora Jones sounds with this earpiece, bright and warm, you don't feel tired after 2-3 hours of listening.

lows: depending on how you love the bass, i'm quite a bass lover and I found it good enough, for some people, it might be a little too much. the bass quality is OK, i mean, better than probably most earplugs at this price range or even triple-the-price range, still it feels a little loose sometimes, I'm using my ipod classic to listen to all AAC files. I guess if you would use a mini amp like fiio or something, it will be improved. however, would anyone use an amp for a pair of earplug? i don't think so, i would only use amp for my bigger earphones like HD650, earplugs are just for carrying around. If you like hip-pop, rap, etc, you would like it very much 'cause it delivers enough punchy bass to rock your ear tubes :)

build quality: good and sturdy, like it. I owned bose ie2 and klipsch S4i before, all ripped apart when i used them in the gym. This pair seems to be more sturdy than the other two, let's just hope it will last longer than ie2 and S4i, however, i only paid 1/3 1/2 the price, i'm thinking of buying another pair just in case. A little heads-up: the twp earplugs are plugged into the wires, so be careful when you pull them out of your bag or pocket, don't yank

verdict: good sound quality, much friendlier price, looks cool, totally worth it. actually i think i'm willing to pay twice the price for the sound, but let's hope the seller keep the price as it is right now, cause there wouldn't be much competition for this price.

The plastic clamshell split open at the seam in package. looked good and the left sounded good. I was leaving the country and did not even try to return. They were packaged well and delivered quickly but it looked like manufacturers defect.
