I bought one of these stands from K&M and I must say it is a great product. It's sturdy, let me put the ipad in vertical and horizontal position without having to unscrew anything and the stand holds the device very well.

I have been using it for several months already together with a software called OnSong in order to keep my songs in one place to play at church services.

Very happy with the product. It just work with the Ipad 1. I'm hoping that K&M will release a similar product for the Ipad 2.

They made no mention in the product description that this item is not designed to hold an iPad2. I sent it back.

I searched and searched, and then decided on these. I own a live sound & recording production company and I have to always produce professional sound and LOOK professional as well. I made the best choice in iPad mounts. I have two of them from K&M, Back-to-Back, on a heavy based microphone stand. They are great looking, solid, tilt and swing to any position. I get remarks like, "Hey, those are so cool" all the time. Musicians love them for song lyrics when used with an iPad Ap that allows them to control their own sound monitor/wedge right from the stage to my digital mixer elsewhere, leaving me free to do other tasks as the engineer. I had heard of these and have been wanting them for some time now. I am thrilled with them. Wish I had purchased them long ago. I have also used them for Karaoke song selection. No physical books needed that are all warn out and difficult to read....and ALL because of the: K&M Stands iPad Holder for iPad 2nd, 3rd and 4th Generation 19722. They are just perfect for ANY application. I highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to hold an iPad in their hands or lap. You can also use them (for another example) as your Kindle reader holder (an Ap for iPad)...just set it on a mic stand (or other) and place it right next to your chair or bed. Trust me, you'll be thanking me....and K&M, too.

I'm using it w an iPad 3 and it works very well. Good grip on the device, and on the mic stand. Only minor drawback is that you have to check when clipping in the iPad 3 I imagine it's due to the fact that it holds the thicker iPad 2 as well, so there is a little play. But once it's clipped in, it grips the device well and there are no issues.

Well worth the money. A cheaper stand that drops your iPad is a lot more expensive in the end...

This product works extremely well. The clamp is large enough to attach to the bottom part to a mic stand as well as the top which is needed if you plan to use it while seated. Holds iPad very firmly and swivels with a solid locking mechanism. Very pleased with this product.
