Setup was automatic, easier than our previous Shure wireless headset, which required setting the channel. The sound quality is full and clear. We do have a problem with the windscreen coming off when packing and unpacking the microphone headset from our tight travel case. I have a 15 year old shure mic.. got another for back up alot more controls..no problems so far..there is a gain control in rec. box I think its greatThis is another excellent product by share. I was a little reluctant on wireless mics. Now this microphone exceeds my expectation. Sound quality is amazing and there is zero noise. I used mainly for singing. Great for guitar players!!
