The HA4700 High-Power 4-Channel Headphone Amplifier was my first purchase from Behringer and I'm glad that this device is just used for musicians to listen to playbacks for overdubbing in my home studio. My amp was noisy with some individual pots much noisier than others and a low background hiss throughout all outputs. I only use it when I need more headphone distribution, otherwise I'll grab the signal off the board and send it into the tracking room. Clearly this piece of equipment was designed and built for those who want something that looks pro, but costs less... so, quality control problems and cheap components are what you get. I won't purchase another item from this manufacturer, unless it comes highly recommended. At some point, I'll probably replace the HA4700 with an ART HeadAmp Pro 6 which I've been able to check out at a friends studio and which seems superior for the price. The PreSonus HP60 looks promising, too although it's considerably more expensive.

I like the Numark iDJ3. Its simpler and works great as a turntable and mixer replacement for weddings. Its really simple to use, but I wish the control pads were larger. Its hard to go back from a 12" surface to a 7"I picked up the IDJ3 a few months back to learn to DJ from a more traditional system. As a producer (Senator Jaiz) who sometimes performs I was using Ableton Live with my APC 20. After the Deadmau5 piece in Rolling Stone where he said we all just press buttons, I decided I needed to step into the true arena of DJ'ing and this seemed like a great budget option to do just that.

We are matching this AMP up with a 4X12 Bugera Cabinet. By using a "Y"-Cable to match the impedance of the cabinet, we are ensuring no "Impedance Mis-Match" condition which makes the AMP 100% efficient. It ROCKS!! These are the standard headphone in many European studios and broadcasters. The BBC uses little else. I've been using them personally for over 20 years. They sound pretty good for the money ($149 from J&R), although they are a working tool rather than high-end hi-fi. They are completely closed (to avoid mic feedback at high volume) and although quite heavey are very comfortable to wear for long periods.

Overall there are very nice headphones, but like other reviewers have said they can be tight. At first they are really tight but by leaving them stretched out on something like a computer case overnight they gradually loosen up. I have found that if you don't leave them stretched out every night they return their original position. Also after wearing them for 3-4 hours they can start to irritate your ears. I've owned several higher priced headphones than the Sennheiser HD 205-II Studio Grade DJ Headphones. But let me tell you, these sound right up there with the pricier sets. I originally bought the HD 205-II to use around town on the bus, walking, and at my favorite donut joint rather than using my pricier DJ phones for fear of me walking off without them or someone swiping them. I am now wondering, in terms of sound, what is the difference in my real DJ phones and the Sennhesier HD 205-II headphones. I'm sure there is a difference, but heck, I cannot tell the difference in sound. This set offers lots of thumping bass, wonderful mids, and silky highs. They are a little snug initially, but they loosen up after a few wears. The truth be told, the ONLY reason I'm not replacing my pricier gig Headphones, with the HD 205-II is because of the thin LONG cord of the Sennheiser. I'm afraid that the cord is too long and not sturdy enough to last during a rough DJ set. Please don't mistake that as a CON, it's just that I do a lot of moving around when I'm spinning. Bottom line, I am VERY HAPPY on my purchase of these headphones to use as an extra pair of headphones on my daily runs. If you are border line about getting these, don't be, YOU WILL HIGHLY ENJOY the look, sound, and quality of the Sennhesier HD 205-II Studio Grade DJ Headphones!!!!!

Like others, I'm using this as part of a small home recording setup. In my case, mics and sources connect to a Behringer UBB1002 mixer which feeds a Creative E-MU 0404 USB audio interface. The MON800 inputs are connected to both the mixer and the audio interface so that I can quickly switch from monitoring the live mix to monitoring playback from the audio interface. Outputs of the MON800 feed a couple of pairs of headphones and a pair of Behringer B2031A powered monitors.

I use this amp with my K&K equipped acoustic guitar. The four tone controls (bass, midrange, treble, and 'presence' upper treble) give tremendous control over the sound. I run my passive K&K pickups without a preamp, as the Ultrasound amp's input impedance is a good match for the pickups. The AG15 has a very clean and natural sound. I purchased mine from Woodwind and Brasswind. The unit that arrived is actually the updated AG15M, which features an XLR direct out, a line out, and a second channel XLR input for a mic. This was a pleasant surprise! I am able to connect directly to my church's mixer through the amp, and I had expected to need a DI box for this task.

I own several audio interfaces, and this is probably the best I've bought in this price range. The most useful (and hardly advertised) feature is that it can operate in standalone and class compliant (CC) mode. There is no need to connect it to a computer, and it works natively with a iPad. I can carry it and use it on stage for monitoring, and turn it into a portable recording studio with a iPad. As a beginner I was looking for a cheap, easy to use, good quality DJ controller. After doing some research and reading reviews decided to get the "DJ Tech i Mix Reload MKII." Returned it after 2 weeks of delivery. It was definitely not what I was expecting. Controller is made in China and is poor quality plastic. Controller is about the size of a 15-inch laptop, which is pretty small. Also the controller is supposed to work well with Traktor but some of the led buttons would not turn on, and jog wheels do not respond well. Overall, this controller should cost half the price. Definitely not for advanced or pro DJing. If you're looking for a cheap, good quality DJ Controller, don't get this controller.
