I am taking these back tomorrow. I bought them from best buy. I noticed they were very buzzy and not good for my project studio mixes.

The blue tooth is a cool feature. But doesn't help me since I dont want them just to blast music at a backyard bbq which is what they would be good for, not mixing. Disappointed.

This cable worked great. I've run a lot of cable during my life and have learned not to waste my arm and leg buying those expensive monster cables. Salesmen will try talking you into buying the more expensive and more so called shielded cables. That's a bunch of you know what, at least in my experience. I've never had any problems with the cheaper cables. I bought this cable to hook up my imac to my hdtv to watch tv off of. This cable provides the audio just fine. Though, at first I did have a low humming noise from the speakers, which turned out to be something called a "ground loop," which is another story you may google to learn more. I solved the ground loop problem by getting a "ground loop isolator," which took care of the problem. Also, I believe that there may be some signal loss because the cable is 50ft. long, but I just have to turn my receiver or amplifier up a little more than usual, which is fine. Hope this review helps somebody out there trying to do something similar. Good luck.

These work to get my computer hooked up to my sound system in the other room or my mp3's, iPad ect. They however pick up a local radio station and I was told I should have spent the extra money for shielded wires. These will work for now though and I am happy as they work as are advertised.

I was very pleased to find this product at a good price so that I could run it alongside my 50-foot s-video cable to connect my TV to my PC in different rooms and watch Netflix and other videos in my living room. I was NOT pleased to discover, upon running the cable, that it was only 40 feet long, not the 50 feet advertised. Since I needed a 48-foot cable, this was not satisfactory. If you need a 40-foot cable, it's great at the price, but if you need a 50-foot cable, look elsewhere.

This is an example of a product that is hard to find (50 feet), but on Amazon it is easy and the best price. And it works very well.

I purchased this cable for my classroom. My surround sound panel is in the back of my Music room, but everything I use to play music and show videos is in the front. School technicians said they wouldn't give me a cable or run wire to the front of the room, so this cable was the cheapest solution. I hear very minor RF interference (I have a wireless router in my classroom) when I am not playing music. When music is playing, however, everything is good. The sound quality is amazing with no distortion whatsoever. I'm glad I took a chance on this one despite some negative reviews.

Like most DJs I have been using the sc-8 wired version. Finally American DJ came out with a remote controlled wireless version! I love this unit. It saves me set up time because I don't have to run a 50' cable to my booth and place the switch panel there. Now I set up my stand and lights, plug them in and I'm done. The power pack feels solid. It's a little thicker than the wired version pack. It has eight electric plugs, one 1/4" UC3 jack to control 1 American DJ light (more if daisy chained), and a circuit breaker. You can plug in eight lights and turn them on and off with the remote. No flash button, just on and off. Also the UC3 control is great. I have two of the American DJ Mega Pixel LED lights so I plug in the UC3 control to the "Master" light and run a XLR cable to the second light to link them together. The remote also has the the three buttons to control any UC3 light, just like the wired UC3 remote except there is not a flashing light on the remote to show what mode you are in. It reacts fast and works through walls at a distance.I put a clamp on it to hold it to the light stand.

The remote is small and takes an 23A battery. Push the buttons firmly and it works every time.

It has an all on and all off button you hold for 5 seconds. This is 16 amps and will handle all your LED lights great. I love this and will never go back to a wired lighting controller. Good product!

After receiving the unit (which was very carefully packed), I attached the antennae and loaded the enclosed battery into the remote control.

I did a simple test with two light fixtures: ADJ H2O and the ADJ Megaflash. I simply plugged the H2O into socket 1 and the Megaflash into socket 2. I connected the power, flicked the power switch on.

The test was as follows: 1 on, then off. 2 on, then off. 1 and 2 on, then off. All on, then all off. The unit worked to perfection. I used the remote at close range, from ten to twenty feet. I then stepped into my bedroom (unit was in kitchen). After performing "the test", unit worked to perfection without a hitch or without any loss of response. I then stepped outside; same result. I walked across the street, same test, same result.

I cannot say enough about how outstanding the unit is. I am awaiting delivery of the UC3 Wireless unit for use with my DMX control lights. Will report results as well.

In the meantime, My highest recommendation goes out to ADJ. They have not only mastered LED light performance, but they have outdone themselves with a control unit that will maximize flexibility and performance. Buy with confidence...thanks ADJ. BTW, thanks Chuck Green for your Under the Hood series, it played a major role in my decision to purchase.

This light controller came in just in time. My other controller broke so the wireless controller showed up right when I had a DJ gig. I didnt have time to play with it so I just set it up and used it. It worked great! It was easy to use and setup. I would recommend it to other dj's or bands.

Want American Dj Wi Tech Wireless System Discount?

Had it a year and a half. It has quit twice, American DJ supposedly "fixed" it the first time under their one year warranty. Quit working again two or three gigs later. Luckily I had bought from Sweetwater.com who automatically adds a year to warranty of stuff they sell. They are fixing it now. But I am not at all happy, not at all rough with my gear and never plugged any light more than 90 watts in to it, so I don't feel I am to blame. Something came loose this second time according to tech people. I think these things are absolute crap. I also really don't like that you can't put a clamp on the ends. The only way you can mount this thing is very cumbersome except on a large truss, but it does not fit at all well on a light tree. When used on a t-bar it has to be mounted horizontal and it really gets in the way. Wireless control idea is great but the execution of this product design and durability are very poor.

I'm very satisfied with the headphones, it has an excellent build qualitiy and sound.

And the volume is higher than others that i own.

The protection in his 3.5mm connector is really a must have on any headphone, is a little heavyweight but it worth the price.

Really good sound, awesome when paired with a virtual surround sound card!

Sound is pretty leveled, not very bass heavy, light and airy mids/highs.

Sound cancellation on these would get a 38% out of 100%.

I am an amateur/hobbiest musician, sound engineer and producer, mostly working from my apartment. I have just bought these to replace my of Sennheiser HD 280 pro cans, they lasted me 4 years and served their time well. I needed something pretty quickly and got the Gemini as a gamble for the price. I stress I dont use these for general music listening, rather they are used as they are intended as a studio reference headset and my review is based on that use.

1. COMFORT

My biggest issue with the Sennheisers was that after an hour or so they really started to irritate my head and pinch my ears, especially when wearing my glasses. The Geminis are REALLY comfortable, I've been wearing them for almost 2 hours straight now with my glasses on and Im still relaxed, the padding is really nice and forms a soft cup around the ear thats not intrusive or pinching.

2. SOUND

I loved how "uncolored" the sound was through the Sennheiser. As an amateur at fisrt I found it a little harsh to record and work on my music with the unforgiving nature of the Sennheiser, i wanted everything to sound loud and bassy, but I quickly learned that hearing your recording uncolored allows you to really define the real sounds you want to make, which ultimately end up in a much greater balanced output when mixed and mastered. I'm slightly disappointed that the Gemini are a little bassy and the top end is not as crisp than Im used to, perhaps they are more intended for DJ use. But they are still pretty flat. This is why I dropped to 4 stars.

3. BUILD

The headset feels sturdy and well constructed, the lead is a coiled one (like the HD pro 280s) which I have no problem with and the jack is gold plated with a s screw on 1/4 inch. Feels like a good quality product. They come well presented, laying in a felt covered bed in the box.

Considering the headset is really comfortable and less harsh than the Sennheisers, Ill probably be temped to use these for general music listening in addition to the sound work Im doing. Im not sure how happy a true sound pro would be with them, but for me and my use Im delighted particularly because of the price.. Oh and the nice felt pouch they give you to store them in!

Want Gemini DJ HSR-1000 - Professional Monitoring Headphones Discount?

I'm no audiophile, but I really like these headphones. They sound great to my ear, are solidly built, and wear comfortably for long periods. I find the seal pretty tight around the ears, so they block out noise effectively indoors.

Keep in mind that the cord is coiled, so it has a bit of weight that bounces around while in motion if you've got it connected to a smaller device.

I have always connected my smart phone to my vehicles audio input jack for music and navigation. I've used several "headphone extensions", auxiliary cables, and brand name "audio cables"....they all turned out to be losers, regardless of price...

This cable works perfectly with it's right angled plugs. It's much harder to accidentally unplug the cable when it mounts more flushly. The audio quality its excellent! Much better than expected as the cable seemed to be thinner than previously purchased cables (which is generally a "trick of the trade"...add thicker insulation/shroud to give the appearance of a higher gauge/quality wire). I will also note that some 3.5mm "headphone" plugs themselves do not "lock" firmly when attached but these plugs seem to make FULL contact with the "female" plug and lock firmly in place for less accidental disconnects exposing the poor guy at Starbucks to your horrible Ipod mix of 80's workout jams :) I'd recommend these highly!

After 10 weeks of daily use in my Jeep, this cable now fails. I bought this cable in the 3 foot, double 90-degree tip configuration. I needed it to connect my iPhone to the aux input on my car radio. Initially, the cable worked without issue for 10 weeks. After plugging and uplugging the cable 150-200 times over that period, the connector I use on the iPhone side began popping and crackling when the cable moved. Today the cable distorted the music enough during my driving that I removed it.

I'm careful to always unplug the phone by pulling on the base of the plug. I ordered the 90-degree plugs to reduce the amount of stress on the cable and jacks, not wanting stress to prematurely short the connection. However, I expected more than 2 months of light use to wear this product out. I'm disappointed and hoping to forwarn anyone looking for a similar solution.

A search for SSD singlesided deafness and headphones turned up very few useful hits but I ordered these and am very pleased.

These headphones have absolutely terrific sound! The stereo channels are combined and the sound is very crisp with good bass and treble.

It feels like "accurate" sound.

The circumaural padded design is comfortable and also isolates my music from coworkers and enhances the bass.

I had previously used the Cochlear BAHA audio adapter, but can't find it now. As I have hearing in one ear I looked for another solution and found these far cheaper than the Cochlear adapter. And of course it sounds better.

Another affordable alternative is an in-the-air earbud: the ScanSound 1-Bud Pro.

It is great when you need something smaller but the Stanton Pro 300 with its much larger driver is much better sound.

For either SSD or other one-ear listening purposes these headphones are no compromise and deliver a terrific listening experience!

You can never hear your pitch correctly with double headphones. These headphones are perfect for recording solo instrumentalists, ensembles, solo vocalists, and backing vocal groups. There is simply too much temptation with dual headphones for the talent to slip the other ear on (listening with one ear is inherently annoying) BUT when you do that you cannot hear the right pitch you're creating. Just a fact of acoustics, you will be "headphone flat". Many vocalists in the 60's and 70's had this problem, you can hear them consistently being an eight tone flat by wearing double headphones.

It's annoying to listen with one ear off, but get used to it for anything remotely approaching perfect pitch.

Want Stanton DJpro300 Headphone Discount?

These headphones come with a 1/4 inch plug so you will need to buy an adapter to use with most devices, but the sound quality is good, they sound great. Also if you should be hearing challenged in one ear,(deaf), these are perfect for gaming or just listening to music. The quality of build could have been a little better, but for the price it is still a good buy. I would reccomend these to anyone. A good buy for the money.

I was wanting a case for my new Sennheiser HD-280 PRO Headphones, and that's what I got. More then enough room and nice quality to. I wanted to write this because I couldn't search down a case that people said they got for the Sennheiser I got so at least now some people can see it if they read this far into it.

Buy UDG U8200BL Creator Headphone Case - Large Now

I bought this case to protect my Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones. The headphones fit well because the ear pieces rotate to fold flat otherwise the height of the case might be an issue with larger headphones. The case is light yet stiff enough to protect the headphones from accidental damage and the carrying handle is convenient. The zipper is a high quality nylon and zips easily and securely. I'm pleased with these and would highly recommend them.

Make sure that the diameter of the ear pieces of your headphones will fit in the case which is only 3.5 inches deep when closed, not 4" as advertised. The other inner dimensions are 8" x 8.25", not anywhere near 9" x 11" as stated under "product details". I was very careful with my measurements and measured from the inside of the case except for height/depth where I placed a ruler across the top of the case and measured with a second ruler standing up on my desk to the bottom of the first ruler. As the case is somewhat flexible it will accommodate headphones of slightly different sizes but not by much. I hope this helped prospective buyers.

When I decided to pick up the UDG U8200 case for my Sennheiser Amperiors, I paid close attention to reviews by owners of the HD25-1 II, since the Amperior is merely a tweaked version. When I saw that three HD25 owners used this case without complaint, I ordered it immediately.

Five things to consider if you're thinking about buying the U8200 and own some version of the HD25:

1. Because it isn't specifically made for portable headphones, the U8200 takes up far more space than a more tailored case. This makes carrying your HD25s less practical in tight circumstances. Bags which fit my Amperiors comfortably now prove a tad too small.

2. The case is a bit roomy for the HD25-1/Amperior, which slides around. This means that any owner of reasonably compact headphones will have to pad the inside of the case.

3. The case does not come with cushioning, foam or even inserts. This is understandable, since it isn't tailor-made for any particular kind of headphones, but it means the user will is tasked with finding a solution.

4. The extra room isn't put to particularly good use. There are no pockets for cables or adapters on the inside or outside of the case. Perhaps the best solution would be to buy a small soft case for cables and then use it anchor the headphones, but -again -that solution requires the owner to spend more time and money.

5. It is not a terribly hard case (like those made by Slappa or V-Moda). It seems hard enough to protect headphones in most situations, but the sides do flex.

If anyone had alerted me to these limitations, I wouldn't have spent $40 for a minimal and generic case, and I certainly wouldn't have agreed to pay extra for shipping (it was only available from a third party). I'd either have bought something cheaper or more specific to portability and travel.

I read great things about these online so I figured they were worth a go. I was, however, severely disappointing. The sound quality on these is pretty average: I think they're a little lacking in the mid range and high bass and when I try to EQ these up a little the headphones crackle. They are also too big for me. I have an medium size head (according to bike helmets) and these hang a little too low on my ears even when they are the tightest possible configuration. Also they are dreadfully uncomfortable on my ear. They are also terrible for studio monitoring.

For DJ gigs they're great. They're light and since they're on and off my ears I don't have any fatigue from wearing them.

I bought these as a sort of do all headphone and was disappointed. I would say buy them for DJing headphones, otherwise pass and get something else.

Don't listen to the negative review, I personally got these for DJ use. That is the key when reviewing this product, it's meant for a specific output purpose (DJ). Allen & Heath have always offered quality Products but at a price range usually out of reach for the average consumer. I got these on Sale for $29 on Amazon and am loving the sound these things dish out. They are pretty neutral on the highs and Mids, the lows are bumped up a bit, but not too much to where they are distorting or affecting the sound in any way. For DJ use, they are perfect because they isolate the outside sound pretty darn well! and they are extremely light, compact, foldable, and pretty sturdy, they are built with quality components. They do not feel like your cheap plastic that other cans come with. They are extremely comfortable, after a while you forget that you have them on, so listening for hours without hurting your ears or feeling too tight is a plus. I am also using these for everyday A/V playback and even found them useful for music production. Make no mistake, no headphone is recommended for Mix-downs or Mastering of music projects, so these aren't the greatest sounding cans made, but they do give a rich, full sound. So for hi-fi playback they are great!

I needed a lighter weight but fully functioning piano that was easy to transport. The wood frame on this is easy to disconnect the piano and transport separately from the 55 lb. keyboard. I also require the 3 pedal functions. Sounds great if anything, it's too perfectly in tune. The touch is well balanced and easier on my arthritic fingers than my full size grand. Downside my previous keyboard had a flat surface on top and I could easily put a desk lamp on it but now I will also need to transport a floor lamp.

This bundle has been very good so far. The weighted keys feel great under my fingers. The sounds is pretty dang good, not as good as an actual piano, but it's a good substitute. Plus there are some nice features of this keyboard like setting one voice for the left hand (electric bass for example) and another for the right (piano) for a nice walking bass plus piano effect. In addition to the split voices you can also layer voices such as having a strings undertone to a piano main voice for a nice "full" effect. Overall I am quite happy with this purchase.

This Yamaha P105B Bundle is perfect for our family that wants to get back into playing piano. The Keyboard has really good weighted keys and is perfect for our desire to get a piano but not pay for an upright. The option to use the included headset helps when my children want to practice or play around and I want peace and quiet (or frankly am watching the ballgame). The furniture stand and pedal board give you the feel that you have an upright piano instead of those traditional keyboard stands that arm flimsy. It came with a music holder and the piano bench is good too. Since we have cats it is great to have a dust cover so that cat hair along with dust, doesn't get on your keys. I think this is a really good value. The only drawback was having to wait an extra week for the Furniture-Style Stand to show up as it shipped separately. I will say however that the seller did communicate well with us and offered to reimburse us for the stand if we wanted to purchase it from someone else. I would buy from this company again. I am really pleased with this choice, which we have wanted for quite some time.

I've been looking for something that splits the sound from a computer sound card to multiple sound devices, such as various headphones, powered speakers, amplifier, etc. When I began looking for something to split the sound between devices, I wasn't sure what to search for, and I couldn't find anything that would work. I knew nothing about headphone amplifiers, but that is exactly what I needed, and finally happened upon it. I looked at purchasing the Rolls HA43 Amp, but I liked the style and layout of this unit better. All the connections are in the back and the control knobs are in the front. The unit looks good, feels very sturdy and is well made. The sound is easily adjustable for each device and sounds great. I was worried about hiss/hum noises before purchasing this, but I don't hear any at all. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

This is a great product and does what it's supposed to but I have three complaints about it.

First, as others have said there is no ON/OFF switch. If you want to turn it off you must unplug it from the back of the set-top box as I've been doing. Also, that green light in the center of the box is really, really bright and quite annoying and distracts from when your watching a movie on TV. I usually turn the box to it's side to resolve this or cover it with a dark colored paper. The other problem I have is that the inputs and outputs where you plug in your headsets are in the rear when they make much more sense to put them in the front. By having them plugged in the back the wires have to be bent/curved 180 degrees since you're facing the front of the box -rather than straight if they would have been in the front. As a result, not only are you losing some wire slack (for example instead of 10 ft of wire length you only get 9.4ft) but as a result of the wire bending (in some cases more than one if you attach multiple headsets) the box tends to move out of it's place.

Also, because of the size and shape of the AC Power Adapter (see image at top of this product page) when plugged into a power strip/surge protector you end up take up or covering 2 or 3 outlets, which really sucks!

This is an extremely reasonably priced basic headphone amp. Like another reviewer said, the only thing I'd like that it doesn't have is an on-off switch. You just plug it in and it's on. But it's really just fine the way it is. The unit is surprisingly sturdy feeling, and the knobs move pleasingly smoothly no sudden shifts in volume. I like that each output has both a 1/4" and an 1/8" option. I haven't used this unit for critical listening yet (I use it mainly for monitoring during recording, not mixing), but I am quite happy with the purchase.

I was considering this one and the behringer HA400. Decided on this one based on some other review on other sites. Its a solid unit and seems well made. I have it connected to the output of a x-fi titanium and there is no background noise unless you turn the volume on the amp to greater than 3/4 power which would blow you ear drums out if you played music. The main reason i purchased these were the front audio connector on my computer has static noise so i wanted something to connect directly to the back of the soundcard that gives multiple outputs. That being said the sound is a bit fuller coming from the amp but i could only tell the difference with a high end set of headphones. Sounds great with the ATH-A700 from Audio Technics. At last the only thing missing would be an on-off switch but since i havent found any of these microamps to have a switch i didnt deduct a star.

I was looking for an amp that would boost the signal to my headphones from the audio outs on my HDTV for late night BluRay viewing. I entertained more expensive headphone amps such as HeadRoom's special ones but then money became tight and I wasn't about to spend $300 on one. I saw the reviews the other have posted and decided to try this one out, for the price it was a no-brainer. I got the amp yesterday and tried it out today using the Resident Evil opening sequence, all I can say is that it did the job exactly as I had hoped. My aging Sony CD3000's came to life and had zero distortion...mids, highs and bass were all neutral with nothing over the top.

If you are a night owl and need a solution similar to mine, this is the best bang for the buck you can get! Just don't skimp on cheap cables, they DO make a difference. Check outand [,,,]for the best price on high quality cables (had to plug, just too good to keep a secret). Happy listening!

So, I priced out several amps, and for me, this one was head and shoulders above the competition.

I needed a dual input, because the guitar I am playing is a hybrid bass/guitar (low 3 bass strings/high 4 guitar strings) much like the one Charlie Hunter plays.

The only thing that is slightly confusing, is that it is a dual channel (2 inputs, so can play guitar and bass through it at once, or guitar and a microphone etc...) but there are 2 inputs for either channel, a low/high, and the 2 page instruction manual doesn't fully explain the differences of running an instrument through them (and my bass side actually sounds marginally better through the 'high' not the low)

It is surprisingly light for it's size, which I think is prolly why it is soo inexpensive. But for me, this is a totally fine, and quite loud, practice amp. The only slight complaint I have is that the bass could sound fuller. I also have no need for the distortion/reverb that is offered on the dials, but don't think that they are too quality either.

If you want something pro-quality, this is not the item, however if you just want to get loud, and need a dual channel, this was the best one that I saw for the price, and it 100% fulfills my needs. Please feel free to check out my music, and get in touch if you have any followup!! OOH Yea! It also arrived in like 24 hours, and I selected free/regular shipping!! Amazing :)

who ever wrote the review about the amps distortion oviously cannot play. the amps out put is 80 watts but can be increased to 160 watts with an effects pedal. it needs a marshall footswitch to switch between channels and sounds best with a bc rich mockingbird or a jaxville special/custom series 2. it is a great buy and its the best amp for its price/size

Dont get me wrong. This is a relatively cheap and good amp for playing Jazz or clean sounds. You wont get a better price for an amplifier this loud.

Do not attempt to use this for Distortion. You will not get that warm Marshall/Fender/Mesa Boogie sound from this amp even if you use a good floor board with it.

If you're a student learning how to play jazz/country/anything without distortion, this is a good investment.

Otherwise, dont buy it.

I purchased this amp after searching for a used Radio shack mps-50 guitar amplifier which I had used in the past. After finding the pyramid GA610 on amazon I noticed the resemblance to the radio shack mps-50 I used to own. After looking at it on amazon I realized it is basically the same amp different Name, manufacturer. The differences I have noticed after buying it are chrome knobs, different faceplate and metal grill on the front of the amp. Everything else looks the same as the radio shack mps-50 made by radio shack years ago. I purchased this amp because of the dual channel , I can play guitar on 1 channel and plug in a unidirectional microphone on the 2nd channel. I plan on using this amp for small gigs. This amp I believe is more in the 60 watt range like the radio shack model. I don't know how they come up with 600 watt as advertised. This amplifier is plenty loud for a large room. overall I am happy with this amp after trying it out it fits my current needs. If you want 1 amplifier the dual channel is a plus for vocal and guitar for small gigs.

For a less expensive amp it does the job very well and I would recommend it for the beginner artist.
